Timestamps are off FYI, NIU KQi1/Pro doesn't start until 1:56 but the scooter following is listed at that time, putting everything one off what it should be.
This new "reliability" rating isn't based on any actual real data though. It's just based on features to come up with a POTENTIAL reliability rating. That's a HUGE difference. A true rating for reliability should be factoring in return rates, breakage frequency, and maybe even warranty support (does it get fixed correctly, how long does it take, etc). Obviously companies won't willingly provide such detailed information, so it would likely need to almost entirely crowd sourced. So if you're not going to do that, then you're just giving viewers a false sense of reliability. For example, all of the Apollo scooters in the video have over 9/10 ratings. But nearly every Apollo scooter launches with CATESTROPHIC problems. Do they eventually get fixed? Probably, otherwise they wouldn't still be in business. But you're giving viewers the sense that they're a very reliable brand to buy from based on specs alone. See what I mean?
Since putting all the miles on ourselves wasn't practical and relying on second hand information can also be super unreliable, and hard to get in volume, then modeling based on factors which impact long-term ownership is the best way to go. I spent weeks coming up with the best, most detailed model for reliability that I could make. What I like about this model is that it updates itself every time I add a new scooter to the database, so it's something I can keep using and improving on as time goes on. -Paul
This is not the first time ESG has been explicitly called out on their rating of Apollo scooters. @SirFalconer thank you for pointing this out and suggesting they do reevaluate the reliability rating inputs. Obviously post purchase customer support, warranty and part reliability are the key pillars for reliability ratings. Paul, it not an excuse to say you will keep iterating your website on the reliability ratings after you have posted the video. You are influencing people to buy products. So based on this video Apollo scooter are the most reliable, but the whole industry knows they have many recalls and constant iterations once they release their products. There post purchase customer support is not amazing too. (Speaking from experience)
@@moonwaterz2258 I have been riding scooters since 2020. I do own emove cruiser, vsett 9+, vsett10+, and both segway gt1 and segway gt2. I would not classify this zero experience in an industry that has really truly been around for about 8 years. By the way my channel has nothing to do with escooters and I am not trying to grow it in any way. If you had a great experience with Apollo thats great. But there are also people who did not have the same experience and this has been mentioned on forums and other comments sections. I recommend reddit and facebook forums.
UL safety listing for batteries should be a mandatory requirement for all escooters and ebikes across the board. If they're poorly made from China, should be banned.
I think we're heading that way. I haven't confirmed this, but I've heard a rumor that Amazon requires UL-2272. So the pressure to certify is strong! It's expensive though. I think it costs the scooter brands 10's of thousands of dollars to do it, and then if they make significant changes they have to do it again. Well worth it though, because unsafe scooters could end the whole industry. I was happy to see NYC take a reasonable approach and not push for an outright ban. -Paul
Agree 100%. My apartment building issued a rule that nobody can have an escooter or ebike anywhere on the premises. I told them my ebike (a Jack Rabbit) is UL certified, they didn't want to hear it because of the bad reputation these mobility devices have.
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide Interesting. "significant changes" does that mainly refer to the electronics? Meaning they can change from aluminum to carbon fiber frame and be okay? Can they change from solid wheel to tubeless without re-certification?
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide Exactly. It doesn't take too many apartment fires to bring about a ban. Motorists are jealous of them, bicyclists have to share space with them, people too scared to ride them consider them the mosquitoes of transportation. Not to mention, the psychos who rent scooters for a couple of hours of drunken mayhem tend to be the ones most remembered. Add fire risk & remove overcharge/current protections (on the battery, not just software), and some guy who got a 'rebuilt' battery on the cheap just charcoals his entire building - people aren't exactly impressed. People will ban everything they don't want personally, unless someone sticks up for the industry - and it's not just business owners, but users like myself. I've bought 3 scooters since this time last year & I'll be buying a 4th soon. If people in Toronto do what London, England & Ireland did (limited them all to a pathetic like 20mph), the industry will die, and fast.
