I’m trying to find this case but it isn’t available any longer? The dive case above water shows the edge of the case and ruins the video. Any idea what to do for One X?
I use this in the winter too. To be honest, I use this for any adventure. Like mountain biking or anywhere I don’t trust the the climate to ruin the camera. I use the gopro wrench to really tighten the case. So far no issues.
Great video man! I've actually gone through 2 of these cameras! In fact you can see how it broke in my last video! 😂 I scratched lens and another from the mount breaking (PRO TIP: DON'T KEEP IT IN YOUR BAG WITH SELFIE STICK ATTACHED) SO! Im totally going to buy this case . Thanks Paul!
I might get some 150 grit sandpaper, and carefully roughen up the insides of the gopro mount bits so when the plastic pieces are pressed together, they might slip less. Shouldn't affect the performance at all.
Hey, have you tried the Dive Case yet? What are your thoughts on stiching and rain drops on the Venture Case? Tried it in the rain? I use my Insta360 One X for work and Google Street View footage. I use the Dive Case when it rains and it makes stitching pretty awesome on the side of the camera, but looking downward in a 360 view the case will always be visible. And another con is that the rain drops don't fall that easy off the Dive Case because it's more bulky around the lens. Maybe it will help with a Water Repellent spray or something like the ones used on motorcycle helmet visors.
Interesting. So when you specified to the stitcher that this was recorded with the Venture Case on, you did not need to specify whether the camera was above water or underwater. Did you find the stitching to be decent both in-air and in-water?
Did you encounter any problem shooting with the case under bright sunlight? There seems to have some reviews about the circle of the lens can be oviously visible distorting the end picture. Thanks
Well, the lens of the camera may be protected, but the case is not cheap and if it fell and got scratches, you can not make good shots with it. you can see the scratches on the photos. The case can then no longer be used for taking pictures or filming.
Hello! Thanks for the video, I just got mine and it is a lot bulkier than I thought it would be. I really don't care at all if it's waterproof, because I and many others that want it just want lens scratch protection, I really just need a smaller case for non water protection because Lens replacement I've read is $150.00 plus! anyway thanks for info

If you have problems with the mount bending there is a little bolt inside where you can tightem it with an screw drive and problem solved!

The Friendly Reviewer it fell on the ground (with me on the other side of the stick ;) and it all broke including one of the lenses.

I haven't tried out the Dive Case yet. Looks better once the water droplets fall off of it.
How do you take away the venture case in insta369studio ? when you go 360 ... the venture house is there
