Sarah was my friend. I'm so lucky to have known her and spend her last birthday with her in Canada. Videos like this always give me a little bit of a jump scare but you did a great job telling her story and really capturing who she was. Thank you.
I’m so sorry. As a local it makes my heart happy knowing how loved she was through messages and her memorial on the bridge beautifully decorated for Christmas ❤️❤️
I'm so sorry for your loss. It’s clear from your words that Sarah was a special person, and it’s beautiful that you had the chance to spend such a meaningful moment with her. I’m glad the video was able to honor her memory in a way that felt true to who she was. Thank you for sharing this, and my heart goes out to you.
The biggest thing to me- when the cops initially go to Liam’s house, he never ONCE asked questions like “what is this about, is she okay? Is she missing? What is going on?”
Maybe because his mom already told him on the phone? I mean police asked her to call him so they could come over to his/their house. Police explained it to her before.
The part that got me too was that he was kinda putting her down n shit when they were asking him about her. Like basically saying she’s crazy n obsessive n saying she hadn’t even registered for school yet it’s just weird especially because like it’s not bad enough that you killed her you have to talk so negatively about her afterwards too?? But I’ve seen it before.
The scariest part about this is that knowing someone you've known ALL YOUR LIFE and calling your FRIEND can end up murdering you to take money or just items. No other reason. It's crazy, and evil. She and her family didn't deserve that. Liam deserves everything he gets and so does Preston.
i will never ever ever understand the way people go crazy for money. i have been poor my entire life and getting a big sum of money could change my life but i literally cannot IMAGINE or fathom hurting someone, anyone, for money. it genuinely baffles me how many people are capable of hurting others even for small amounts of money.
It was really polarizing. I knew Liam’s family when I was young. A lot of people close to him didn’t believe it and fought anyone who did believe it until the confession video was released. It was really wild to witness.

obviously not the case in this instance, but there are sooo many people convicted for felonies they never committed or were framed for-especially black and brown people- and those people deserve to be defended. we (unfortunately) can’t deny that right for some because that would deny it for the others who actually deserve it.
I will say, I’m in my last year of law school and I definitely want to be a public defender but it I’ve also watched Kendall since I was a teen. I want to be a PD in Chicago because I think everyone deserves competent representation but I struggle with cases like this.
As a parent, I find this case terrifying and incredibly sad. If what we believe are our children’s life long friends can do something this heinous. People who you all trusted can do something like this is so scary. Who can we trust around children anymore 😢. My heartbreaks for Sarah and her family
Could you cover the case of Vienna Irwin in Ontario, Canada? Her case was just closed without any charges. Vienna was a 2 year old little girl found in a closed septic tank at her daycare center. Edit to add; I feel so sorry for Sarah’s family and friends. What happened to her is so awful!
Oh that's horrid. I was a daycare worker for years in a small town in Manitoba. Moved across the province, heard a rumor, and reported potential child abuse based on that rumor. I don't understand why anyone could hurt a child
My coworker shared the case of Vienna on Facebook, and it absolutely broke my heart. My heart goes out to that family, I hope they have more answers, and I really hope the case can get covered, as more people need to hear about this!!
As a Neptune high school NJROTC student. Seeing them every day. Volunteering in their classes. This case never leaves the hearts of everyone in our little shore town. God rest her soul she was undoubtedly one of the sweetest girls I’ve ever known. May this scarlet flier always fly high ❤️❤️❤️
Born and raised in Monmouth County. Most of my friends went to Brookdale and were there at the same time as Sarah. This case hits so incredibly close to home and I really appreciate you bringing more attention to it.
I wouldn't say that 50k-100k isnt a lot of money, but I sure as hell wouldnt say it is "The amount of money people kill for" It is honestly insulting to say that any amount of money is worth killing over but 50k to 100k is what some people make in 1 year from their jobs, it definitely isnt long-term life changing money
That’s so eerie when Liam says “I don’t even know if I can put any of it in the bank”. Like, how’d you even get that money if you supposedly didn’t have anything to do with her disappearing!?
My uncle was killed over his paycheck by a supposed friend. I will never understand someone taking someone's life over money. Any amount of money, but 50-100k is all it takes?? It's so gross, people like that don't ever need to get out of jail because they've shown they will commit the most awful crimes out of greed.