@@NunchucksHabitIn your opinion, what would be a good scooter for an average weight/height 12-15 year old (110-120ish lbs)? My biggest concern is balance and repairability. If it breaks down after a month what's the point? Thanks for your time.
You also HAVE TO start doing portability rating. For example. Most that watch you and buy, don’t own cars, and live in CITIES with busses or trains. Demonstrate folding and taking on a bus. Also carrying up apartment steps. THESE tests show actual portability. NOT putting it in the trunk of a CAR.
Interesting idea. We used to do stairs a lot, but didn’t get a lot of feedback about it so we stopped. We try to always cover folding in the reviews. I’m curious if we could come up with a meaningful score for portability since for some it’s mainly weight (stairs), for some it’s length (trunk) and some it’s width (banging your shins on handlebars in an apartment). If we were to score it, I suppose we could use total volume of the largest dimensions, weight and folding time. Maybe score the stem-to-deck latches on ease of latching and probability of unlatching when you don’t want them to. -Paul
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide as you are, from my experience and observation in responding to myself AND OTHERS you have to be SINGULARLY the best doing this, but banging shins on handlebars should only happen ONCE. After that you lean it against a wall or something🤣🤣🤣 Ps like I said, most who buy these DO NOT own a car BECAUSE they live in a city. I’m guessing you’re in SF or surrounding area. Seeing some of the hills and the ocean at the same time gives me that impression. I’m in Philly burbs. Busses galore but not everywhere out here so renting a room( with very limited space, just enough to fold it, lean it against a wall, and plug it in at night) or an apartment building that usually has 3 floors, one downstairs, and 2 floors up. In an actual city around here like Trenton, Philadelphia, NYC, etc there’s stairs to your apartment. For those living in a home, they 99% own cars SND USE THEM INSTEAD. That’s my only point. If reviewers actually thought about these things, this could actually be a viable option as many live close enough to get back and forth on a single charge.
Last video you said you guys had an article with all scooters with the UL certification on your website. I can’t find it though. Is there a link to it?
Yes, I mentioned we were working on it and would post a link when it’s ready, but it hasn’t come out yet. I’ll let the web guy know you asked about it. -Paul
Hope you guys do keep up with the other channel, I'm really interested in the EVs that are more of the high power e-moped and light electric motorbike type stuff.
They also sell a ton of scooters. You'll see similar things for Segway Ninebot, even though they're also one of the most reliable. I didn't pick the scooters, but let the spreadsheet-model pick them based on the 11 factors that we think impact reliability the most. -Paul
I'm a owner of a City Pro. It's been in Apollo service shop for the last 5 months waiting for Apollo to ship the proper parts. I've also had the Ghost which one of the motors was doa. I gave Apollo a chance for the last 2 years. I bought a Kaabo mantis king GT, hands down way better than Apollo. This proves take reviews with a grain of salt and try to test drive before you buy. Also ask your local scooter repair shop which scooters are reliable. They will know the facts. 😁
@@moonwaterz2258think what you think, that's just my experience. If you don't believe, call up promech in Vancouver Canada. They are a authorized Apollo service center. I'm not the only one experiencing problems with the city pro. Apollo has an amazing marketing team and is focused on selling new products. They are not focused on taking care of customers after you have a scooter for a year+. I have 4 scooters and have hands on experience. Just giving my opinion. Take it or leave it.
Eloi (Apollo CTO) really puts his heart and soul into his scooters. As others have pointed out, every scooter can still have problems, but Apollo is doing all the right stuff, especially on their brand new models. -Paul
i gotta say Unagi is sure a lifesaver, i had a emove cruiser and it has been constantly in the shop unfortunately. and i had Unagi for awhile now and over 1000 miles , still no problems, im like wow... what a reliable elegant machine this is, i love the Unagi escooters. but hoping to upgrade one day, to probably a Apollo E-Scooter because it seems they are creating such reliable machines (escooters) as well ! 🥰❤🙏😁✌
short comment here.... it seems your 'ultimate, price is no object' scooter was the Apollo Pro... mine just landed on my driveway on Friday... I haven't even ridden a scooter before... HERE WE GO! Wish me luck.. I'm 63 and don't need to break bones. lol
Would be interested to see a fully anonymous audit of scooter manufacturers (ie. purchase a number of scooters from a single manufacturer, verify quality on delivery, and place a series of customer service and warranty claims to see how they respond). IMO this would be a hugely important metric for something like a reliability score, and it seems like ESG would be the only channel that is dedicated enough to the escooter community and also has the resources to back it up. The consensus on parts availability and delivery times and build quality for household names like Apollo seem to differ wildly depending on where you look. I consider myself to toe the line between a more dedicated escooter fan and a casual one, so it's difficult for me to understand which is the reality.
