The Dumagats are nomadic, kd, hence the constant move. Thanks for appreciating Palanan, it's people, and the Dumagats. Yes, that is the cleanest beach coz it's unexplored! Remember, you are the first popular Vlogger to go there so this is a breakthrough vlog series and you may just be the person responsible for exposing Palanan to the world! Good or bad, we can't complain hehe
You have immersed yourself well in every local community. Being able to speak the language (Bisaya and now, Tagalog), a hearty laugh, and a sensible generosity, break the ice and open a lot doors and hearts. Good job, Anselm. Many thanks for bringing to our living room your adventures to these difficult-to-reach places (we know they exist but we just can't possibly be there during our lifetime). May you enjoy every experience, in every town, and in every village you visit. Have a safe journey, Anselm.
@4:36, these are the indigenous people of the Philippines even before the Malays, Chinese, Spanish, and Americans came. These people here are like to the native American Indians in America. The life in this place is simply beautiful and peaceful seldom captured on camera. Really once in a lifetime experience for Kumander Daot. To be frankly honest, this is the way to discover and enjoy life in the Philippines especially for foreigners like Kumander Daot.
I have traveled all around the Philippines, in remote areas no white man seeing before but never been in those amazing beaches in Palanan. Kudos to you, great adventure!!!!
I am awed. Indeed there are still lots of places to explore in the Philippines.. I am somewhat jealous.. I am a Filipino. Never been to those beautiful white beaches.. Take care KD as you bring us to those places..
My goodness kumander!you went to a very, very nice place although it is still isolated, imagine the tourism potential of that place if only they could build that road ,and make it accessible then it would be like baler, aurora.thank you kumander for this vlog,be safe always.
I'm from Isabela, but I haven't yet visited Palanan and other eastern part towns, wish I could visit them someday. Thanks for visiting Isabela Province Kumander Daot. Shoutout to all Isabelino's specially form the Corn Capital of the Philippines, City of Ilagan, Isabela. DAOT!
KD... what a neat place. Stunning beaches are undeveloped, and the landscape is almost at its natural form. I can almost feel the freshness of the air. Totally awesome adventure...
I am always fascinated with my fellow Filipinos. No matter what nature throws at us, we always thrive. I believe we have inspired you more than you inspired us #KumanderDaot. As you said, you were born in the wrong country. Keep exploring and never worry because wherever you go, a Filipino would always gladly welcome you.
Wow! You're the only one so far who's featured this part of my country Anselm and I am super impressed. I hope the government can finally pour in budget to improve and develop and make this place easy to visit in the near future. Thank you Anselm, for bringing us with you and introducing us to Fr. Sam and Kuya Boy who is very articulate. Good job Kumander Daot. Power On!
So grateful your effort to visit Palanan,Isabela never heard before, your the first blogger to feature that place. The beach is beautiful and dumagats people live simple life.Salamat Sir K.D.thru ure video.were able to watch those places which unknown to us.God blessyour family.Stay safe.❤😊o.f.w Hongkong
So much admiration for you, KD. You are extremely working hard and the fruit of your hard labour show well in the content of all your videos! Love how you document every place you visit. Those people in Palanan are indeed friendly and hospitable. So lovely watching pristine waters and hills around Palanan and Sierra Madre. It reminded me of an old old song, Sierra Madre by Coritha. Watching this video with happy tears as there are still people in the remotest of the remote who are very welcoming to visitors like you. Wonderful😇🌟
This was an excellent video! I moved to the Philippines from the UK 8 weeks ago and I honestly feel it was the best decision I've ever made ❤️🇵🇭 Thanks for sharing!
Wow what a beautiful 🤩 end places in the Philippines many parts of isabela can't not see or visited the beaches it's so clean and clear water 💦 thanks kd 💯 to your adventure trip 👍💯 too see different places 🤩 keep up the good work sir 💯💪💖 and keep safe and good health 💖💯🙏💪 💖 GOD BLESS PO SA MGA SUSUNOD NA VLOG. NITO
Great vlog kumander... Going to places that haven't been featured much and letting us have a glimpse of how life is there up there...more power to you KD!
of all the travel vlogs on youtube this one taught me the most about my own motherland...I have not been back in over 15 years and I haven't even heard of Palanan. Thank you sir for this, you're making me excited to go back home.
Another adventure off the beaten path with Kumander Daot! Thank you for the lovely plane ride and breath-taking views. Good thing you weren’t riding your motorcycle through all that treacherous muck.
