UPDATES: As of the latest hearing today, June 12th, a judge ruled that Kouri will remain behind bars while she awaits her trial. In this hearing, Eric’s sister, Amy, gave a powerful victim impact statement, ”We have scarcely gone a day without finding out some new allegations or evidence regarding something Kouri appears to have maliciously done to attack and undermine my brother, his three little boys and our family," she said. A trial date has not been set.
Since recording, Kouri’s google searches have been uncovered and it points even more to her guilt. She looked up things like “can you overdose on fentanyl” and “signs of being under federal investigation.” These are just two of many incriminating searches. Although, from picking up on what kind of family Eric is from, I think the auntie will put her feelings aside & do what’s right by those little boys.
Wishing Eric’s sons & the rest of his family, healing thoughts, I pray they get the justice they deserve, albeit that justice takes the boys mother away from them. I hope, with their extended family & possible therapy the boys will grow up to be just like their dad & learn to have forgiveness for their mother. (Not for her sake), purely for their own healing.

I remember taking the bedside report from the medic with his wife standing at his bedside. He kept going in and out of the seizure, which is uncommon. New onset seizures in an adult male is also odd. She kept walking in and out on her cell phone making calls. Over the next few hours the police showed up and took her out of the ER to question her. His family came in and told me that she had been cheating on him and he recently found out about it. They were both compounding pharmacists and she was poisoning him. It was wild. I have no idea what happened after I transferred him to ICU. I can't believe these woman are all around us. 😨

If you honestly believe your partner is trying to kill you… and I can’t stress this enough… LEAVE. I feel so terrible for Eric and his family. I hope they get the Justice they deserve.
Update to say I am not trying to judge Eric in anyway. I completed understand that there are factors we don’t know and I can see why people would want to keep their family together. I have just seen this many times where someone will say they think their partner is trying to kill them and then they stay for “one more holiday” or some other reason and end up dead.

I have no proof but I feel like it’s likely that Eric held off on leaving to ensure his ducks were in a row so to speak. Given his suspicions, he probably wanted to make sure his assets would be protected and the boys would be in his custody, given how nuts he thought Kouri was. So sad that he didn’t get away in time.

One thing I’ve learnt from watching “Dateline TV” that there are signs that your spouse is going to kill you, life insurance, love triangle and second marriages. The second spouse will be the one to kill you or the spouse that’s been married numerous times.. Life Insurance should not be taken out unless the spouse is present. So sad.. 🙏🏾❤️

I think this is a very sad situation. We often see women in this type of position, in an abusive relationship they feel like they cannot leave or trying to preserve their family, and it ends up costing their lives. All the things that happened shows that Eric is not only a murder victim, but who know what kinds of manipulation and gaslighting Kouri might have used to convince him to stay or dismiss his worries. It is very sad that it got to the point to cost Eric's life, but it just shows how dangerous some people can be. No one wants to believe their life partner would do something like this. No family should have to go through this. I hope Eric gets the justice he deserves and that his family can grieve his absence. I feel terrible for his kids, losing both parents in the end, I can't imagine how hard it is to process what their mother did.

Eric didn't deserve to be poisoned to death. People: you never GET TOGETHER because of kids, or STAY TOGETHER because of kids - kids are resilient, they'll be fine! Better to be safe & sound & working thru w/therapy alone & ALIVE vs. planning a funeral 😐

I have to disagree with that, because..if she treated her husband Eric, an adult, how would she treat her children? Not to be an armchair psychologist, but she seems very narcissistic, so I think it's safe to say that she wouldn't treat them too well. I think, as well as a lot of people, that Eric may have been trying to get things in order with Kouri to keep his sons safe.