Wow! Wished I've gotten the Apollo Air instead of the Segway Ninebot F2 Pro this last Christmas but glad the latter made it to the top 5 list in scooters under $800! If I've only came across knowing the Apollo Air before I decided to purchase the Segway F2 Pro I wouldn't have hesitated to choose the former! Well, its better late than never to come across Electric Scooter Guide's channel for me to choose my very next scooter!
@@pharaongaming8617 Purchasing it from NYC, customer service and warranty/protection services for repairs and services are non-existant. Heard horrible tales about customers dealing with horrendous customer service and warranty fulfillment from Segway taking away at least a month of their time and they have to pay for shipping just for a possibility of getting their scooters fulfilled for warranty! Apollo has an easily accessible service center here in NYC and its scooter (Apollo Air) is more durable/water resistant, has higher battery capacity, higher top speed, longer range and has less exposed wires than the F2 Pro while being the same weight and most of all, drum brakes that are far less maintenance intensive compared to the mechanical disc brakes that my F2 Pro has. In fact, F2 Pro's brakes have started to weaken and squeak after riding it in all the snow and slush and I have a commute requiring the use of my scooter or other2ise, I may be inevitably 30 minutes late to home or work if I miss the ferry due to a bus simply being late! I have yet to get it serviced next week and see if I can stretch its reliability further...
Brilliant video I get 32 miles range I've done just over 5,000 km with no problems I have taken my inmotion S1 through a flood😂 I don't think there is another brand of scooter that organises the wiring the same, waterproof wiring no bird's nest of wiring either like a wolf warrior😢 Waterproof battery 😎in an aluminium case Waterproof controller in a plastic case I'm wondering if the in motion RS is the same 🤔
I left a comment a few months ago, as new Apollo Pro owner... and so far, I have only had one 'incident' with it. I locked it (electronically), and when I came out of the store, for some reason, it wanted my Apollo password, which I promptly forgot after creating. lol. I simply had to click a button, and faster than I could open my email, a new password reset code was waiting in my mailbox... it worked flawlessly. (OH, also, Apollo is known for upgrades, in this case, a free upgrade of the stem latch, to make it even more robust than the original. EASY DIY install, with a very good "How To" vid on their site. The only 'issue' I could critique is, it required TWO 5mm Allen keys, and the toolkit only has one set, so I had to purchase another set, since I have noticed from watching a lot of their vids, that there are a few other repairs/upgrades that require two of the same sized key). I can't recommend Apollo enough.✌🏼🇨🇦
i had my gotrax xr elite for 3 years and its literally bulletproof. i bought 2 other scooters in its lifetime that gave out faster than it. i rode it in water higher than the deck in storms and abused it alot. only issues ive had with it is the headlight glitching out, that solved itself in a week, and the tire going bald. i changed the tires to solid tires and its still good like new
My two scooters are the Nui KQI max (daily driver) about 20 miles between charges in the winter and the Inokim OxO (weekend long range runner) 40 miles till battery cut off. both were gotten due to your videos so thanks....
That's a good idea. We'd have to figure out how to format it all so it makes sense. It's actually stack of 17 sheets that feed into each other, but even just the final sheet is like 3 pages wide and 3 pages long. I have sub-sheets for "brand warranty score", "Parts available on website", "serviceability", and then import tons of other data like the IP ratings, UL listings, tire types etc from our main scooter database. -Paul
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide how about a summary page with each brand/model and the final score. The final score can be a hyperlink that breaks down a summary of that specific scooter. That simplifies the largest data (all scooters), with the hyperlink data simplified by only providing details for one scooter. Thanks for the great content!
great review thanks Paul, would the emove touring scooter be ok for a heavier rider, 115-120KG? or is there something else around that price. similiar reliability. thanks.
