Powertribe - circa 1996 - Live At Rookie's Sports Bar - New Iberia, LA

Powertribe was a Lafayette, LA based metal band who began as the thrash metal group, R.I.P. in 1988. The band played into the early 2000's, after various line-up changes, before disbanding. This video (converted from VHS) features original members, Kevin Hulin, Darren Benoit, and Mike Norse. It also features latter members Wells Cornette and Blake "Poochie" Plonsky. Musically, this was the band's heaviest line-up, as the writing team of Hulin/Norse took on a darker, heavier, and groovier direction.