I used to walk to my bank with 2 grand in cash, from tips at the club I worked at in Philly. Not the safest city lol Once my banker realized this he scolded me and told me people will kill over that amount and to make more stops at the bank so I don’t have to carry it around like that.
@amandamarie3e my uncle's check wasn't even that much. The one who did it my uncle was helping out as well, so he probably would have given it to him if he had asked, but instead he attacked him while he slept. I'd definitely advise it's best to be safe rather than sorry there. Drug addicts & desperate, greedy people will take advantage, maybe not to that extreme, but it's a toss up when greed is involved.
Ive seen and heard this case so many different times/ways but im glad i stayed knowing Kendall. New footage, new opinions- it was like a whole new story. RIP to Sarah and God bless her father ❤️

My God....Bless Sarah's family and bless her heart ...to be taken out of her own life, just for money SMMFH....and for it to be a life long friend, someone so close, not a stranger, not a bitter ex, but a f r i e n d. Dear god....I never cry at these awful murders....but when you were talking about killing her while the dog watched....omg. That is the coldest thing I think I have ever heard.
It’s really nice that you are sharing these people’s stories but children victims deserve to be heard too. Yes it is sad and scary to talk about but it’s reality and sometimes parents need to be reminded of the dangers the outside world can bring.
Sarah Stern with my best friend’s cousin. During this time it was such chaos. I remember searching for her body by the water and Liam was right there helping Loooking for the body that he dumped over the bridge. It was disgusting.
I'm so careful about who I let my kids around so that I know they're safe... but that obviously doesn't really matter. This just goes to show that you NEVER truly know someone. How sad to be so betrayed by people you'd known, loved, & trusted for so long. Prayers to the family/friends. ❤🩹
What is even more disturbing is you never really know a person that is considered a childhood friend. To turn on you and be caught off guard. That they’re out to do evil against you. This one really had me crying. 😢
I haven't watched til the end yet so I don't know if you will say this, but they really thought that her body showing up would be proof that she ended her own life? No water in the lungs would prove that se was dead before that... Just proving that they are stupid monsters. So sorry for Sarah, she should have had a wonderful life 😢

Omg I'm in the first half of the video but I already relate to Sarah so much - in middle school my mom was with an abusive boyfriend and RUclips was definitely my escape.
My heartbreaks for Sarah and her family
the intro when u said final episode- my heart stopped for a sec lol.
Same 😂
No me too- I put this episode on while cleaning my room and I just stopped mid air 😂😂
😂 SAMESIES!!!
motherhood looks so good on you! you always glow and are so gorgeous but i can't help but notice it the most this last year ❤
Wait I‘ve not watched a video but listend to your podcast for the last couple of months but YOU ARE GLOWING ✨
Yes I agree
Thats what I thought too!
I think she has a request form for cases. She doesn't always see all of the comments.
These is a case request form in the description box, it’s pretty far down!
I hope she covers this case 💔
I’ve put a request into the form, thanks everyone!
Enjoy your time off. Thank you for all you do to promote legacy for victims!
I was waiting for this video to drop!!!!!! I listen as I drive Lyft and you’ll be surprised how many people love true crime and LOVE YOU KENDALL ❤
As much as I love true crime, I have to say I would be scared if my Uber driver was listening to it 😂
I was just coming to say this 🤣🤣@@michelleabbott8272
This is such a weird thing to do lmao
I love this!!
@@michelleabbott8272I’m a true crime junkie and I’d be a little apprehensive with the Uber driver😂😂😂
When people trash talk someone who is missing ..... They seem very guilty to me.
Born and raised in Monmouth County. Most of my friends went to Brookdale and were there at the same time as Sarah. This case hits so incredibly close to home and I really appreciate you bringing more attention to it.
I'm sorry that would be very heartbreaking 💔 😢
I live close by and every single time I go over the belmar bridge my stomach turns alittle
@@rutanarnaryou’d murder ur best friend? 100k isn’t much
@rutanarnar well go do something that doesn't harm others?
Happy Holidays, true crime friends.