I would be interested in seeing you guys cover some interesting cheaper brands like Tif Galop and Kukirin scooters, both are certainly budget brands, but both have had a few extremely noteworthy gems that have flown under the radar for too long now, they both deserve coverage to help people know the difference between ones that stand above your current top recommendations by specs for better prices and many owners claiming happy long-term ownership and the ones that aren't worth that bolts that hold them together
Is the emove cruiser UL certified and do you think we will see all electric scooters 🛴 go UL certified due to the whole buildings catching on fire 🔥 and safety concerns?
I have an Apollo Air & I would disagree. I mean mine works, however I when the battery started acting weird I was told I shouldn’t store it in my garage during the winter. Also, I had some issues with the latch mechanism, sent photos of the screws and they sent me a new latch.😮 The customer service is very friendly and I appreciate them. I’m not sure if I would buy this scooter again.
I’m sure both are good. A lot of great scooters were just out of range. Dualtron just didn’t rank high enough to make the list. We haven’t tested any Teverun scooters yet. -Paul

We've had a lot of feedback from the audience that people prefer a scooter channel that's all scooters, a bike channel that's all bikes etc. We're going to keep the new RiderGuide Channel as the central channel that ties them all together, but will have Electric Scooter Guide be the scooter-focused sub-channel, and then add other sub-channels for bikes, e-skates, e-motos and on and on. -Paul
I am going to buy niu Kqi3 max after two weeks is that a right option for me . All i want is reliable vehicle . Less maintenance and all that . Thanks please let me know and what if i buy only kqi3 pro .
the data would be difficult to get, but i would really like to know the average length of time/miles until a scooter need a major replacement (battery, frame, motor, etc) also not sure i completely understand how the new score is calculated. a whole vid on this might help. and what is UL listing?
Yeah, I have to admit, I am running into a lot of issues with my Mantis V2. Rear hub motor I think has a stripped screw, or the beginnings of one. >.> And I've not even hit 1000 miles yet! Makes me worried for the future a little. Front disc rotor is *somehow* bent, it's fairly profound at that because IDK how the hell it happened, but it makes the front brakes almost unusable and borderline dangerous, so I've gotta get that fixed soon, but to do that I have to remove the deck and completely open up the entire scooter's guts because the wire for the motor runs through the center of the disc itself. Brakes on both the front and back are... not distanced correctly and cannot be readjusted as is without swapping out the brake pads themselves, so they scrape lightly as I ride and reduce coasting distance. I've had two popped rear tubes in less than two months, though I am sure the second was because of the horrible roads I had to ride over the week before it happened. I'm... VERY hesitant to recommend anything Kaabo to anyone else right now. I was considering going for a Mantis King GT in the future as a upgrade, but I might end up saving more and just going to Nami instead for the easier maintenance I've seen in other reviews. >~>
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide As far as I can tell it wasn't stripped when I received the scooter itself, though I am still at odds as to how it could have happened otherwise. I always go counter-clockwise to seat the first thread in before trying to screw anything in. I got the replacement part from Fluid Freeride and it was exactly what was needed, so no fault on their end whatsoever. I really is a bit of a gamble with all of these scooters. You guys get cherry picked, perfect designs as review samples to show off, but never see what WE get as customers. Maybe do a secret shopper thing and try to hide who you are when you buy things. Gamer's Nexus does this with gaming PCs from various vendors and resellers and it exposes a LOT of the problems people often talk about. Might be worth checking that out. My V2 isn't falling apart like R9K's original V1 did, but I've run into several issues that are otherwise quite troubling. I've replaced four tubes in two months by this point, all rear tire. Two screws are flat out just STUCK like they were welded in place, one on the right side for the rear suspension spring and the hinge spring, the disc rotor at the front as previously mentioned being warped somehow, the front screws are just as over-tightened so I'll need help breaking the seal on those, etc. It's kinda rough. I would really like you guys to do some kind of secret shopper program on some level to see how these companies actually treat their customers because what YOU experienced with the V2 is not what I experienced, clearly.
