Somehow none of the reviews I watched mentions that the case covers the control screen of the camera so it is difficult to read. Also the best feature of the camera "invisible stick" is gone. The stitching algorithm does not remove the bottom part of the case leaving nasty shape in large part of the picture. If you do not mount the camera at the angle on the selfie stick you will not see yourself in the video or on the picture. That shape from bottom part of the case will cover you.
Hi. I had the same experience a couple days ago with the One X2 and dive case. Quite disappointing compared to above water footage. Spent 100€ for a case which gives meh footage and which has no fix. You can reduce case nadir in the software if you select "dive case" but it's still massive. For now, it's as good as it gets.
Is there a way to know when those desiccant strips have lost their effectiveness, like a change in color? Can they be recharged by placing them in the oven like silica gel packets?
How much does the case mess up the picture -- especially the front/back stitching -- when the camera's out of the water? What did you notice then? Or rather, is it essentially perfect in air also?

I’ve got one of the inflatable types. Any idea on Waze that I can attach a mount to that? Looooove turtles. I think they’re my underwater soulmates 😀🕺🏻🎥🏖🇦🇺
Great video, I've been gone for 15 years from the islands and what I notice in this video is that there's hardly any fish . if you live in the Hawaiian Islands maybe the locals need to regulate or ban fishing nets.
Hey David. I like to use the insta360 app on my iPad and the "free capture" tools. It's a bit tedious to transfer large video to iPad then edit so you need lots of storage. But... Using the accelerometer and moving your iPad around to get the fluid framing and movement you want create a better effect than the insta 360 Studio software on PC. I then export the the chosen framed video and edit with my normal Power Director editing software.

If you just want to have fun I can reccomend the Parrot 2.0. Had it for al while but if you want more with filming maybe a secondhand dji phantom 3 on ebay but you have to look good for that price :)
really cool, always a good idea to take out your snorkel out of your mouth though. if something should happen you dont want a funnnel for water to go into your lungs

Yes you can do the oven drying trick. I'd think they'll work a few times otherwise, if you keep the case sealed as quick as possible while they're in.

I think it works as should, looks for sure waterproof. Video is great, no fogging or anything what could reduce quality of video. (Y)

Mounted 90 degree offset would put that case at either side rather than blocking the forward / aft view most used.