My condolences for your lost, hope this monster rots in jail 😶
I used to walk to my bank with 2 grand in cash, from tips at the club I worked at in Philly. Not the safest city lol
Once my banker realized this he scolded me and told me people will kill over that amount and to make more stops at the bank so I don’t have to carry it around like that.
You own that colour!!!!! Looks absolutely beautiful on you!
Ive seen and heard this case so many different times/ways but im glad i stayed knowing Kendall. New footage, new opinions- it was like a whole new story. RIP to Sarah and God bless her father ❤️
It’s crazy don’t even know you but the way your voice soothes me to sleep I actually have to rewatch videos because I don’t get to watch it 1st time around. I’m happy I found you. Happy holidays ❤
This story took place only 30 minutes from where I grew up and it was one of the most talked about cases to this day in Monmouth County, thank you for brining more awareness to it.
My God....Bless Sarah's family and bless her heart ...to be taken out of her own life, just for money SMMFH....and for it to be a life long friend, someone so close, not a stranger, not a bitter ex, but a f r i e n d. Her quote made me cry but not in sadness but being grateful that someone like Sarah was here. May God bless her family and real genuine friends. And to the idiot killers, you'll never see, touch, smell, earn another dollar in your life. You've made your mother's proud.....
7:15 last year my 4year relationship ended and for 6 months I had your videos on repeat all day everyday to keep my mind off of it
I hope you are healing and happy. When my husband went to visit family out the country for two months, these and other podcasts/videos kept me distracted and kept me from missing him so much ❤
same!!
Same. I hope you are doing great now. Hugs
I hope you’re doing well. I’m doing the same now. My relationship of 22 years (of which 11 were married) has recently come to an end and these video’s along with Kimberleigha’s have gotten me through.
When you have to do dishes so you look for a video and your favorite youtuber has a new video up! 🤩
Omg same !!
I've seen this case covered before... I've seen the footage of Liam's confession... none of it makes it easier. Thank you for not playing it for views. I can't comprehend what he did. I think anyone with a soul would agree.
The word: "Money is the root of all evil" is so true.
I don't usually make comments like this, but I just wanted to say that colour is really nice on you, Kendall. A girl can never have too many compliments. ❤ from Melbourne Australia 🇦🇺. Rest easy, Sarah.
The way he tells that story as if its nothing 😮my god poor girl ❤
I’m from North jersey…about an hour away from Belmar and I’ll never forget this…big news by us…so sad but then God for people like Anthony going with his gut and doing the right thing…had to be scary
Hearing this story about a fellow Dink is more then heartbeaking. Jenna and Julien are my true heros in life, and the community they fostered together is unforgetable
This case is so sad. We truly can’t trust anyone in this life. Always guard your goals and secrets. While you’re planning your life, a “friend” may be planning your demise.
My love & thoughts are with Michael & Sarah's friends & family, im so sorry for your loss. Kendall thank you for always being so compassionate & empathetic w/ the families & friends to these victims. Also at the beginning of the video you sd theres ppl that say thank you to you a lot & i am one of them. With my lupus & kidney disease i dont get to leave the house or hospital ever unless its to another dr so i enjoy when you drop a video, it brightens my day. So thank you very much for all that you do just to entertain, inform & bring closure to all of us.
Always love how you wrap up the video with telling what a great caring person Sarah was, with every wrap up ,every victim matters my heart goes out to the families, and its important ,love her yearbook quote. Also you are stunning Happy Holidays!
I've seen coverage of this case before, but it never ceases to amaze me, and disgust me. I know what it's like to be jealous of someone's money...but I'd never do anything like this to get it. And the fact that they're supposed to be her best friend. Such a sad story and makes you question how loyal your friends are to you.
I always appreciate your coverage of these cases. Thanks for sharing it with us.
Earlier in the interview, he said he started work at 4:30pm. This story is very fishy.
I still watch Jenna videos. When my daughter was in high school she introduced me to Jenna. We would laugh until we’d cry, watching her-fun memories! Don’t ever leave us Kendall!!💚💚💚
i just started the video, i never comment, but you look so incredible kendal! i am so proud, you look truly phenomenal
thank you so much for always being so respectful :) i used to feel so guilty for being interested in true crime, i want to learn about cases but i feel like everyone focuses on the killers and how "genius" they were. now i can finally watch videos about cases without feeling disrespectful! you're gorgeous inside and out, thank you :)))
Moral of the story: Never trust your "friends." But seriously, you can't really trust anybody, especially when there's money involved.