Sorry, if i am too annoying.. Making a copy of my comment from your another video: Which one should i buy: NIU KQi2 Pro or Ninebot KickScooter F2 Pro e? I am 185 cm tall and weigh 65 kg. I need a scooter to get to work (one way, 1.6 km). I will ride on asphalt and on a 20-degree slope. Sometimes there is off-road. The range and speed are important to me. I live in Ukraine, so not all scooter models are available for purchase here. But I will listen to your alternatives. I've used scooters before, but I didn't have my own. I care a lot about the things I buy, but I still want something that will last me for a long period of time.
oh snap, ESG back from the dead! i think how low maintenance or how often a scooter breaks down should be part of the requirement. Most importantly customer service; just because a company has a warranty doesn't mean that they always honor it, and having to box & ship a heavy scooter out for repair is a huge pain in the ass.
Maintenance is definitely in there. I haven’t folded in customer service time because I haven’t figured out a really non-biased way to assess service response time that I can keep continuously updated. You’re right though. I think the companies all could use some feedback to know how they each stack up too! -Paul
Isn't the OXO UL-2272 certified as well ? From their website it states "Rest easy knowing this model of OXO is SGS-certified for UL 2272, combining style, performance, and safety".
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide do you have other brands to consider with the same specs of the max pro? With a large deck? Under 1000k or just over? My wife want the seat option too.
I keep waiting for scooters to achieve the level of water resistance my motorcycle has. I’ve been riding motorcycles in the rain for nearly 30 years. Like downpours, and only one bike ever gave me a problem in the rain. We’ll get there. I have to remember that motorcycles have been around for over 100 years. -Paul
Good call out about the NAMI scooters. I addressed this in another comment. It turns out that the Klima MAX actually beat the Segway GT1 by 0.07 and should have made it into the final spot (5th place, so we still wouldn’t have profiled it in the video) of the leader board. Not sure what happened there. -Paul
Hello :) where did you get these tires for the pro at 9:08? I really don't like the street tires that it has, and they are not selling these on their website :/
I was happy to see it on top of the list, because we've seen more hi-mile odometers on Uscooters than any other brand so this helped validate that we're scoring things correctly. -Paul
Hello! I have been wanting to start reviewing scooters in Norway But i have no money to start buying and reviewing them and the marked in Norway is expensive, got any idea on where to start?
Anyone have experience with scooter repairs in Portugal? A local bike shop said they render no assistance (repairs) to scooters… We’re looking to acquire a couple that we can travel (by bus/train) with.
We included the KQi3 Max instead. To me they are basically the same scooter in terms of reliability, but I like the range and performance of the Max, just a little better. Whenever we make a list-video, it’s always a combination of factors in addition to the one main factor we’re measuring. For example the MacWheel pro has amazing range per dollar, but still wouldn’t make the list of best scooters for range per dollar because even though it may win on range, it needs to also win at being a “best” scooter in general. Don’t get me wrong though, the KQi3 Pro is one of the very best. We just like the max a tiny bit better as an all arounder. -Paul
This is the ultimate question. Lighter scooter: air. Better suspension and more tank-like quality: g2. I went with the air as i live on the 2nd floor of my building.
Also how can the Roadster and GTR be reliable when they just released! Thats like saying when VW releases a new model and claims all the electrical issues are gone..are they now?
Since it’s not practical to buy 100 scooters and ride them all 1,000 miles, I’m modeling reliability based on the 11 factors listed in the video, which are all known quantities. -Paul
i do own three of that list, but, I also own a couple that weren't even mention in this video, Dualtrons new line of scooters are way better than old fashion EYE 3 and their sister brand as well
Features don’t really make reliability. Build quality does. Therefore it’s kinda hard to have faith in any type of rating that isn’t based on actual use over time.
