Man I’m so tired. My knees hurt. Nobody would know if I didn’t do it” and so on.. then he listens back to that tape recording, thinks about who he would be if he listened to that voice, and starts to get upset at that little voice for even thinking it had a right to speak. This is not true at all. You can achieve temporary discipline without drive. But you can not maintain discipline without drive, that drive may be conscious or in the background. But you need a reason to keep doing what your doing or that's insanity. You seem have things driving you that your not fully aware of.

Not a bad idea honestly. For me, i was struggling to find motivation. Just do 20 pushups an hour. Every hour you're awake, every day. Get started and helps get into that mindset. You will progressively move into bigger goals very quickly.

I can say he is all right about recording your self, I started my routine about 2 months ago, and I said to my self, im gona record me every day during the first month, the first 2 weeks were hard, waking up at 6:00, working out 20 minutes right after getting off bed, preparing to go to school and studying, but after 3-4 weeks of recording my self, my body was waking up by its own and doing it automatically, like if I was programmed or something, and I must say that this wasnt my first attempt of changing my mornings, but it was the first time I recorded my self do it

I even didn’t mind or actually almost like the chosen for this clip with the ambient and ominous feeling it gave. What I didn’t care for, however, was how the clip ended. Goggins probably had something way more profound to say than “my woman is with me “because I’m the man””. Could’ve ended the clip with him saying anything better than that as it also didn’t really give a rounded out answer to the young man’s question
