I've been wondering how to stop or pause the recording button, and later continue recording. Thank you 🙏👍 so much for pointing it out, it truly helps to understand.
High-Quality mode gives you better night shots with less noise, so it's great for that. During the daytime, you're not going to see any difference between battery saver or HQ modes. I only use my Pocket with the do-it-all handle mostly because it adds enough length so I don't have to worry about covering the built-in mics. I prefer the built-in sound to the wireless mic unless it's a windy day.
Excellent set of tips and tricks, efficiently presented. What can I add.... some users might not know that if you slide your finger up and down the right edge of the screen, you get zoom, or you get tilt, depending on how the joystick function is set. (For instance, if the joystick is on zoom, then the finger swipe gives you tilt). Also, if playing back a video on the device, volume of audio replay through the tiny speaker in the do-it-all handle, or through the mic in/headphone out socket, is controlled by up and down swiping in the middle of the screen. Cheers!
Hi Peter, how have you been! nice additions. I didn't mention the joystick (zoom and tilt) since I've covered that a few times already, but yeah it definitely belongs on the list. Hope you are doing well!
great list of good recommendations as far as I can tell/ One issue though is that the extension pole recommended here gets a few relatively low recommendations from reviewers claiming that the build quality is not satisfactory. Some of them say that the pole collapsed after a few days of usage.
🤣🤣🤣 Otto! I had that EXACT look of disgust on my face every time I turned on this baby beast and it went directly in to selfie mode! A HUGE thank you for that first tip! I already switched to 60Hz for the flicker. Now I'm going to turn off "high quality" and see if that helps with the heat and battery life. This thing gets very hot, and I shoot 1080p exclusively. The jury is still out on whether I'm keeping it. 👍👍👍