That would definitely be better if it were possible to do. Ideally, I'd want 100 models, 10 copies of each model and 1,000 miles of travel on each of those, but I just don't see a way to get real, unbiased use-data. So being a scientist, I did the next best thing, which is to create a model using things which are knowable now and then give the scooters scores relative to each other. -Paul
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide understood. I think there is just a messaging misalignment here. I probably would have called it “projected reliability score” or something along those lines. Not saying it’s intentional but it’s a little bit deceptive leaning as it is worded in your title and vid description. To be fair maybe other reviewers of product do it this way, not an expert here, just giving an honest opinion.
@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide I didn't know what it was initially, so I walked home. (Not too far). Apollo CS did not have a definitive answer about disconnecting the cable.
MetaMoov/ZonDoo should have been on this list. UL Certified, removable, replaceable everything, great customer service, but they aren't some bougie $5,000 brand like these guys like
I feel like I got scammed by Amazon. I bought a Doulve e-scooter, but I think it's just a Chinese knockoff. Hopefully it won't blow up. I can't find any data on it and the brand name is nowhere. It does work though, so we'll see.
That’s like choosing between a Elantra vs a Bentley with those prices you can’t say strand me with a Bentley to get back to civilization tf of course what the people want is proportional price to performance
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuidewhy not? Correct my if I am wrong but the Segway Gt2 has almost every piece built from the ground up and it’s also the safest scooter when going fast, plus everything is super high quality. For me is the best scooter out there.

(Speaking from experience)
what CATESTROPHIC issues have Apollo had?
@@moonwaterz2258 I have been riding scooters since 2020. I do own emove cruiser, vsett 9+, vsett10+, and both segway gt1 and segway gt2. I would not classify this zero experience in an industry that has really truly been around for about 8 years. By the way my channel has nothing to do with escooters and I am not trying to grow it in any way.
If you had a great experience with Apollo thats great. But there are also people who did not have the same experience and this has been mentioned on forums and other comments sections. I recommend reddit and facebook forums.
I'd highly encourage keeping a team to do part time FB Group scours and see what the actual issues are..also..why no Nami?@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide

ESG are the Best... No other escooter reviewers holds a candle to them !
Hey Paul! 😎Thanks for yet another feature. Stoked that ESG is back!!
Awesome! Thanks for stopping by.
After that you lean it against a wall or something🤣🤣🤣
Ps like I said, most who buy these DO NOT own a car BECAUSE they live in a city.

Paul, you are such a delight to listen to. Thanks a bunch. 💜
Wow, thank you!
All I read online is that Apollo scooters have tons of issues, yet you guys give them tons of praise...
They also sell a ton of scooters. You'll see similar things for Segway Ninebot, even though they're also one of the most reliable. I didn't pick the scooters, but let the spreadsheet-model pick them based on the 11 factors that we think impact reliability the most. -Paul
Couldn’t agree more my friend just had the Apollo pro delivered he’s annoyed at the issues out of the box
What sort of issues with the Pro. I own the chrome one we used in the second Pro review we made. Mine has been fine so far.
Take it or leave it.
glad you switched to Electric scooter guide. coz rider guide was too general term and i thought it was a motorcycle channel!
I’ve really missed it! -Paul
I can't wait until your Apollo Go review comes out. That will likely be at top of the reliability rankings as they really focused on reliability
I'm 63 and don't need to break bones. lol
Good luck! Stay safe out there.
Thanks for the suggestion!
Thanks for all the hard work and great breakdown! How is Chuck doing?
Chuck is doing great! I haven’t told him yet that ESG is back. I think he’ll be happy. -Paul
Segway Ninebot reliability is also very very good! -Paul
What's wrong with F2 Pro?
