I got my first embroidery machine just before last Christmas.. Saw this tutorial and made all my friends and family towels and face cloths for gifts using this technique! They came out beautiful considering I'd never even touched an embroidery machine before!
Couldn't wait to try my first computerized embroidery, on my new se625, put denim in the hoop all by itself, nice and tight, letters came out great. Actually sewed a border around it and sewed it on the front of my work hat. ( My name). Good little vid, all hints/ tips appreciated.
I can't believe how much insight and information I've gained from you and your video's detailed tutorial! It's so amazing!! Now I have the skills to do my embroidery projects this weekend. Thank you so very much.
I have been trying to figure out how to embroider my quilt labels since I got my embroidery machine and the temporary adhesive never crossed my mind but I will be trying that tonight for sure. thank you very much.
I wonder if getting a puffy material damp to wet would be better. I know Goose Down loses it's loft when wet. Synthetics may not to as great a degree. I just got my 625, (still in the box). I ordered different types of stabilizer, (still waiting on them) Very nice presentation of the technique.
I just bought a SE625 and love it. my problem is that I am not understanding how to float my material for a embroidery project that includes a particular boarder that needs to be in all 4 corners and then the main embroidery done in the center. I have my tear away stabilizer and my material. it is on page 23. can you do a video on how to do this? thanks.
Pretty good video but you did not show it in action! I would like to see how the stitches look with this method. Is there any chance you will do an update please?
Hey I wanted to say that's a nice vest u know I soak my hoops in dawn soap it really works and the spray I use is heat n bond light u get it at Wal-Mart I like it real well it doesn't gum up your needles its cheaper like 10 but that's what I used I used to use other sprays but I found out that heat n bond works really well but u know we have our favorites but what did u put on the towel I enjoy your videos maybe next month I will get mine
Melissa Hollis-I saw a few brands of temp adhesive at Wal-Mart AFTER I bought mine...LOL...just my luck! I might try them...I'm sure my husband would like me to...he's a penny pincher! I'm not sure how to post a photo on here but it actually was a KITCHEN towel so I put utensils & "What's Cookin?" on it. I posted another video about reserve stitches where I'm working on it. You may be able to see the full design on there. Thanks for the comment 😉
Melissa Hollis-YES I do really like it! The only down side I'd have to say with this machine is the limits that you have with the 4x4 hoop. I've heard that you can split bigger designs (using a program) & use them in a 4x4 hoop but I haven't learnt how to do that yet. 😉
Thankk you soo muchh !! I am learning a lot from your videos! 👌👌✨I just got the brother se625 and I love it but I don't know how to convert my custom designs to a PES file to do the embroidery part :/ can you do a video? Haha
Hey you mentioned you didn't know how to convert your custom designs into .pes files. I was in the same situation until I saw this video from some lady. She shows you how to download the software you need to convert the files. Once you have the software, it's not hard to find tutorials on how to use the software. Good luck here is the link to her video ruclips.net/video/RXJHyGdC8KM/видео.html
Melissa Hollis-YES i did a pot holder. I just wound up floating it & using water soluble stabilizer (wss) on top of it. I held the wss down with blue painters tape. Next one I do, I'll video for you 😉
Ok I know its 359 I was just seeing what the tax was I'm getting mine next month on the 9th I'm just to excited oh u got it off the website ok well they have the se600 and its more than se625 only cause the 600 doesn't have that CD that one should of be cheaper but its the same machine
Melissa Hollis-I bought mine in the store but I bought a bunch of other stuff that I needed at the same time (extra needles, thread, stabilizer, etc) so by the time I check out my bill was over $440! That's why I can't remember the EXACT price of the machine.

My husband got it for me for Christmas and I love it. So glad I found you here, I have not seen much on the se625.
Kay Henninger - YAY welcome to the 625 family :)
Thank you for sharing! Waiting on my machine to arrive! It's on backorder and can't wait to try this! Looking forward to watching more of these! 😉

Why would you do this “float”- as opposed to just sticking it in the hoop.???
Can I use self adhesive stabilizer in stead or do I need use all of these items mentioned? Thank you
It is pronounced muslin not Muslim there is a distinct difference.
Try crafters companion fabric adhesive spray.
Thought I was only one to use painters tape!
What’s the benefits of floating that you couldn’t have done the right way?
Wondering where I can purchase the PE 10 or 11 software and the price? Can I buy used software? Is the software a must have? Thank you
Very creative.. I'm new here.. Hello everyone!
I also use clips from harbor freight. Do you have the magnifying headlamp they sell?
Thanks for the info, thumps up
Why they water Soluble paper ?? I know ot a towel but what the purpose of it ?

Do you have a video on how to thread the embroidery part I'm new to this
😅
When I dont hook my hoop into the machine, it will not let me do anything

In Walmart the total is 412. With tax
😊
Do you think this can sew 3-4 layers of denim?
great video, thank you
hunterboat-THanks 😉
Love this technique!
Thank you good info
If buying sheets of stabilizer what size would I need to fit the brother hoop?
You can buy whatever size you want. I buy large rolls and just cut it to the size you need for each indvidual project.
👌👌👌👌🤗🤗
😉
Can you upload any design to it?
sergio bermudez-Anything that is in PES format & that fits within the 4x4 hoop shouldn't be a problem.
I am wondering why you use two layers of stabilizer.
I've always heard you can NEVER use too much stabilizer.
🤘🏻😜
👍🏼
;) Thank you so much for sharing this video. Very Helpfull
THANKS
Hello I wanted to ask how much did u pay for your machine
