So good to see you back! When I was younger off roading was the thing, nowadays, a good comfortable, reliable build is all that is required lol. Keep it OEM'ish is my vote.
Excellent to see you back, Sam and to hear of upcoming projects. I'd like to see the RedLandy with upgrades - but not the monstrous transformation; sthg the dogs can just about jump up into😅.
For big red, look at what they do in Iceland and manage to fir 44’’ tyres. Cut off sping mounts turn them upside down, use standard’ish’ suspension and that allows you to keep normal suspension geometary.
As a new follower to the channel, I believe that once you sort out the modifications for fitting the big rim, tires, suspension and motor, it will open up a whole new business model and keep you in the off road category for the new generations.
If youve started going with big red, stay going, persevere. You will be glad you did when you finished, instead of always seeing a regret everytime you see it
Good to see you back! Unless you have the propper time to dedicate to the full off-road build, go with the refined option. The car deserves to be used!! Down the line, if you have the time, grab another defender and make that the largest UK defender - it doesn't need to be Big Red ♥️ keep up the solid work as always!
I'm interested how the BMW engine conversions stand up to proper off-roading. Going through water crossings, mud, sand, etc. Are the components/connections waterproofed, where do the alternator or starter sit height-wise? I like the idea of the conversion refinement wise but worry how robust it is when it comes to 'roughing it up.' (If I did this conversion for an expedition vehicle, how well does it cope with dodgy fuel?) Loving that you're back on - I've really missed your content. Looking forward to seeing future projects.
FULL underside resto on the Defender, keep the patina/originality on top. Do a proper full on resto on the Disco 1 and sell it to some lucky so & so! Thanks for the video.
Excellent to see you back. With bitter experience, sometimes you need to know when to stop a project. If you don't feel it , don't do it, has been my experience. Big Red perhaps could be restored to original spec and used as a run around. Why not? Catch you guys soon.
Not sure how it compares cost wise, but if I wanted to stuff 40” tires under a Defender then the “easiest” way is with bolt-on portal axles. There’s a company in Ukraine that make them for the Defender, called Werewolf. And they look frigging awesome. They’re not cheap, but the benefit is that the geometry doesn’t really change at all. Still easier said than done, but it’s a thought. Plus… portals on a Defender are just bonkers 🔥🔥
Don’t be stupid 😂😂😂 I’ve been following you for a good while now, keep going on your ideas, I have a 90 on 38’ and love it, I’ll help you if you need cheers
Great to see you back on RUclips . Big red could become a bottomless pit of spending money . If you carry on trying to make it the biggest landrover. Oem refined would be more practical and more user friendly. Looking forward to watching your new projects in the shop.
Do a light restoration with it, sell it and Plow the cash into that big yellow discovery if it’s still lying around. Make it a triple locked V8 monster👌🏼
Welcome back from your hiatus. Looking forward to more content. I think a modest lift for Old red would be best... your dogs need their own vehicle. Cheers!
Cut your losses big fella! No point throwing good money after bad… Scale back the big red into something that can be workable, and if not…ditch it all together, guilt free. We’ll get over it.
good to see Juice back on the YT feed! and another hand raised for a tried and trusted recipe for the redlandy and get the disco going. 2 up & running beats one/maybe one(!) 👍
Glad your back Sam! I reckon do Big red up tatefully, if your taste has changed and evolved then it makes sense that the build does to! I am stoked to see disco 1 as well !! So glad your back and stoked for the builds to come!!
you need to get in touch with the icelandic guys who lift and put massive wheels on defenders they will show you how to go on perhaps a trip up there and talk to the pros make good content
Build big red into an OEM+ style with the weathered and character-filled body retained. Maybe more in keeping with what you will build for customers? I was just wondering the other day where your videos had gone so it’s good to see the return.
Great to see you guys back fighting fit. With regards to Big Red, the original concept would have been amazing content, but how usable she would be once completed is questionable, so for my money cut your l losses and scrap the original plans, instead install a new Marsland chassis and add all the trick bits you already have. The end result you will have a fantastic 90 that is totally usable on a daily basis, with a body that tells its own story. Keep up the amazing work. 👍😎
Sam, for big red, go with what you’re good at, leave patina evidence in place, then the key would be to competition the outcomes, raffle ole big red off 😊
Great to see you guys back! I love that you don’t give two f*€ks about the algorithm. Just do your thing as and when 😊 big red would be epic on a slight lift and full marsden chassis rather than the monster truck she could become. Is wildcat anything to do with you on the silver defender? Or a previous owner. All the very best! 🫡
At least Ocean and Miley are still around. They are my favorites anyway! Would love some Range Rover content. L322 is my favorite, but would love to see any of them on your channel!
I’m thinking 🤔 would my wife let me spend the money on an old disco 😂. It scare the heck out of the boy racers 😊😊 be worth it just for the smiles 😊😊 great to see your all well to 👍👍👍😎
I honestly wasn't a huge fan of the big red series as though it was more refined and high-quality, it felt more scripted. I'm honestly a huge fan of your more go with the flow unrefined content as long as it's shot on good cameras.especially when panning across a scene
\you have to stick to the OG plan. Could you do a youtuber collab with someone like @DirtLifestyle. He makes some epic builds across the pond and designs his own suspension layouts. maybe he could send you some pointers
It's about time you show up. We missed your content Juice
Why did the staff leave? They think the grass is greener! Good to see you back 👍🏻
Good to see you back👌
Personally I would do the defender as a sympathetic restoration, keep it fairly standard but with a few tweeks and use it 👍
So good to see you back! When I was younger off roading was the thing, nowadays, a good comfortable, reliable build is all that is required lol. Keep it OEM'ish is my vote.

