Joey Arthur Zooberry tbh thats what it is. He was paid to steal back cars for the ppl who sold said ppls cars and back then the repo practice wasnt as regualted as today so they legit, steal your car anychance theyhad ex. (Him brekaing intothat guys garage, and stealing the dudescar while he was at seven elven)
"The first Mercedes we stoled" At this point, I knew this was going to be another classic VINWiki story. Thanks Ed for the wonderful people and their stories.
"So we stole the batmobile but I can't really tell you about that one. We got there with the police & loaded it on a flatbed then brought it back." That was the selling point for this whole video and he didn't even steal it or really talk about it. That's a new kind of clickbait hell D:
One of my friends used to be a repo man, he told me about this one van he took back in the 90's that belonged to an employee at McDonald's. Well he found the van in the McDonald's parking lot and he had the keys to it. So he took it through the drive-thru and ordered lunch. The girl that handed him his food noticed he was driving her van and said "Hey! That's my van!" and he said "Not anymore!" and then he tossed his business card in the window.
Another time he spotted the car he was looking for at a different restaurant and ordered his food from the person who owned the car. After he finished eating he hoped in the dudes car and left his business card in his parking spot.
DabTime Yeah, you're right. He's also a hot head. Probably a good thing that he's not in that business anymore. He's a bill collector now, he calls people from the comfort of his office and demands that they pay their bills.
I would have just floored it when i saw him comin, cant cut the stem of a car when its wheels are turning! (im talking about a burnout mind you, i remember he said he was stuck in traffic)
and this guy was enough of a decent human being to be able to see when someone was just plain trying to get away looking like they're rich and someone who was a victim of circumstance and didnt deserve a repo. Good dude, would love to hear more from him
Totally agree - so interesting hearing 'out of my reach' stories :P Always edited to keep things interesting, not like the friend you have that umms and uhhs or rambles, going off topic, boring you
Yeah, but the one about the Supra for $36 was clickbait. I was *highly* disappointed. But hey, 999 out of 1000 is a pretty darn good 'no clickbait' ratio.
Me and my two best friends all work for a repo company. Best part is getting to race the cars we get 😂 ... If "burga" the rapper is reading this your Audi A8 was pretty fast
One of the best ones yet! This guy just flat out tells it like it is no BS like some some of the goofs that spout BS on here. This guy is an OG badass.👍🇨🇦
I appreciate this man! You got to maintain your compassion for humanity, especially if you’re doing a job like this!!! He’s the robin hood of repo men.
growing up as a kid - a repo man was always my dream job. watched alot of Dukes of Hazzard as a child - the first episode i saw was 'repo men'. i was in awe. i was like "you can get paid to steal cars!! im sold!" that was the good ol days dont know if id wanna do it today!
When I was 17, my uncle took me out of town to "repo" a pickup truck and drive it back. Super easy in those days. It was a 1972 dodge. Ignition on the dash board so no steering wheel lock to deal with.
I felt like this is the type of job that would get me in trouble and then get me hurt...and it seems like I am right. Cool, off to polish up the resume and find people 90 days late on their car loans!
I used to watch the reponut channel when it was good. He always talks about how you have to repo peacefully as soon as the cops get called it’s game over unless the car is already hooked. This sounds like the Wild West. I was thinking 70s then you said 90s. Either you played out side the rules or a lot has changed. These stories are awesome. Particularly the ak47.
"I caught him in traffic, i jumped out, and cut his valve stem" Lol dude.. these are golden interviews. For real Vinwiki, you guys have some of the best videos . By the way.. if you ever have to fight someone bigger than you, go for the balls. Theirs no shame.
Love this guys stories. looks like a super cool dude to hang with and have a beer but a badass to throw down with. hahaha vinwiki please do more with this man. lol
2:25 Wow, my grandmother had one of those. After her sister died she came to live with us in California from Michigan in 1979. I do remember that big green Nova.
hey guys. i really enjoy watching these videos. for this video, there should be a second cut, without cuts. all the stories full length. thx and have a good one
David Simpson and Christopher Michael are hands down my favorite storytellers. Possibly because I'm from Ohio and actually know guys just like them haha.
At 1:39, those first VATS keys didn't have a computer chip, it was simply a resistor. Many people eventually had problems with the super-thin wires coming from the ign. cylinder. You could wire in a 10 cent resistor from Radio Shack and defeat the system.
I love how he says "stole" and not repo'd. "Yeah, I steal cars for a living" freaking badass
I refer my trip to the pharmacy is scoring drugs.
Morten Hartvig Kristiansen it’s cringey
Joey Arthur Zooberry tbh thats what it is. @@XXTacoBellLovaXX Theres a difference between the two, repossessing vehicles is not technically theft. Its repossession.
@@XXTacoBellLovaXX If repossession was a crime or if it was considered theft or stealing, it wouldn't be called repossession.
"The first Mercedes we stoled"
At this point, I knew this was going to be another classic VINWiki story. Thanks Ed for the wonderful people and their stories.
Tucker Tull Really? Haha. He had me at “Oh, we stole the bat mobile”.
"So we stole the batmobile..." Best VINwiki hook yet!
P WrightisRight I was dying when I heard him say that, instant thumbs up!
Shame it's complete bullshit, huh? ... and I quote... "He gave us the car"... Yep! Sounds like a real "steal"!
The urine bandit one is great, too.
ok...go on?
"So we stole the batmobile but I can't really tell you about that one. We got there with the police & loaded it on a flatbed then brought it back."
That was the selling point for this whole video and he didn't even steal it or really talk about it. That's a new kind of clickbait hell D:
A real man admits when he got beat up in a fight
real men can take a ass wooping and laff about it
Real men don't get their ass beat
Doesn't matter how good you are, eventually you meet someone better.
If you're a good enough guy, you'll be sure to laugh with your mates about it.
+John Wick yeah sure, still live with your mom?
John, there is always someone bigger badder or better out there and if not then they probably have a gun.
Someone should give this guy his own repo show
"Actual Beach Tow"
Honestly most repo guys don’t want a show to many secrets to the trade and tv producers like to cause trouble
One of my friends used to be a repo man, he told me about this one van he took back in the 90's that belonged to an employee at McDonald's. Sort of an immature repoman

