Another classic KD vlog, Anselm. Transportation challenges abound. Old friends meet-up and reconnect at nearby eateries. New friends are so welcoming. This trip, the colorful Water Boat Parade made it unique and unforgettable. ... Zamboanga, Tawi-Tawi, et al is a special place. When those COLORS of all shades, patterns and vibrancy dance in front of you, one can only SMILE and be HAPPY!!! 😊 😄 🥰 Thank you for taking us along, Kumander.
Exactly!!!! Hoping this cultural dance , boat floats will finaly gets the grand champion of Aliwan Fiesta ( National battle of champions of festivals champions ) .... long deserved.
Amazing travels Kumander Daot. I am from the Philippines but I have never been to places that you have had been to. Some dangerous places thought by majority of Filipinos from the Northern Philippines you prove them wrong. The people of these places are wonderful and the cultures are well preserved, the colorful festivals and the foods are simply extraordinary. Thanks for reminding me that the Philippines is not just Manila or Cebu. You did a great job of showing to the world the little known places of the Philippines. Keep up the good work. I keep watching your blogs ever since and for some time I forget about it and watch again and you continue to amaze me coz you keep improving every time becoming more and more adept and highly technical just like watching a documentary from National Geographic.
OMG!!! A BIG big Thanks K. Daot for showcasing this ! LEPA Festival of boats in Tawi Tawi!!! Its lively and colorful regatta . I never know of this, I will mark on my calendar . National tourism , not only local should strongly promote this one. Yearly , i watch Aliwan Fiesta , and one time , those dance steps feautured here was also showed in Aliwan . It was soooooo gracefuL!!! , synchronized , beautifuly executed and delivered , and as spectator , you feel as if your one of them . The culture is concisely delivered . I went home with expectation they captured the grand champion , but sadly not.
I'm so happy to see you enjoying the company of the people of TawiTawi. I also love their arts and crafts. Wish I can purchase some of those also for myself. Mabuhay to the people of TawiTawi!
I only knew Tawi-tawi in school, to be honest. The place is so diverse! Thank you for featuring it once more KD. The tribes have been there for generations. How I wish to own one of those weaved blankets!
You are such an influencer that you turned a tire repair shop owner into a vlogger. Hahaha! Keep showing us all of those beautiful weavings. They are magnificent! I can't imagine how you don't end up spending all your money on the many beautiful, colorful weavings that you see. The blades that you showed us at the shop were also spectacular. Such amazing craftsmanship is impossible to not recognize. What a great time to be in Tawi-Tawi so you could enjoy the Lepa Boat Festival. The Lepa boats are so beautiful and special.
Salamat sa paghi nimo diri sa Tawi-Tawi to witness the 50th Kamahardikaan sin Tawi-Tawi. I hope you'll be back for the next 51st Kamahardikaan sin Tawi-Tawi. salamat kay naka pa picture nako nimo. Keep safe and Good Health Always .
I love watching your blogs and videos, thank you for sharing this video showing the beautiful culture of Tawi Tawi , their weaving is absolutely stunning and the woodcarving is so unique. You are well loved by those people with your friendliness and your humbleness , look forward for more of your blogs . Watching you from Florida as always 😍
🤩 oh wow, this is the guy who owns the tyre shop, who was a previous OFW nurse and decided to come home for good…. A beautiful testament to beautiful friendship born out of many great adventures full of faith…..more power to you KD 🙏❤️
I hope to see more progress & infrastructure development in this place. So much untapped potential for tourism. Also, the local government should do a better job of educating the masses about the negative effects of littering in the ocean @17:20.
When do these festivals begin, I love to visit Tawi Tawi and enjoy the festival, hopefully I will be coming to Manila, i have visited many times and many different places but not this area of the Philippines.
