Does anyone else think green shirt guy and ‘hey’ guy could be Put together to make one song? Green being main chunk of song with hey guy being breakdown before monster solo and outro.
He also has good understanding of odd rhythms and writing a drum part that throws off the natural sound of the time signature (I think it had a 6/8 feel at times)

Then again, one of my favorite “songs” in middle school was listening to Once I Had a Woman by Jimi and Funeralopolis by Electric Wizard simultaneously. I started out beginning them at the same time, but eventually I’d experiment by starting one first and beginning the other one at random points. It was glorious. I guess it reminds of the feeling I got listening to that. Nostalgic. Now I wanna do that again.

VIRGINIA HOOK no no..i mean yeah everyone but if you look at miss may i type metalcore they usually mix that “brutal and sad” vibe..but that steve vai guy type is my favorite metalcore type.. you know what i mean
@@aniqizwan I'd say less about the specific rythym but keeping in line with that sort of vibe check out Intervals. Particularly their instrumental albums, "The Way Forward", and "The Shape Of Colour". Both have a good amount of cool syncopated riffage and almost pop like catchiness that we hear from "Steve Vai Guy's" interpretation of Jared's notation.
Each line represents a string on the guitar, (bottom is the thickest string) just put your finger on the metal bar before the number and strum it untill you play all the notes :)
For my money - 1 - Green Shirt guy 2 - Acoustic guitar with black hair guy ( he made it sound a bit like Chris Whitley - my fave guitarist ) 3 - Green Ibanez Jem guy. 1 and 3 didn't really play a style I'm into but they rocked it good. Number 2 I would like to hear more of his stuff.

This is a great idea. It pushes new comers to try something new, along with getting them comfortable with progressions. Even if you don’t want to update your version I still think it’s great practise.

Really cool video man. You should do this more. Reminded me of when i used to write tabs to riffs i came up with in my head in highschool. Then id go home and forget the tempo i had in mind and would come up with a bunch of wierd versions of the same riff. Great vid idea
That was a sick video man.. there's some very great interpretations of that tab in this video.. some sick grooves in there guys and harp girl.. dudes groove after the harp was sick.. piano,harp, acoustic players were Amazing versions.. and those metal versions badass!
