- I am trying to use up all my beauty products, throw out the expired stuff, and clean up and minimize my beauty shelf. I went through a period when I was using a lot of temporary tints and this Kristen Ess Spray Tint was a holdover. I like it, but I don’t like that it’s a process for me. I think it’s supposed to be used over bleached hair, not healthy gray hair.
This video was completely filmed and edited on my iPhone 13 Max using mostly the front of my phone, as it was very impromptu - Хобби
I'm gonna go pink again after seeing your pretty rose pink hair❤️🩹💗💗
Do it! It would look so pretty on you,
Do it do it!
😂😂😂 Love your hair but even more I love that you were tramping around the yard in your robe and shower cap. You had me smiling the whole time. I had to subscribe. 😀
Thank you so much! I’ve been running this channel as mostly a whole food plant based cooking & healthy aging, but content like this is my most popular, it’s got me rethinking…. Maybe I need to balance cooking with other fun stuff like fashion shows, simple beauty routines, hula hooping & fitness routines mostly based on play? I am filming a fashion show today based on dressing for our inner child.
My friend LeAnne and I go live every Thursday at 3:00 eastern on our podcast here called unfiltered after 50 and we have so much fun doing it. There’s a few episodes uploaded already.
Thank you so much for your kind comment and helping to support my channel, I really appreciate it.
Looks cute!
Thank you!
I think it looks fantastic. The color really brings out your eyes
Thank you so much!
You look beautiful! Love the color❤
Thank you!
I think it looks great!
Thank you
Looks great, I want to grow out my grey. Right now I'm grey blending, but I'm very tempted to stop and let it go cold turkey.
Thank you! Yeah, I did all the things. I gray blended then dyed over it, I thought I was toning it but made it dark purple. Then I bleached it out and toned it and surprisingly looked really good, not gray, but a Farrah Fawcett ash blonde, it even pulled my highlights through and then I just went shorter and shorter to get to that demarcation line. But then one day, I just chopped it to an inch of its life. I don’t regret any of it. the pixie stage was enlightening and I both hated it and loved it. It’s nice to know that I can cut all my hair off and it would be okay. I learned a lot about myself.
I think my hair has been gray for 6 years and in terms of hair, best thing i’ve done. It’s such a mental load relief. I could go on and on lol! Good luck on your journey. Have you checked out @Katiedgoesplatinum
You hair is beautiful
@@SteviesEarthBasedKitchen I have, lots of great information, thank you!
Been rose gold a couple years now - I love it - fun and sutle - nice job!
What do you use? On gray hair or bleached hair?
I love it ❤.
pretty
I am at such a difficult phase it feels like in my “graying transformation”. I still have more color in my hair than I do gray, but I can definitely see so much gray in my hair. I would love to just embrace my gray and be done with it, but i wonder if it would look like a mismatched mistake as it grew out. Btw, u look stunning friend ❤
Very pretty ❤
Thank you so much.
The final result is lovely, but when you were no make-up or hair colour you have a look of a young Louise Fletcher.
I want to dye my hair light pink. It's white in the front and salt and pepper at my crown. Help me have confidence. Will this wash out eventually? It's a semi-permanent pink color...
You're really gorgeous. Hair is beautiful. Do you straighten it at all? 💕
@@Zoe-dr5ps You are so sweet! Thank you. No, I don’t straighten it, since going gray my hair barely holds a curl. it’s quite straight. Less frizz than when i was coloring too.
You're funny and lovely. 😊
Ah! Thank you!
Hi, does this wash out after first shampoo? New to your U-Tube have you ever dyed your hair before with the permanent color or just naturally gray.
Hi! Welcome Mary! This mostly washed out with one shampoo, there is such a slight phantom hint left that you stop seeing after you stare at it.
It will be gone by the next wash, but I also did not follow the instructions, I put a cap on my head and let it soak in for an hour. The instructions say to leave on for only a few minutes.
I also did a video where I used Pink Overtone and I got a similar result using the same technique: washing my hair first, drying it, applying the color and leaving it on for an hour and it lasted a month.
I did dye my hair in the past and I uploaded a few videos showing all the colors and transitions, they go back a couple of years. I call my hair virgin because it’s all new hair.
@@SteviesEarthBasedKitchen Thank You!
I love it but it looks more like a light lavender than a rose gold.
I know it kind of does, doesn’t it. I think these products depend on there being a natural warmth to hair, mine is not so warm anymore.
@@SteviesEarthBasedKitchen well it looks great 👍🏼
Does this just last until you wash it?
Hi! I really think it depends on the porosity of your hair and how you apply it. My hair doesn’t grab the color very well so I have to apply it on clean dry hair and leave it on for an hour to make it stick. It mostly washes out the first washing and all trace of it is gone by the 3rd. I recommend overtone pink if you want something more lasting. Those are the only two I’ve tried. I would be cautious of Overtone “Rose gold.” The warm tones can stay in silver hair.
@@SteviesEarthBasedKitchen thanks ! I’ve tried overtone espresso which fades my silvers to a light golden ( I’m salt and pepper ) and overtone black , which is basically purple which fades to a light lavender and then back to silver. I like to mix them together for a nice color…. I bought the blue and also the magenta but haven’t tried them yet! I still have about 70-80% dark hair color so the color acts more like “ highlights”
How old are you?
I am 52
