That’s why my wife got one, she likes to come out into the living room when I’m playing out there since her PS5 is in another room. She really loves it so far!
I wish it could connect directly to the console, just like the Wii U pad did, to eliminate lag. And then it could also have been used as a dualscreen, with inventory and map on the Portal screen, just like we could on the Wii u.

Use my portal when my wife is on the main TV. Only use it with single player games. Wish it was truly a standalone device

You must have a bad router if it lags. If you're home, it should be connecting to the PS5 over your home network and not over the internet.

I bought one and I absolutely hate it. Lags non stop and keeps disconnecting
