And one of the predictions I have for Susano'o Wanting to fight humanity specifically okita is I believe that in his eyes okita is the culmination of swordsmanship within Japan when he started kenjutsu. He hoped 1 day he would face what is everything that is swordsmanship in Japan and basically all his Pride and joy his work in effort all being the creator of kenjutsu. It's why he was so excited to finally face his human equivalent as the greatest man slayer being the only worthy adversary for the greatest godslayer

I think Round two is a perfect reflection of the story. Imagine the Gods win but its by one round. We think the humans win (Adam) but the Gods win (Zues) pull through in the end but that respect is there. Ragnarok end not with humans losesing but with the Gods understanding. And maybe just maybe they will continue Ragnarok. Like Imagine Zues is like "that was fun let's do it again in another 1,000 years!" That would be cool in my opinion.

Personally I Don't want another Ragnarok, it can only take away one's life. there was no victory or fun in the first one, if you're going to have a fight. then do so where everyone can live, don't treat life too cheaply and leave it where nobody will die.
The fact that Adam body kept swinging even when he was already dead, show how powerful a human willpower can be when they fight for what they love and care for. For Adam, his love for his children that made him fight harder then he ever did in the past.

I had a theory on why Zeus is old. The theory on why he's old was because of Hypnos! Why? Simple if you know the myth he did something to annoy Zeus and when zeus tried to kill him Nyx the primordial goddess appeared and Zeus out of fear used his full power of adamas on her but faild so bad it made him old and Nyx speared him out of pity! That could be the reason.
I always wonder what would happen if Adam went first before the gods had a chance to see humans could hurt them. I am wonder if he would have taken Thor's place against Adam then. It would have led to a very different start of ragnarok.
I think Zeus is going to intervene in Odin's battle with Buddah and Beezlebub. I think tensions between those two are at an all time high and they may soon come to blows. I could see Zeus actually dying by Odin behind the scenes of the tournament maybe with the assistance of Thor who's been patiently waiting almost as if he's waiting to strike and fight again, we just don't know why yet. The Norse are plotting something huge

Zeus knows that he could have died, knowing that only pure change stopped him from losing. Now where they are the gods now that they can lose, but are they even gods? A god is omnipotent,omnipresent and all powerful but no “god” is Zeus knows this, it’s almost like gods are human. Going back to the story of Adam, who was made in whose image? If the gods dislike humanity so much and humans were made in their image then they hate godhood.
I actually had a general theory about this. Entire manga asca whole. One of course eastern views of god are much different that western , with the idea that mortals can triumph over God being prevalent. But even more so if you look at Zeus in Greek myth he is not only king of the gods but father of heros. In a sense I believed from the beginning he is playing both sides. Humanity better learns the nature of the gods and the gods gained a newfound respect for humanity.
All i can say is that Zeus is not the purest example of the Gods in ROR, because he does not define them as a whole. All Gods are different in their own way, and while they do look down on Humanity. Not all of them do exactly, and all have their own opinions. Like I said, the Gods aren't evil in the sense. they have their loved ones, they have their own goals, they have their own interests. they are a reflection of Humanity, they just don't want to admit it. with the death of his Brothers, his son. Zeus might believe that gods are not so invincible and they too can get hurt. Zeus took too much for granted and now he has lost everything and is truly alone in the Universe. He might still have Ares, Hermes, and Adamas. But the level of love and respect coming from his lost loved ones can never be replaced. Adam for him Zeus is like his father and he loves him the same, fact is he might even love the gods more. they created him, so they are like his parents and they are grateful. Humanity in my opinion does not deserve to win, they should not be wiped out but should not win because it will never change them. The Gods should not win either because it will not change anything. Nobody deserves to win because Life is the true winner and Life should be respected and cherished. @SephTheSin, I appreciate you for writing this, But to me I think both sides should just stop to ask the question, what is the value of life.
I love this perspective and this more sympathetic interpretation of the gods, at the end of the day though I don’t really see the story ever focus on this in any meaningful way, the gods are again and again picked apart, but it just never happens with humanity even with Jack in R4 the flaws of humanity are never really commented on, I try to interpret what I think the authors are trying to tell through their story (of course that’s subjective in concept so any other interpretations are just as valid as mine) and to me the story seems to be a love letter to humanity rather than a critique of it, I mean Hades just wanted to protect his family but that shackled him and led to his loss, it’s basically the same as Adam but the way the story presents the 2 is very different, again I’d love for the god characters to change and a more nuanced discussion to be had on humanity but the story I’m reading just doesn’t to me seem interested in exploring any of those ideas
I Have Always Wondered how poseidon would interact with zeus it clear he respects hades he hates adamas but zeus and poseidon had never interacted with eachother i want to know there relationship do they hate eachother or respect eachother
I plan to discuss this a little in my Poseidon video, but I imagine he’d like Zeus more than Adamus, he hated Adamus for scheming, rallying support and building an army which went against what he believed a god should be, he respected Hades on the other hand because he fought alone and once he said he’d do something he would do it no exceptions, basically Hades fit the bill for what Poseidon viewed as a true god, Zeus wanted to be the strongest so killed his father he much like Hades is a beacon of individual strength who does things without a need for support or schemes, based on that I reckon Poseidon would respect Zeus for being a proper god in his eyes one who became king through power not through schemes, that’s just my two sense though

No the only chief gods in the series we know of are Zeus, Odin, Shiva and Hades, basically it’s reserved for the heads of pantheons and Hades cause he rules one of the 3 realms of existence
I was team 'tie' during round 9 (even though i was warming up to apollo towards the end) Because i was on team 'zeus will have to watch all of his family die before his eyes because he was impatient and arrogant for taking shiva's turn' But i find the result of round 9 acceptable too