Love your sense of fashion in this episode Kendal. Thanks for the great content as always
That color really suits her!!
Who knew who did it straight away , they don’t look even a little bit sad they are just making her out to be a basket case 😮
I grew up in Monmouth County New Jersey. While I didn’t know Sarah, I knew people who knew her. I only heard wonderful things about Sarah. Such a heartbreaking loss. Nothing but thoughts and love to her family ❤️
Don’t usually comment on the appearance of my fave creators but you legit look incredible! You look healthier and than ever and are just glowing. Not that any of that matters, but i know it’s nice to get those compliments sometimes. Merry Christmas 🎄
Other channels have covered this case; however, you have done a great job letting us know about Sarah. Thank you for the research! ❤
Geez…what Sarah had to be thinking in her final moments. Someone she totally trusted.😢
Thank you so much for all you and your team does.
What is even more disturbing is you never really know a person that is considered a childhood friend. To turn on you and be caught off guard. That they’re out to do evil against you. This one really had me crying. 😢
Looove your hair in this video! Thank you for your great work on this podcast!
The fact she hung out with them for month as he planned that….wow. I’m so sorry, Sarah. A beautiful woman. ❤
I haven't watched til the end yet so I don't know if you will say this, but they really thought that her body showing up would be proof that she ended her own life? No water in the lungs would prove that se was dead before that... Just proving that they are stupid monsters. So sorry for Sarah, she should have had a wonderful life 😢
This hurt.. they were supposed to be her friends. My heart goes out to her family. Rip Sarah
You are truly glowing Kendall! You are the second true crime creator I started watching here a few years ago and I am so glad I found you, Josh and crew! Your empathy for victims and families is palpable ❤
💔 heartbreaking disgusting friends who were evil monsters. Poor girl. She was a beautiful soul in & out. Preston should not get 20 years. He could’ve stopped it. Instead he went along & helped. Her dad is one strong amazing person. To start a foundation in her honor is so inspiring. And Kendall the level of respect & compassion you show to the families is one of many reasons why you are my fave true crime RUclipsr.
With friends like this, who needs enemies?
you (and your family) have done so much with your platform it's insane to see how far you've come (and there's still so much more in your future ✨)
Sarah seemed like such a beautiful light, just like Kendall. Thank you for covering this with such grace and love as you do with every case🫶🏼
Merry Christmas (early) and Happy New Year (early)🎉! You look beautiful. Thank you for being you!! Telling these stories for the victims and not just them but their families that is your true passion and that's why I watch. I can tell you care. ❤ Your comfy animals are so sweet and calming through the cases.
Omg I'm in the first half of the video but I already relate to Sarah so much - in middle school my mom was with an abusive boyfriend and RUclips was definitely my escape. Grace, Hannah and Mamrie were my favorites along with Rose & Rosie and many others. Obviously there have been a lot of problematic RUclipsrs from that era exposed, but it was so different than RUclips culture now and it felt more like a community then I feel like. I'm glad she had that sense of community during such a hard time.
You look so extra lovely today Kendall ❤ glowing!
Hold on before we even get into this episode you look BEAUTIFUL! This color was made for you!
KENDALL!!!! You look so good per usual but you're literally glowing! ✨
I just have to say Kendall looks absolutely gorgeous in this video she is stunning and glowing!!!!
I have amazing timing today! I'm cleaning and just finished an episode of Mile higher and this popped up! Made my day
Your makeup is ON POINT!! 🔥🔥🔥
EWU and your coverage of this case is really great. EWU is more whole case focused while you go more in depth about the victims which is nice.
Kendall this is off topic but you are looking AMAZINGGGG! 😍😍
I appreciate your decision to cut out those parts of the confession tapes. As soon as I saw this video pop up I remembered the horrifying details he shared.
He said the dog didn't do anything, but the dog was in the kennel. I wonder if the dog DID freak out, and that made him feel guilty, so he lied.
Kendall i have a serious question. Why do you look so snaatcheddd 🤩💕💕💕
she’s been working out for years and it shows.