Great to have you back Team Juice. A sympathetic upgrade to ‘Red’ is the best decision. Thanks Sam, see you soon.
Old Red: sympathetic rebuild with a/c in the rear to keep the doggos happy
If youve started going with big red, stay going, persevere. You will be glad you did when you finished, instead of always seeing a regret everytime you see it

Great to see you guys back! Enthusiasm, energy and innovation. Keep 'em coming!!
Oh yeah, Welcome Back! You were greatly missed!
Absolutely brilliant to see you back. You have been sorely missed.🙂
I love that little red Landrover it would look class as an OEM restore.
lol. That cold open. So good.
Missed you, Sam and crew!
How do they make the defenders in Iceland work on massive wheels?
You’re back ! Brilliant don’t disappear for so long again 😊
Welcome back, great update, the glass on the silver 90 looks epic as for big red I’m still on the fence 👍🏻🏴
FULL underside resto on the Defender, keep the patina/originality on top. Do a proper full on resto on the Disco 1 and sell it to some lucky so & so! Thanks for the video.
Get big red some portal axel slightly lower springs still be able to make it a big truck
I'd put big red back to almost standard and use it. A tonka truck would look cool for one video and end up gathering dust after that
Excellent to see you back. With bitter experience, sometimes you need to know when to stop a project. If you don't feel it , don't do it, has been my experience. Big Red perhaps could be restored to original spec and used as a run around. Why not? Catch you guys soon.
Good to see you back by the way.

Great to see you back, you’ve been missed. I would love to see you do the biggest Defender in the world.🤙
Big Red..... if you want a worlds first you know what you need to do! if it was easy, everyone would be doing it!
Welcome back. Do the red landy as a rat rod, all tweaked underneath but plenty of patina on the outside.
I love what you do, keep them vlogs coming!
I missed your videos so much❤
Don’t be stupid 😂😂😂 I’ve been following you for a good while now, keep going on your ideas, I have a 90 on 38’ and love it, I’ll help you if you need cheers
TerraFirma 11” is my recommendation. Missed you guys!

GOOD TO SEE YOU BACK I WOULD BUILD IT BACK TO A NICE STANDARD DEFENDER WITH UP GRADES THAT ARE IMPROVED ON STANDARD ITEMS
Awesome as always. Thanks for sharing and taking us along
Welcome back from your hiatus.
Looking forward to more content.

