Just made this recipe. It was great. I did put a pat of butter on each one about 3/4 way through cooking. It really browned up nice. I did the bake method. 400 degrees at 35 mins. Pounded thin cutlets
@@B_Bodziak Hey B I just like to cook at 375-400 and adjust the time. I think 450 is to hot and sometimes it cooks the outside and not the inside. Just personal preference. Thanks for the comment.
Followed the recipe to the letter including the sauce and this was amazing! Mine took 31 mins in a 450 oven, chicken and cheese were perfect. Thanks for the post and a great dinner!!
Im cooking this one tonight! Reporting back! Family loved it! They asked if it could be added to the normal rotation, which means a lot, even the 4 year old is eating it. We subbed the ham for Prosciutto and baked it. 👍
Yes we have substituted prosciutto for ham its great ! We are fresh basil lovers so we add freshly picked basil to it along with some grated cheese also. Great flavors ! Funny we have the "rotation" method in our home also. To make the rotation it has to be good. We have about every 2 weeks, just had last night, and of course a nice bottle of wine to go along with it...
Why don’t you have more subscribers?! You’re instructions are so clear and your techniques are so simple! Anyone can follow along with your recipes! I’m definitely subbed! Thanks for the videos.
I mean, I've got 900,000 which feels like a lot. I have about 11 million followers across social media and my recipes are viewed by 100 million+ people every year on my website. RUclips is just not a main platform for me.
I think this needs attention. TWO ingredients of cheese should be added. Having only one, it can ooze out, bake away, or not be present in the flavor profile of chicken, ham, ( and the ingredients you bring. ) Add the extra cheese. Otherwise, it’s equivalent of one portion on a grilled cheese. One on a cheese wrap or crunch. One on a multi-blend cheese serving. Otherwise. Can you please let others know that most cheese will melt away in a frying pan, or, tempted oven ?
The sauce is headlined on this video. Will try to make. I’m heading back to the main dish. What is the difference between the oven and fried ? Is one better ? The fried did not get reviewed. The oven seams more traditional. Just quick thoughts. Curious about this dish .
I’ve been talking with my girlfriend about wanting to try to make this dish for quite a while now. I used your recipe last night, followed everything exactly as mentioned (except for the bread crumbs, I used Italian bread crumbs alternatively) and It came out absolutely amazing. I was hesitant about trying to make it for dinner as we have a 10 year old, and an 8 year old but, first bite they both said “Wow this is really good!” And they’re wanting me to make this frequently now. You most definitely gained a subscriber from me, and I’ll be looking into some other recipes of yours. Thank you!
Hi! Chef. Thank you for sharing a nice video demo how to cook chicken cordon bleu. I love it and your recipe of CCV I will add it with my recipe collections. 😋😋😋❤️🙏
Made this baked and OMG it was so perfect and yummy! I'm on Weight Watchers and one .5lb chicken with the ham and swiss was 10 points which is a great amount for dinner for me!
Looks awesome!!! I think that is the first time I’ve seen you take a bite of your cooking. Love it. Keep up the good work can’t wait to see your next meal.
I made this for dinner last night, and my husband flipped over it! I did the baked version. I didn't have the Dijon mustard so I just used regular mustard! It was wonderful! We had leftovers tonight~ The sauce turned out really good! I love this recipe and thank you for showing us how to make it! I was getting bored with my recipes and this one is a definate addition to my recpie box!!! Thank you for this video!😎🥰😋
I had forgotten this recipe as I have made these many years ago. Thank you for reminding me as I really needed a good chicken recipe. My others are getting boring!😁
Just wanna say you explain things very well, I tried making this, that sauce wow, and I wasn’t disappointed so you have my subscription. Thanks yeah 🇬🇧
Hi Rachel you've created another home run. I make most of your recipes as I did with this one. I used prosciutto and instead of eggs I just dipped the rolled breasts in butter and rolled them in extra crispy shake n' bake crumbs, I also tried them with panko crumbs, then baked them. This recipe is so versatile as so many of your recipes are. thank you very much!
I’m do glad I’m subscribed. Chicken cordon bleu is on my menu for today’s Valentines dinner! I haven’t made it in years so the refresher on how to do this was super helpful. ❤️
Good afternoon I made this today oh my goodness it was so delicious,I made the oven version of it ...its a hit in the house amd definitely will do it again ...ty for sharing these wonderful recipes ❤
Hi Rachel!🤗 I have made many of your recipes and all were pure deliciousness! This one was so good (fried) that my husband really liked it! Thank you so much!
So I butterfly them, pound them out to an even 1/4 inch thick. Wrap the cheese in one slice of ham, place another slice of ham on the chicken. Roll that tightly in cling film and refrigerate that for at least two hours. Then use breading, with garlic powder, onion powder, and peccorino and Parmigiano. Sear a few mins seam side, than top side, put the skillet in the oven at 350, 5 mins per side. Let rest and enjoy ! If you are like me, pick a single basil leaf per breast and wrap that with the cheese.
Thank you for the 5 minute version of this recipe and not the 30 minute version I've seen on other channels.

Thanks for letting us know.
FYI, she said 450F. Is there a reason you did 400?

I started to tear up a little bit when you said it was asked to be in rotation. That's a feeling of accomplishment all in itself
