From an engineering / design perspective, I notice that a number of these scooters have the deck below the level of the wheel hubs.
That's going to make them inherently more stable since you're effectively "hanging" below the wheel centres rather than balancing above them.

This is well known for over a century. Just take a look a Autoped. But it seems like herd mentality and cognitive dissonance stands in the way of logical thinking, for most e-scooter manufacturers.

In the UK we are supposed to be leaders in protecting climate change. Yet, we allow people to buy full size EVs that destroy environments to mine resources for their huge batteries, but we won't let people use small electric scooters that need a fraction of the resources and energy.

This was a helpful video, but there are some significant negatives about some of the scooters in this list. ❌️
The first scooter is so big that it may as well be a bike, at least you can have a comfortable seat and feel more secure on a bike. Most people choose to get scooters for their portability, which is a reason why a scooter that doesn't fold, such as the second one you recommended, won't be the best option for a lot of people.
The other scooters with bicycle type wheels you mentioned have similar portability issues.
A lot of people have complained about an issue with the Jeep scooter whereby it stops working permanently and an error message appears on the scooter's screen.
The Taur 2 looks really good, but Ride Taur haven't communicated with their Kickstarter backers for a long time-that raises concerns. For example, it might be difficult for customers to communicate with RideTaur after receiving the Taur 2 if issues arise with the scooter or if customers want to make a 'PayYourFine' claim.

@@mawhiuk Most of these brands mentioned have large marketing budgets and I wouldn't be surprised to find out if it's a paid sponsorship. Most likely though, the channel's shop isn't moving too much stock and are therefore trying to increase the hype for these particular scooters.

Oh I feel so sorry for all of you in the U.K.. Where I am in NYC although only UL (Underwriters Laboratories) certified personal electric vehicles can be purchased here as of 2023, there has been an influx of Electric Scooters here, I have 4 personally and ride them every day. The only time I had an issue with police is when I rode over the Williamsburg Bridge and exited the wrong way, I apologized to the officer and got off with a warning unlike others who got tickets. We need more bike/e-vehicle infrastructure here but have some with more coming, and with congestion pricing for motor vehicles in Manhattan, NYC is about to become a haven for PEV riders.

After that in March I bought my e-bike from Ride the Glide here in Victoria BC Canada, I rode over 8,000 km (nearly 5,000 miles) since I bought my e-bike 10 months ago from Ride The Glide (RTG E Bikes). In a few weeks I will need to replace my brake pads, but my tires are still in good condition with thread still. The ability to recharge the swappable battery via usb-c and use it as a powerbank should be copied more in the e-scooter industry. With 2 batteries fast charging becomes obsolete, because nothing is faster than swapping a battery. And it's also a gorgeously designed e-scooter.

Eilis talks way too much. Nobody can catch all the information. Why this huge microphone? And has she really tested any of these scooters?
Scooters have short lifetime. Batteries cannot be changed. Scooters are a waste of resources. Scooters are everywhere in the environment: rivers and so on. A range of 50 kilometers: okay. But who is riding that far? Why a scooter instead of an organic/regular bicycle or e-bike? People want to do something for the climate, environment and their body, but doing something means needing a lot of resources: batteries, cobalt, lithium, aluminum and so on plus a big waste. Doing something for the body means: Driving around with a motor and batteries. Strange. With an e-bike one can at least carry around 1 or more spare batteries plus some bags on a rack and so on.