Brilliant video
I get 32 miles range
I've done just over 5,000 km with no problems
I have taken my inmotion S1 through a flood😂
I don't think there is another brand of scooter that organises the wiring the same, waterproof wiring no bird's nest of wiring either like a wolf warrior😢
Waterproof battery 😎in an aluminium case
Waterproof controller in a plastic case
I'm wondering if the in motion RS is the same 🤔

I bought the very first gen Kaboo Wolf King. It needs some work on the back tire, brakes bled, but oh Hell yes I am excited
Will you be listing the full spreedsheet on your website? It would be good to look into specifics of scooters that didn't make the top 5 and see why.
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide really keen to know where this got to? Would be very useful!
great review thanks Paul, would the emove touring scooter be ok for a heavier rider, 115-120KG? or is there something else around that price. similiar reliability.

A brand that sells spare controllers, displays and tires on their website at a reasonable price would have 99% chance to have me as a customer.

@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide so which one do you recommend? (I've watched the video)
The thing with reliability is a large factor for it is the rider. how they drive and driving habbits aswell as maintence.
Is the emove cruiser UL certified and do you think we will see all electric scooters 🛴 go UL certified due to the whole buildings catching on fire 🔥 and safety concerns?
Not UL certified but has top notch battery brand and no issues.
-Paul

Hi, what do you think of the IsInWheel S9 Pro for just $279? I'm trying it now, I like it... Thanks
We have not reviewed that brand!
What sort of issues, other than the stripped screw. Was it stripped when you received it? -Paul
I'd like to know what your thoughts are on INMOTION Climber and the KUKIRIN G2 Max, they are under the $1000 price range
We have not tested either!
Sorry, if i am too annoying.. Making a copy of my comment from your another video:
Which one should i buy: NIU KQi2 Pro or Ninebot KickScooter F2 Pro e?
I am 185 cm tall and weigh 65 kg. I need a scooter to get to work (one way, 1.6 km). I will ride on asphalt and on a 20-degree slope. Sometimes there is off-road.
The range and speed are important to me.
I live in Ukraine, so not all scooter models are available for purchase here. But I will listen to your alternatives.
I've used scooters before, but I didn't have my own. I care a lot about the things I buy, but I still want something that will last me for a long period of time.
Would go with the KQi2 very solid!
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide thanks!
oh snap, ESG back from the dead! i think how low maintenance or how often a scooter breaks down should be part of the requirement.
-Paul

Curious why KQi 3 pro didn't make the list
-Paul

I feel like I got scammed by Amazon. I bought a Doulve e-scooter, but I think it's just a Chinese knockoff. Hopefully it won't blow up. I can't find any data on it and the brand name is nowhere. It does work though, so we'll see.
Return it if it’s Amazon!
That’s like choosing between a Elantra vs a Bentley with those prices you can’t say strand me with a Bentley to get back to civilization tf of course what the people want is proportional price to performance
Dang my GT2 wasn't even on any list
Not this one!
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuidewhy not?
Correct my if I am wrong but the Segway Gt2 has almost every piece built from the ground up and it’s also the safest scooter when going fast, plus everything is super high quality.
For me is the best scooter out there.
@@ts1560 yup most solid most stable crazy tq and very safe to ride never wobbles or gets shaky I can set my cruise to 40+ mph and ride with one hand and text with the other and I still believe it has the best stem lock
@@jadenweaver7529 it’s also very reliable mine is at 2500 miles trouble free without any service not even brake pads.
Would love a scooter to get to work if you ever have a giveaway ❤❤❤
Where are you located? -Paul

I'll volunteer to ride all those hours for you just send me a scooter every so often and I'll give you feedback no problem buddy That's what I do
I’d go with the Rion in your stranded scenario. Those things are so expensive and hard to get, that I’d take my chance with it 😉😆.
Ha ha! That's a hard-core approach, but I get your point! -Paul
Unfortunately, doesn’t account for factory QC. As with everything today, Chineseum causes lots of problems, and unless you have the leverage of a company like Apple, the factory will tell you to go pound sand. I miss the days when the Japanese made everything. Their hyper-conscientious nature trickled down to mundane factory work. The Chinese…not so much.
Thanks for the feedback!
I own the Apollo Go I am picking up the Apollo Pro tomorrow 🛴
