I can’t imagine having the gift Pavarotti possessed. EVERY TIME I hear him, my soul I touched. I don’t care what he sings, I don’t care that I don’t understand a word he says, it’s other worldly! 😍
I close my eyes and let his voice take over my emotions. The music that takes me back is big band, swing music. My parents loved it. My Dad sang and often would grab mom and dance through the living room.
Pavarotti❤️ Bravo! My absolute fav of all times opera singer. The look of gratitude, pleasure and love on his face after ending a performance and recieving the applause blows me away every time. He really really loved being on stage sharing the beauty, and he showed the satisfaction it gave him. I love opera music, and the old masters. Maria Callas, Joan Sutherland and Jussi Bjørling. Bjørlings version of O Helga Natt ( holy night) is going non stop on full blast every December and im not even religious. Callas makes me cry ( i have more than 10 hours of Callas on my Playlist, so i guess i cry a lot??? 🤣🤣🤣😳
This reminds me of a church event I was asked to partake in. Ave Maria was on the music cue and right after I had a solo. The soprano singer performed so beautifully that I ended up in a heap of tears. So much so that when my piece started up I missed my cue ahaha
I appreciate you reacting to Luciano so much, please please do more! This takes me back to church as a kid, but also back to Christmas and listening to Luciano on mum and dads LP player 😇
If you want to listen to more opera, Maybe Il Divo is something you would like. It's a group of four men. One popsinger, one baritone and two tenors. And they sing a lot of covers in Opera style, but also kind of a pop style. Saw them live at a concert, and they are just amazing. Goosebumps everytime I hear them. I don't think I ever saw someone react to them. Check these out if you like: Il divo - Time to say goodbye (con te partiro) (live) Il Divo - Amazing grace Il Divo - My Way (The one in barcelona)
Beautiful reaction to a true legend, when I hear him it always reminds me of my late father who loved listening to Pavarotti on a Sunday morning. Would love to see you react to some of his arias from his Xmas concert in Notre Dame, that was him in his prime! Vesti la Giubba is one that always brings me to tears when Pavarotti sings it, just because of the emotion he pours into it. Keep up the great work.
My story isn't a very heart warming one but its very fucking interesting of how I got in to orchestral music. Anyway it was about 2015 there was this man around the estate who everyone was scared of, he wasn't very big or muscular but he was just a psychopath, no fear or hesitation in his actions. He'd been inside for most of my childhood growing up around the estate but he came back out in my early teens (around 2012) and started selling gear and just running the place. Nobody liked him but everyone acted like they did. I'd like to say I was different but this aint the movies I was a little bitch and I'm not about to have my whole family terrorized just so I can be some kind of hero that stood up to him. Anyway fast forward to when I was 18 and we had a house party going, some shitty Drum & Base music playing and a few people off their heads on different things. This lad everyone was scared of but hated turned up with about 3 other lads and people were annoyed and a few left because they felt there was going to be trouble. Anyway for about 30 mins he just sat on his own looking at people trying to read everyone in the room. Next thing he walks up to the laptop that was hooked up to the speakers and just turns on Pavarotti - Nessun Dorma... We're all like wtf? but dont say anything but a few seconds in I realise he's smiling and by the end it looks like he's about to cry but doesn't and I just realised that this guy was moved by this music and tbh it might have been the beers but so was I... Anyway he's back inside now and I mentioned to my nan about this story and she said he was such a nice lad. (Very fucking surprised when I heard this). Turns out he'd been helping this old woman across the street after her husband had passed and was buying shopping for her and helped a few other old people on the estate out including my nan when she left the key on the outside of her front door and he had knocked to tell her and even said he was going down the shop if she needed anything from there he'd drop it off for her... This guy idk whether I like him or not but he got me into orchestral music.
Time for Skálmöld & Sinfóníuhljómsveit Íslands - Kvaðning. Only if it is to hear you try and pronounce it haha. As a cellist and metal head this one makes me smile. New subscriber by the way. Liking the diversity of your reactions and also the honesty.

Any thing with Jussi Björling is absolutely great opera. I get what you are saying about it just taking you away.
Listen to Panis Anjulicus pav/sting
It is LATIN..Ancies Rome language...
ok meno interruzioni sarebbe meglio e soprattutto ogni tanto serve chiudere gli occhi e ascoltare la musica per capire meglio se ci trasmette emozioni