Such a beautiful unspoilt landscape, let's hope that the bigger roads and bridges don't ruin it's defence against the tides of change and allow its beauty to be damaged and exploited by 'progress'. Incidentally when KD remarked how funny it was that they spoke of the land on the other side of the mountains as an island, it reminded me that the largest of the Shetland Islands in Scotland is called simply 'the Mainland'.
You know what Hanzel i clap and smile whith a little bit tears of happiness while watching your video coz i see beauty in simplicity of the people of this wonderful place where no other foreign tourist/vlogger visit but only you KUMANDER DAOT
Kumander, I’m very well traveled, but not as extensively as you. Thanks for sharing with us this side of the Philippines that’s never been featured before by any vloggers that I know. You’re the man!
I'm so glad that you got to Palanan - once a hotbed for insurgents. Thanks for bringing it to our screens and making us proud to have inspired you to explore heretofore unknown areas. The Dumagats are nomads and tend to thrive anywhere. Have a good and safe adventure Anselm. Your content is purely magical and divinely inspiring.
Yes, I remember my father's story who served in the Philippine Army Special Forces and was once assigned there. It was about the ship MV Karagatan which tried to land firearms that was supplied by the Chinese Communist Party and was meant for the NPA. Victor Corpuz's group was supposed to receive the shipment but they and the shipment of cache of firearms were intercepted at Digoyo Point by the Philippine government forces.
hello KD, you keep on surprising us with your vlogs....just keep on going, enjoy every place you visited and thanks for appreciating our country....your one of us...Salamat sa Dios at ingatan ka niya sa lahat ng lakad mo....❤❤❤❤
A great adventure endearing yourself to a wonderful community. You may remember this forever but the people will remember Daot forever. Thanks for taking us along---I for one will never get there but I feel as though I've had the experience----Thank you
wow! and to see this from kumander daot who is not a Filipino by birth but by heart is more awesome...never knew this Philipppines...thanks for this sir!
Wow, Kumander! You have a fan club there in Palanan with so many followers greeting you. What a great tour of the different barangays and beaches. They are so beautiful and pristine! I was so surprised to see that the Dumagat look more like the inhabitants of Papua, New Guinea than like most of the Filipinos that I have seen. So fascinating to see that they live very much as they always have, too.
Great insight. Historians said that the early settlers in the Philippines are sea faring people from neigboring territories (or countries as now we call it). Guam is one of them. Papaua New Guinea is also a possibility considering the similarity of their looks and body built.
Great vlog kd! Thanks for showing the secluded places in our country! That’s why i really want to watch your vlogs! Keep up the good work kd! Great content and good job!
You just found a new paradise, another undiscovered paradise of the Philippines, I'm sure that place will be visited by many because of your exploration... Very nice Anselm... Influencer, motovloger 😅😂😅
KD is never afraid because he is fearless and he is more interested in exploring these less traveled places !!! And to the viewers delight, his vlog takes us his fans, viewers to the screen and we are in awe of this man’s courage and determination. KD thank you, you are awesome.🌎🌎🌎🌎🌎🌎🌎🌎💕💕💕💕🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪⭐️⭐️⭐️
While the ads are being showed, I take the time to read some of the comments about your Vlog and how you present yourself while interacting with the locals. It makes me know more about and how you are perceived as a vlogger. Since i subscribed to your channel, I lost count of how many videos I have watched, I am encouraged to see more!!!🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰😟💕💕💕💕💕💕⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👏
I love your adventures. You’re traveling off the beaten paths which is unique and the more challenging the journeys are, the most rewarding they are. 👍👍👍🙏❤️

What a STUNNING island - PALANAN is!! KD, you did an EXEMPLARY job introducing the vblogosphere this hidden Philippine gem. ... Your Tour Guide and driver, Kuya BOY, was very knowledgeable of the Region and unique culture. He also spoke English quite well -- a bonus since my Tagalog is more Taglish these days. 😆 Thank you to you both for an unscripted, organic docu-vblog. 👏👏👏👍🏻
I have not seen this video, this is really nice KD. Thank you for taking us along to this place. All your videos featuring the Southern part of the Philippines, Mindanao was amazing!! Safe travels.🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Wow !!! Who says Visayas has the best beaches !!! I like to live in places like there where they plant bushes as their fence, not those built with concrete cement & put broken glasses on top, meaning the people there are trustworthy and welcoming!
