She has a really good point about why they covered this song. About making it big and dealing with the major record labels, MTV, and such. Good interpretation and way to take liberties with it. Thats why we love Flyleaf.

I love Lacey; maybe because of that, I see this as strained, like crappy music business stuff they were forced to do. I think she seems reluctant at the start, in the middle, facially expressive of an I TOLD YOU THIS WOULD SUCK attitude, and at the end, so relieved it is over.

What I'm more surprised about is all the people who dislike Lacey's voice. It's not a "normal" voice and it doesn't play by the rules, but that's what I like about it. That's her natural vocal. The point of a cover is to not just cover a song the right way but to also do it with your own flavor. She has a very beautiful voice and is the perfect female to cover this song. So i reapectfully disagree with you.
