- Today we go shopping at Namdaemun Market (남대문시장) in Seoul! I give you a walking tour of South Korea's oldest traditional market. It is both indoor and outdoor, so it's open rain or shine. We take a look at souvenirs, clothes, wrapping paper, Korean food, and more. Watch the video to see the action unfold :)

As a Canadian, in a place like that, I'd constantly be saying "oh I'm so sorry!" Even if someone bumped me.
Sara Same with me as a Swede. I apologized so many times after bumping into people in Seoul. Usually they first turned around and looked at me as I was somekind of crazy person, but then they smiled. I guess they were so surprised that anyone apologized at all.
Irish people do the same.

6 years in Korea, 3 in Seoul. Namdaemun was easily my favorite area. I love alley food!
I loved this! This was like traveling but it was free. This is the best video I've seen where someone gives information that otherwise we would have no idea about. From the tiniest detail (where the chop sticks are) to what stop on the train she has to go to. This is my first time watching your videos and I'm hooked. Very easy to relate to, charismatic, and articulate. Really awesome video. Thank you.

I like getting lost in Namdaemun too! You did a good walk through. My favorites are Alpha Office and Art Supply store, the flower market on the 3 rd floor of the green building (next to the orange building) , the pot stickers and buns you can buy on a main, north-south walk way near the subway entrance 5, buying scarves on sale for 2,000 won. I am still looking for the vendor who sells oilskins purses and wallets in a basement building.....I hope I find it before I have to move home!

Watching this video reminds me of the markets. I am a craft nut and visit Seoul often to shop in Nandaemon. Inexpensive and so many choices. It is my candy store. I miss it but travelling is not possible now.

There's a 남대문시장 in a Koreatown in Georgia! I didn't know it was a chain supermarket kinda place. It isn't as open with as many places to eat though. It's more similar to a Wal-Mart or something.

Miss Mina! Have you thought about getting long Beach wave spiral perm! Past videos, you had Modonna on your cell phone. You should try the wave like hers! Not too curly! It is low maintenance and can go wash and wear. Specifically, good for hot and humid summer weather in Korea and other hot countries. Ahjumma suggestion only! I been meaning to ask you, which face mask you suggest is the best.
