I can beat that. Came in June 1998 for 2 weeks and 25 years later still here. Good work the DOST is doing, Philippines certainly needs more waste water and foul water treatment systems.
Hopefully this gentleman from the Netherlands gets all the credit that he deserves for this very innovative project. We all know some reptiles in government sectors claim all the credit for themselves without even lifting a finger.
Dude, I'm an overseas Pinoy have worked in the PH with a foreign dev agency the biggest obstacle is the implementation. So many bureaucrats or officials like to see reports and papers for show only but have NO idea and heart to implement. Just look at all those plans from JICA. With the exception of one project I did in the PH, all the others have nothing to show. Because my services were free to them. :-(
Didn't you hear what he said: He says he's a consultant and been working with LGU and DOST for 7 years. Of course the government is using his expertise. The sewerage treatment facility in the video shows his result and the government's effort. Gosh. So Gosh.
As a science teacher I really love this video. So interesting and super informative. Looking forward that all LGU in whole Philippines will benchmark on this kind of project.
Netherlands has high standards in Engineering, Architectures, and other technologies. Your friend Sean is very capable of bringing his know-how from Netherlands. Philippines is lucky to have him.
Anselm = imo, only Kumander Daot could do this topic justice, peppered with appropriate humor, technical process explained in layman's terms, and much APLOMB, of course. 😂 😂 😂 ... SEAN is indeed a VIP = Very Important Pilipino!! Great job for seeking him out, KD. ❤ 👏
Keep up the great work.. This is the most wonderful type of content you can produce.. Thanks Kuya .. 🎉🎉🎉 Never UNDERESTIMATE YOUR ABILITY in Sharing is Caring.. I applaud you..🎉🎉🎉❤
Interesting topic good your friend KD help and share his expertise in Panabo via working DOST. Seven years Staycation is worthy 😅😅 for me he deserves an award and recognition both from local and national government 😊
This is a very informative content KD, Waste Water and Sewerage Management System. An excellent illustration for all Environmental Science and Environmental Engineering Courses. Great job Sir Sean and KD! 👍 DENR and DOST should introduce and implement it nationwide. Imagine, 10x cost effective/efficient, natural filters, there's no need for imported consumable materials.
Nice to see foreigners working away in the Philippines! THANK YOU KUMANDER DAOT! FOR HIGHLIGHTING THIS GENTLEMAN! I too am married in, looking to make the work move soon! MARAMING SALAMAT PO
excellent decision sir lots of you needs the communitymore progressive wonderful job, that's thr blesding to have uou in Philippines. Gid bless both of you Alselm KD .congrats both og you-🤗❤❤❤🇵🇭🌹🌹🌹👏👏👏🇵🇭
Hello KD and Sean, what an interesting topic. Thanks Sean for sharing ur expertise on waste water treatment. And making sure that the effluent is safe and won't harm the environment. That's awesome!💪👊, amping KD.
Fellow Dutchman here. I also went on a one month vacation to PH (Davao / Mindanao) earlier this year. I will let you know, when I end up living there too. 👍😅🍻

Thank you Mr.Sean for cleaning our water, keeping safe peoples' lives! May your tribe increase! DOST you did a good job by hiring this man from Netherlands!
This Technology is widely use in the Netherlands. Even the Trappist Monks use this technology in their beer manufacturing industry in Spain the waste water is filter for their vegetable gardens ..I’m glad it’s a Dutchman that’s running the system..👍
I wonder if he gets enough salary from dost to raise his family in ph compare to the salary as splecialist in Netherlands. Kudos great job kay kuya and thank u! Welcome to Davao Boy P enjoy!
I love this foreign DOST guy. Kumander, I love your videos. Please know that I appreciate you for having this guy on one of your videos. If you have the time, please tell the guy that I am one among the many who would love this guy grow old here in the Philippines, that is, if the circumstances are favorable to him in the years to come.
Very nice and inspiring. We came to Bukidnon in August and acquiring our Farm. I was a superintendent in a slaughterhouse in Canada and I did rebuild a water treatment plant with all controls and sensors. Fun project!! Yes, there are so many solutions. For our farm I also have to build some wastewater treatment cisterns, bio reactors, and natural filters. Water sources will be a bored 4" 30 feet long pipe by hand including a wind mill and / or a ram pump depending on the water quality. Salut for such videos. Und Gruesse an deinen Hollandischen Freund!! All the best as always
I am so excited to see the government of the Philippines take so many practical steps to protect the ground water quality and clean up human waste streams with such innovative water treatment system. Protecting the land and oceans is doing GOD work and showing citizens the path to responsible Environmental protection. Cleaning up waste water prior to discharge is much more cost effective than just dumping into local water estuary.
Cool filter systems, got me thinking now. I'm an overthinker anyways lol. And that seafood yummy, I've eaten lots of king crab in Canada. Salamat again for getting back to me so quickly, i found the chapel cave and D'Bones video fast. Amping Pirme.
Nothing new about the technology. We've been using this watershed treatment method in large scale here in Texas. Large Poultry/Pig/Cattle farms here also have same systems in treating their waste.
This is my kind of Blog. Very informative & educational. Here in NYC I’m working for a engineering consultant & we have several waste water treatment projects
This nice Netherlands person is very kind enough to explain things that people doesn’t understand some things like this . Thank you k. Daot for this video.
Thank you KD, to show the information about pilteriation, water to use it thanks also to your friend from Netherlands, and time to eat yummy 🤤 sea food 🤤 mga kasama with BP, keep up the good work 💯💪💖 and keep safe and good health 💖💯💪 GOD BLESS PO SA INYONG LAHAT 💓🙏🍒💖💯💪
Awesome filtration so that there is no effects to the environment. Ive had been notice some company that i had work before they used aerator and fluculant?....good job and thanks KD 👏👏👏👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
We would like to request the Philippine Congress to make a strict investigation to the Safety Procedures and Waste Treatment Facilities of Various corporations in the Philippines such as Chemical Plants, Oil and Gas Depots, Oil and Gas Refineries, Manufacturing Plants and Mining Facilities. I am very sure there are many "Loop-Holes" in the Law that made many companies to take advantage to their profit but in the end, it destroyed the environment. I did not say that the Department of Environment and Natural Resources is not efficient but we know some influential people in the society wether rich or elites or oligarchs are controlling the corporations but we want the Strict Law to be Implemented. We wanted those perpetrators and those who abuse the environment put into court. We hope the Congress particularly the Minority Bloc (Makabayan Bloc) can help fix the law regarding the environment and ancestral (Ethnic-Tribal) domain. Please share my comment and post to others. Thank you very much.

Sean, you are a hero! You two are the types of foreigners that the country badly needs. If Sean’s patented process is adapted in the entire country, then our environment will have a big chance to last longer than its neighboring countries.
Let Nature clean-up the waste, instead of chemicals that would eventually poison us all. A large scale Watershed are needed all over the Philippines for wastewater treatment. Let different types of grasses, trees, etc. do all the cleaning. Every large scale animal farms in the Philippines, need one of this systems.
Wow! This is one of your top video you ever produced Kumander Daot. I'm so impressed with the presentation of the from the Nederland. He's amazing I hope he gets the credit he deserved from the government. The last part of this video is so yummy the best seafood restaurant I've ever seen.😂😂😂