Lol what a savage
@@TheCobruhAlienat0r Not really immature. It's more of a FUCK YOU lol. My dad has done it once.
More of this guy. He is awesome
Noah Melton exactly what I came on here to say
392 likes so I did want to mess it up.
I cant believe they only shot one video with this dude..... What a GOLD MINE of badass stories
@@mtereletsky1 yes he's for real and he's got to have a treasure trove of stories.
This is the man I wanna have a beer with .... Great story
Makes two of us Rob!
when you get your car repo'd, you've been burned. and when you're burned, you've got nothing.
New favorite account. 😂
but when you get your batmobile reop'd, then you've got nothing but humiliation
Yes!
Perfection. I was reading the comment before I saw your profile pic.
ily LOL
Cutting a valve stem. Simple, effective, brilliant.
The hell is a valve stem?
Enderchangling Google it
Enderchangling the air tire filly thingy ;)
Enderchangling The hell are you doing here? Even a bicycle has that! How do you think you'd inflate the tires?
I would have just floored it when i saw him comin, cant cut the stem of a car when its wheels are turning! (im talking about a burnout mind you, i remember he said he was stuck in traffic)
this guy is one of those overall nice bad asses
So awesome how he has morals and doesn’t want to repo people that might’ve gotten screwed by the banks or dealers. Good person vibes!
@@ABCRapster Come over to our channel
Old school repo stories are entertaining!
Thats an ironic ad at the end
😆

I like this guy, that Mustang build was epic.
Imagine sitting around a campfire with every storyteller from VinWiki.
Maybe we need a fire in the foreground of our videos to establish some ambiance.
That be amazing
Smoking mad weed
I can relate to this, Robin still hates me.
Dave is a riot! Love it
The thing I love about VINWiki videos - the thumbnails and titles look like clickbait, but deliver every time.

This guy is super chill. Like a surfer dude.
More stories.
I like that he told some people how to keep the car away from him. Compassion is beautiful.
Love the enthusiasm from this guy! More please!
After watching a video about A repo man taking cars. RUclips puts up a commercial for Auto financing company. Lol. That's a bit cheeky...
Brandon Allen that wasn’t RUclips’s doing, they are a VINwiki sponsor. It was funny though.
I think they may not be a sponsor after this haha
Don't see no problem there. It's a reminder to pay yo bills.
I could listen to your stories all day...
Bring him back, make some sort of guided questionnaire and then edit accordingly. This guys is great.

Man, I always thought repo stories were good. For better or for worse, I don't think I've ever heard an uninteresting one!

What a great dude and hes killer at telling stories, love that he didn't mess with people that were getting screwed over.
What an Amazing dude!!! Thanks for the stories. Also thanks VINWiki for posting this.
Are you looking to have your dream car repoed? Premier Financial Services can offer that flexibility.
