Origami Honeycomb Box - Round Organizer DIY - Paper Kawaii

- Learn how to make a honeycomb shaped origami box. This box has 7 to 9 sections, you can use this to organise stationery, makeup or just for display. No glue required.
🔇 No you haven't gone deaf, there is no music, just the sound of the paper being folded and some birds chirping now and then. Let me know which you prefer in the comments please, music or folding sounds.

Some people have suggested using it as a spice box. Also thanks to those of you on Instagram, facebook and discord who gave me name suggestions! Honeycomb was suggested by multiple people.

The inner boxes are made so that the color and design is on the inside rather than outside. If any of making the inner boxes was unclear in this video, check out the original ones first, might help.
This video took soooo long to make, not sure why, it was just really annoying actually... It has prevented me from continuing on with other models so I'm very happy it's now done, even if... it probably won't be that popular..

You Will Need

Outer box:
2 sheets of rectangular paper. I used A4(21x29.6cm) but you can use any size such as US Letter paper (printer paper). Best to use thickish paper.
Inner Hexagonal boxes:
1 sheet of square paper. If you used A4 the size is 15 x 15cm
(if using other sizes, divide the long edge of the rectangular paper by 2)
Inner Octagonal box:
1 sheet of rectangular paper the same size as the outer box.
Plants: • Mini Origami Pot Plant...
(if making for plant, you don't need the inner boxes just the outer box)

I like it without music because during the folding of a model I backtrack a lot.
Personally, I like the music better since it's always awesome and it's never anyone I've ever heard of, but the paper folding noise is very ASMR. Maybe do 1 paper folding for every 2 music?

Se ve hermoso, pero no tengo ganas de hacer todos esos dobleces, me tomaría días, si alguien lo hace le recomiendo que use un papel plastificado para que no se arruine tanto trabajo.
No es un modelo fácil, pero en un par de noches podría completarse. Hacerlo podría ser divertido. No es divertido si es apresurado :)

What kind of paper do you use?
For the outer box I'd recommend thick paper and the inner boxes, thin paper, but you can use any kind :)

Yes, it's explained at 10:20 - the papers will need 11 sections instead of 14. There is a photo pop up, hope that helps :)
