For those using Citadel paints, I airbrushed Incubi darkness as a mid-tone, followed by sotek green as a highlight and a glaze with thinned black ink over does a similar job though it yields a more greenish black result but still awesome! You can even push the highlights further with Ahriman blue or Temple guard blue if want but the result will read differently.
@@galharen I love your charcoal armor, and as a lower tier painter myself, Ive been looking for a speed paint scheme to achieve something similar on my heresy era dark angels to finally get an army painted and on the table top after 22 years in the hobby. I have been searching for that grimdark look colour/tone without being overly textured. Stippling, over working the paint and powdery finishes just doesnt work for me in person when I get up close on the model. I really like this style!
Thank you for another amazing tutorial on painting techniques. Quick question: when you apply the mix of matt and satin varnish 17:34 , don't you dilute it with a thinner? No risk of the airbrush clogging?
Always separate parts and paint them separaterly. Paint whole constructed model is the bigest beginer mistake. Never forget it. Using airbrush for this largescale model is pretty usefull but Paintbrush will be so much better in conclusion. Weathering effects in thi tutorial are abbandoned, use them and your leviathan will be gigachat... :*
Poprostu wow. Wygląda świetnie. Można prosić o nazwe pędzelków użytych przy malowaniu, albo jakieś rekomendacje?
