- I made this video in 2009, before the Cleveland Cavaliers 2016 NBA championship. To many people, there was an alleged curse on the city of Cleveland, Ohio that prevented them from winning a major sports championship from 1952-2016. Until June 19, 2016, it was the biggest sports championship drought in any U.S. city. The previous Cleveland title came in 1964 when the Cleveland Browns won the NFL Championship. Among locals and even sports fans in general, The Catch, The Drive, The Fumble, and The Shot all evoke images of Cleveland sports futility.

I wish we'd never won the 2016 NBA Title. After all the misery, and especially attending Game 7 of the '97 World Series in Miami, I always thought when we finally won a championship it would be amazing, iconic and timeless - I felt nothing! We welcomed back a traitor like a bunch of desperate and pathetic fans.

•Screw the Cavs and their '16 Title.
