    There are also messages between Ana and her mother that her mother showed, on december 25th Ana sent her mom “can you come here tomorrow” (she would need to fly over to USA obvioulsy) and her mom answered “what do you mean, why” and Ana said “Brian and I are not getting along well”, the mother asked why and Ana said its about kids. Ana was really pushy, saying “please fly over tomorrow come here and stay 2 months” and there were couple more messages but this is the important. It seems like she was scared, maybe more for her kids then herself. Im from Serbia so i read all the news here and thought its important to mention.

      This is just so sad. Her poor mother must feel so guilty now. I can't imagine what she's going through. I really hope she comes to get her grandchildren. They need her now more than ever. I wish we knew or could hear more from Ana family so we know that the children will be safe. With that size of an inheritance attached to them they will need someone who can be trusted for sure. I hope her mother finds peace and it's highly likely she could have been a victim too if she had came. I just really hope she shows up for Ana children. Thanks for sharing that with us.

    • @sandicteodora95
      @sandicteodora95 Год назад +77

      I found informations that say the kids are with social workers, together and that ofc they first want to find closest family to take them, and those are the two grandmas, but it seems like they would likely give them to Brian’s mom since she is in usa and Ana’s mom is here in Serbia so it would be more comlicated. But the thing is Diana (him mom) didnt like Ana and was saying that their youngest child isn’t Brian’s cuz he is blonde unlike other two boys. I feel like she would not give the same amount of love to youngest boy since she obviosly thinks its not even her biological grandchild and was saying to Brian that he isn’t his son. Some people think this could also be his motive for the murder.

      Well she really didn't so well with her own child huh not saying it's his mother's fault but the little babies we raise today either become a productive member of society or a man child who turns into a monster . That's how I see it anyway it's always in the back of my mind with my own children that one day they will be to old to start to show them so we have to begin when they are small showing love compassion and discipline when needed because if we don't then other ppl will feel that burden when they become adults. I hope that makes sense.

I was also a student living on campus in Columbia in 2019 and it was really tragic. The scariest part is it REALLY could’ve happened to anyone. She was out with her friends and she decided to go home earlier than the rest of her friends. She got into a car she thought was her Uber, but she was kidnapped and murdered. Her parents created Sami’s Law in her honor, and it’s added some very important safety regulations for identifying ride-share drivers.

    I love that you and Christina are both covering this ! So saddening though, best way to get this out there is for the world to see and make a stand

    I hope that a relative or close friend of Ana's will be able to adopt the three boys so that they can have some safety and love in their life. It is so sad to think of what their future might be if no one is available to take them in. Poor little tykes. 😪🙏

    I saw this case as it was new and kept periodically searching as time went by for updates and I'm glad you covered it. Ana is so beautiful, it destroys me someone like her got stuck in a situation with someone like Brian, and could've never predicted what would happen, her and her children deserved/deserve so much better

    Thank you for covering this. So recent. So many spouses gone in such horrible ways. Crazy! How one could get close to harm yet dismembered them.

    I have to give it to Kendall to cover these cases all the time. I can only imagine how difficult and draining it must be to speak about these horrific stories… thank you for the content you provide while creating awareness.
