very helpful video, i'm planning to visit seoul in april 2016 and i wonder if they would still be selling those cold weather clothes, i wanna buy some to bring back to NJ
Hello, there^^ I enjoyed your video about Dong daemun market record. I just want to add some train information on it. If you want to go to Dondaemun market from Incheon airport by train, there're no direct trains . First of all, you have to go to Seoul station and then transfet line No.4 to Dongdaemun station. If you stop by the express train counter or travel center in Incheon airport, you can purchase combination ticket . Moreover, if you want to purchase more than 3people, you'll get a group discount as well. Have a geat day^^
I've watched some of these videos and was wondering if the market places like this run on the barter system or do they have set prices? Just wondering because there is sooooo much stuff!
He only walked through one row of stores. There are many rows like this in the market, and two more floors above ground level. But even though these stores sell to individual customers, they are mainly wholesalers and factory showrooms. They will become serious only when you are interested in buy dozens at least. They supply many independent clothing stores all over Korea.
+S SohWhen I was a child, I used to go there w/ my parent in 1960s, But, present looking is nothing different. I'm very curious, how can they survive in so many stores.
Wow! that's the kind of place where you find EVERYTHING and it doesn't look expensive. What happens if there's an earthquake or fire? do they have emergency exits or something?

Quite a lot of products sold in Korea are from China, especially in these clothing markets. Some also come from Vietnam.
