- Welcome back ladies and gents, after a hectic few months I reveal my newest workshop during its build!

Make brackets for on the railings, then you could fit your cameras on, to film from above the bays.
Maybe one for each bay, like I said a suggestion

So thrilled to see your infectious enthusiasm hasn’t been dented by the troubles with the authorities at the grain store unit - love the fact you’ve painted the wall like the original shop, when I first started watching your channel. Remember the green TD5 when you bolted down the wrong cam carrier - that was where I started! Loved that series, and everything since pretty much! Cannot wait to see what you produce at the new place - inspirational 👍👊

My Defender is going very well (thank you) - we have just completed some more detailing on the paint work etc and engine bay. I don't think it will ever see rain or mad again !!!!! All the best Nick

Please Please Please include the dogs in your new workshop. Perhaps a designated area where they can be safe yet are involved somehow. I started following you initially because I saw a thumbnail with your beautiful golden retrievers .Congratulation's and good luck. Great to see you back.

I have been following your journey since the first 'workshop'. So to see you fired up and looking forward is great.
Do love those Disco 1 and 2 and 'back in the day' I had two new ones (not at the same time!) same colour at that one and sounds like the same diesel. Great cars and I think LR lost the vibe after the Disco 3 and 4 and don't even get me started on using those Ford and BMW engines 😏
I am now back in the LR fold with a 2001 P38 RR Bordeaux with the lovely old 4.0 Litre V8. It was an eBay gamble but then I only paid £700. It ran but didn't drive - "Faulty gearbox" - but you needed a shower after sitting in it. Builders shed of an interior. After gutting it all I cornered the market in house keys two of which had jammed the auto gear selector, found £11.40 in coins, two torches and a 10" Adjustable. But new tyres, fully serviced and immaculate body externally. Odd.

Great to see the expansion to the business and your enthusiasm for what have coming your way. Can’t wait for what it brings. Looks like with all this space a forklift will be a next purchase to aid with work flow. Maybe simple but a steel topped work bench with a slight lip all round and a singular drain point sloping towards, for stripping oil filled parts cleaning engines ect keeping the oil and mess contained…. That anvil looks dangerous if it's sticking out lol. Obviously it won't be. The new premises look great. Plenty of room for ladies at different stages of build. Youll need more staff as it might look a little empty lolLooking forward to more build videos.
Thats immense Sam! The dream indeed. I cant imagine the investment needed to move in there let alone the monthly rent and rates. I have a lot of space but its in an old barn. A space like that would be incredible. Hopefully it can be a pit stop on my first few road tests in my Defender build so i can be a giddy fanboy 😂
Awesome - great RUclips content - I am about to start on a 1986 110 County (family vehicle) and will be adopting some of your ideas - might buy some parts if you ship to Australia :) - I have one suggestion, ideally LCD panels on the walls of each bay, so you can have a countdown clock and a list of jobs and parts that need to be replaced/changed/added for each car in a bay.

Very happy for you Sam. Last summer I went through a industrial unit re-furb about the same size as yours . An...errm...interesting experience! 🙃. The biggest headaches were putting in all the new systems required e.g. new building regs compliance, fire protection, security, heating/cooling of enclosed Mezz areas and not least preparing for the local Fire Officer inspection prior to opening. Looks like you've got it in hand but I'd be happy to chat over things or pop down if you think I could be of help?

I've followed you from day one. I've watched, (I think), every video, the journey has been so funny, so true and raw and off the wall! What started from a small acorn on a drive and all the hard work, worry, anxiety has now broken ground and shoots are starting to come through the soil. Now your focus must be to replicate what you have done with fun and team work, but grow into a very fine tree indeed.

Great new unit. Before you start real work you need to get some shadow boards up for communal tools. Also ensure that you have eye wash stations close to your work areas rather than hidden away in reception or staff restrooms where the first aid kits are usually placed. More importantly where are your dogs going to sleep, really missed the in this video

Congratulations on the new unit, having been,where you are now, but 40 years ago I understand just how you feel! But a word of caution, I moved everything in, to our new 12.000ft unit and then 3 months later the landlord sent an eviction notice to our last known address. Which of course was not our current address!! In the meantime they, the landlord’s company, had used our business worth to attract loads of new tenants in to their properties and then they didn’t need us anymore. What they did was perfectly legal, although morally wrong! It cost me 40k to move. Trust me I was not amused!
I’m not saying that every landlord/development company has or will act in this way but having been at the sharp end of these, supposedly! Reputable landlords I always urge a sense of precaution and double check everything!!!