Cut your losses big fella! No point throwing good money after bad…
Scale back the big red into something that can be workable, and if not…ditch it all together, guilt free. We’ll get over it.
Good to see you back. I'd suggest Big Red isn't modified as much as you intended. Modify it but at a useable standard?
Big red. Sensible build. 2inch kit, narrow 33”…all day long.
good to see Juice back on the YT feed! and another hand raised for a tried and trusted recipe for the redlandy and get the disco going. 2 up & running beats one/maybe one(!) 👍
Scrap the project : get it back on the road !
Hooray your back.
Was wondering where you were, great to have you back, I just have one question though, isn’t that shifter for the ZF 8HP gearbox, not the 6 speed?
Glad your back Sam! I reckon do Big red up tatefully, if your taste has changed and evolved then it makes sense that the build does to! I am stoked to see disco 1 as well !! So glad your back and stoked for the builds to come!!
I really like straight 6 engines. A nice petrol version for my US defender would do nicely
you need to get in touch with the icelandic guys who lift and put massive wheels on defenders they will show you how to go on perhaps a trip up there and talk to the pros make good content
Maybe less extreme and go with a Icelandic style. capable on or off road and still big and tall. cheers!!
On Big Red definitely do a restroom mod type conversion. Current plans means it won’t live a full life!😊
Build big red into an OEM+ style with the weathered and character-filled body retained. Maybe more in keeping with what you will build for customers?
I was just wondering the other day where your videos had gone so it’s good to see the return.
Finally giving me some motivation to get my td5 90 done👌
Hi I would put 37inch wheels on it, that’s quite adequate.
Just run it on 3” with 37s it’ll be lovely
DO IT, you can make the 40s fit!
Great to see you guys back fighting fit. Where the hell have you been?😢 Good to see you guys again.
Sam, for big red, go with what you’re good at, leave patina evidence in place, then the key would be to competition the outcomes, raffle ole big red off 😊
Get some Maer portal axles , easy to do and easy to switch back to standard, also no-one has done a video on it yet.
Keep Big Red alive .
Great to see you guys back! Totally selfish of course because I still have in mind for you guys to build me a fine lady 90 with attitude!!! 😉
Just out of interest, what is the BMW 330D's fuel consumption v.s 200/300 2.5 Tdi?
Maybe expensive, just a thought… Narrowed Dana 60 axles with a 4link coilover suspension.
Good to see you back. What’s the cost for the M57 conversion including engine, box etc? (ie drive in / drive out)
Send us an email if you’re interested! 😎
What is the name of the red colour?
Thank you
Magic blue roll 😮never works like that on my hands 😩
At least Ocean and Miley are still around. They are my favorites anyway! Would love some Range Rover content. L322 is my favorite, but would love to see any of them on your channel!
Where did everyone go?
How much is an engine conversion ?
Wants putting back to standard and use it as a works truck
how do you lock the center diff?
Give big Red the whole package😊
Put Red back to standard plus tweaks, then next project get a 101 forward control.
Should do a proper long arm 4 link with proper hyme joints
What's happening to the classic RR?
Jerk, bout time you dropped another video, I do like the bmw straight 6 but it's hard to beat the td5 growl
Nice watching beautiful content such as yours, where the hell have you been 😊?!
good vid love a defender got one from knew
Put it back to “standard” and keep the character ❤
Odd the staff left - what happened? Tyrant ownership?
I’m thinking 🤔 would my wife let me spend the money on an old disco 😂. It scare the heck out of the boy racers 😊😊 be worth it just for the smiles 😊😊 great to see your all well to 👍👍👍😎
we were worried!
I honestly wasn't a huge fan of the big red series as though it was more refined and high-quality, it felt more scripted. I'm honestly a huge fan of your more go with the flow unrefined content as long as it's shot on good cameras.especially when panning across a scene
Yeeaahhh.. edit that out lol i can still hear the LR from Leigh…
Whatever you decide to do - just SAVE THIS LAND ROVER!
mog axles?
Restore Big Red back to standard PLEASE!!!😢
Marsland it Sam!
I would love for you guys to do a 110 for me
Portal axles!
Put big red back to standard
Maer portal axles 🤟
Make it the fastest defender instead of the biggest 🤷♂️
Привіт з України !😊
4" springs and 37" tires.
\you have to stick to the OG plan. Could you do a youtuber collab with someone like @DirtLifestyle. He makes some epic builds across the pond and designs his own suspension layouts. maybe he could send you some pointers
chuck some portal axels on big red
