If you really watch football and know the Ps and Qs of a specific position then you can flat out see that even with an amazing Offensive line Priest Holmes was a really really REALLY good running back. Thanks for the memories Priest.. much love and like always......... #ChiefsKingdom 🤜🏾🔥🤛🏻
I believe it was 1998, my first year playing fantasy football (we had to do the stats manually from box scores, there was no Internet) and I forgot to set my lineup Week 2 or 3 and got to pick up Priest Holmes off the waiver wire. The league was mad at me. I then had Randy Moss, Holmes, and Terrell Davis. I won the league!
Imagine Maholmes, with Priest Holmes in the backfield, Will Shields, and Willie Roaf blocking, and throwing to Tyreek Hill, Dante Hall, Tony Gonzales, and Travis Kelce.
My favorite running back watched him beat my giants in the Super Bowl with the ravens and was in high school when he killed the league with the chiefs 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
Always thought Ravens made a big mistake by choosing Jamal Lewis and letting Priest leave in free agency.Remember going to a Monday night game with Ravens against the Bengals where he had 180 yards or so.His vision and patience overwhelmed me.He did have a thousand yards one year with Ravens(when Lewis missed year with torn Acl).Great video!
This dude was so explosive it looked sped up at times... Damn i didnt know he was that good. If you out the running backs of that era in this generation they would dominate
I'm gone make his video........I just hate to use some else's footage.... I at least try to use 80% of my own footage especially when other people videos has music playing during the highlights........
Why does early 00's footage look like it's from the 80's. I KNOW it didnt look that bad back then and that's not just my skewed perception. There was a huge difference back then between picture quality of 2000 and 1980.
For running and receiving yes, but Holmes was better in the endzone than Faulk. If Holmes didn't have back problems that cut his career very short, he might have been the only runningback who could have broken Emmitt Smiths td record.
Hearing Chris Berman and that NFL Primetime music brings back so many childhood memories.
Who you telling bro
“Whoooop!”
“He’s a bad ‘Ma’Afala!’”
“HE COULD…GO…ALL…THE…WAY!”
Are my 3 favorite ‘Berman-isms’, Hell “Football-isms” of all time! Berman+Madden
One of my favorite RB's growing up.
This was MY favorite running back growing up
Gotta give that chiefs line some credit they were beast not to mention Richardson great recording thanks for this Holmes my fav rb
LOVED Priest Holmes!! LOVED him!
One of my favorites. Wish he had a longer career.

you so real for having this footage.
thank you...........and shid homie I been recorded highlights since I was 9 yrs old........
Jsn Walker what's the best way to contact you. I love to interview you for my podcast.
Jerrell Leeper isnt he tho !!!
Best RB in the league for a couple of seasons. Great power for not being a huge runner!
No rb in history has put up better stats in 3 consecutive seasons than Priest..
I'd love to see him play again!
I am a huge KC fan thru and thru…
Just imagine if KC could have had Priest as an offensive weapon with Mahomes and Hill…
Imagine Maholmes, with Priest Holmes in the backfield, Will Shields, and Willie Roaf blocking, and throwing to Tyreek Hill, Dante Hall, Tony Gonzales, and Travis Kelce.
@@PrinceK2007 would be a dream come true!
If we still had Kareem Hunt!!!
My favorite running back watched him beat my giants in the Super Bowl with the ravens and was in high school when he killed the league with the chiefs 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
I didn't know of Priest Holmes till Kansas City
He was a different RB with the Cheifs. Bigger stronger and faster.
I remember this guy he's was great for couple of years
Man laced us with the prime time highlights as well 🔥 and lmao @ Chris berman 7:07
Trent green out here throwing monster blocks💀

I really don't think they knew Priest Holmes was going to be as good as he was.......It would of been amazing if they kept both of them.....
Jamal was a rookie after the Super Bowl and priest needed to be paid. 1st round pick vs undrafted RB
He had I believe 223 or 224 yards against the bengals that night and 3 TDs it was a team record until lewis !
Jamal still is one of the only backs with 2k yards so I think they got it right regardless
One of my favorite RB's growing up! Priest Holmes always gave my Packers the business.
"Priest Holmes, make him the pope" 😂
Jsn Highlight are the best highlights !!!
Under Vermeil the offense was potent. Tony Richardson made Holmes look good as well as the offense line. Fun times back then.
Facts....
Yea this was up to now the funnest chiefs team to watch what if Holmes at mahomes as a qb
#1 RB in Kansas City Chiefs History. PERIOD.
No disrespect to Damien Williams.
Jamaal Charles 😭
@@whoisthedeepstate7852 Riiiiight....
Yeah you must have just started watching football the same day you posted this...

Ozzie newsome can find undradted talent wow. Wish he had stayed in Baltimore.
Priest Holmes should be hall of famer right now
He was nasty in The NFL2K games 😂😂😂
And never talk shit on QB Green. OUT THERE BLOCKING FOR THE PRIEST! 6:25
Chris Berman will always be the goat of NFL announcing/commentating
One bad dude
Thank goodness he got out of that awful purple jersey and got some respect in KC.
One of the most proficient offensive lines in NFL history, both pass and run blocking.
My favorite back growing up next to Jamal Lewis
Those chiefs teams during his 3 year stretch definitely were missing some rings. Dante hall and Tony Gonzalez were on those teams as well
How did all the NFL teams not draft this guy?
he was injured alot at Texas, and so Ricky Williams took the starting job and won the Heisman.
That cut at 2:12 was ridiculous
12:14 was the end of Priest Holmes....
his hip like bo Jackson
No, it was the game where Shawn merriman nearly broke his neck. He played in just a fee games after that until his doctors told him he was done.
Hmmm, that #49 sure seemed to be in on a lot of those big plays. I wonder if he was any good. Maybe I should ask Ray Lewis.
“A guy named Priest should be good on sundays”
💎
bro u should do Isaac Bruce
I did........Check out the Greatest show on turf
+Jsn Walker I meant strictly him tho but I fucks wit ya vids
The first part is just him....
+Jsn Walker ok cool my fault bro
You gotta do Larry Johnson
BO JACKSON NEXT!!!!
I'm gone make his video........I just hate to use some else's footage.... I at least try to use 80% of my own footage especially when other people videos has music playing during the highlights........
I was at the game when shawn merriman nearly killed him.

RAY RICE!!
😱😱😬
He wasn't no Marshall Faulk

Factz 💯 Faulk was different
He not that good it's his O-line
Eureka Opium look at his production after contact and reavalue what you said. he was talented plain and simple.
@erikd131 He's shit
@erikd131 Yeah no kidding, with four Hall of Famers blocking. He's shit.
@erikd131 He did nothing before.
@erikd131 LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL EIMITT SMITH THE GREATEST RUSHER OF ALL TIME????? I'M DONE/
