I was a fan of this show during all the seasons it aired. I always felt so unsettled and sad after viewing the shows and still do. These stories break my heart, not only for the victims, but also for those left behind who live suspended in grief. When a story is solved, I know at least the family has an answer, however sad it may be.

Polygraphs are crap. Never agree to do one. If you haven’t gotten a lawyer yet, and the police are asking you to do a polygraph test, it’s past time to clam up & lawyer up.

And that's why polygraph tests are NOT permissible in a court of law. They often result in false negative and false positives. I'll never understand why police put so much credibility into their results. He stopped at a gas station for a quart of oil at 4am? Ya, right, okay. If the police hadn't relied so much on polygraph results they could've had their guy years ahead of time and possibly prevented another SA and homicide.

Back years ago I had an uncle who worked at Hardee's for yrs and he and the other employees were taking things home from the store and when corporate finally figured out what was going on they made all the employees take a polygraph and my uncle passed his with flying colors while lying through his teeth the whole time!! So like I said before anybody can pass one of them!!
