How good after a day working in the garden to come inside and find a video from Explomo!! A great way to relax so thanks to you both!! I am astounded by the number of abandoned places in so many countries and find it sad that in many cases the families seem uninterested in what has been left behind. Gill 🇬🇧
Memories flash back: shoes by basement stairs, smartly dressed Swedish couple in front of home, green kitchen cabinets, plastic table cloth, arched entries to rooms. OMG my mother had that same green and black winter coat with a fur collar! As a first generation American who is disabled and homebound, I am loving your Swedish series. Fondly reminds me of my father's Swedish family. Thanks for all the great finds you share. Thanks Sarah and "the guys". Side note: Has it ever occurred to you the home owner was a hoarder. I have a couple different neighbors who daily live in all that clutter?
Moreno, you make me want to cry,the music is so sad,you chose the right music for your video.Thank you so much,I feel like you are a part of my family,if some day you stop this hobby,I will be very sad.
Every night I watch your videos. They are so interesting and yet very sad. After a hard day with my health issues I become very relaxed watching. Thankyou and God Bless you and your team.
I have some tips for you; you can check expire dates on food items. This will be the best indication when its last inhabited. Bottle of water expires in 2 years so you will get a good indication. Also the tv does work, you just need to push the + button for the channels and it will show you image. The radio also works. Sometimes its frustrating when you miss some details. I saw a cigarette box. The couple got older, one of them died. The other probably suddenly fell ill and died or went to a nursing home. After that the relatives came by and put the boxes on the ground for leaks. Some people are cowards for leaving a home like this without taking valuable things like pictures etc. They just dont want to be confronted by memories i guess ? Pictures are priceless for the future of a family
I would say that this is a very typical Swedish older house, mostly renovated in the 70's. Every Swede has empty soda cans at home waiting for recycling 🙂 The seven-armed candlestick in the entrance window is a Christmas decoration. In Sweden, we have something called the principle of openness, so it's very easy to find out information about people who lived in a certain house, for example.
That's also my conclusion. Maybe the woman left her husband very suddenly, maybe she died. And he couldn't cope with the big house alone, which I btw wouldn't call a mansion. It's just a big house, and there were probably also a few children living there back in the days.
Danke euch.
Such a beautiful house for the last video in Sweden. You always save the best for last. Looking forward to your next country you visit..Say hi to Remon, I hope he is doing well. You Remon and Sara are good people. Very respectful. Stay safe and well my friends. ☮️💖☮️💖☮️💖
Electricity? Someone is still paying the bills or that is one of the rare places with totaly free electricity. Here in Sweden the power companies turne off the power line within a year if no one pay.
I always enjoy, can’t wait find out the name of ur new channel & watch those new explorations w/ Lesley.. even tho I’ll miss Remon… but I understand he has to do what his heart tells him to do…thx again.. as always!!
I think I have the answer to your question "why they all left"? As I see it from the state of the house and the Christmas decoration that is left since 2014 - first left probably the mother with children because she could not take any more drinking of her man. And then the man probably moved to his parents or relatives because he could not really take care of himself. I might be mistaken, but this is how it looks for me. And I am from Sweden :)The people at the pictures on the wall - are ancestors to the couple, they lived in the beginning or in the middle of 20 century, they are over 100 years now and most probably dead , while their grandson or grand daughter inherited this herrgård and had no money to keep it maintained.
I agree, you are probably correct. It looks like they left in a hurry. Textbooks left open, dishes in the sink, as if they expected to return and that their exits were only temporary.
@@claireb4259 ....maybe... But could also be the husband died and she was left to raise the children and could not possibly do it and maybe had a breakdown leaving the children with no one to care for them . I really would like to know more but if no one knows..... Just really sad....
@@TXplayneJayne That sounds like a credible guess. I just have to wonder why textbooks were left open as if the students would return soon to finish their homework. There are no signs of an older person left on their own but more of an atmosphere of much activity that suddenly stopped.
Like others it looks like the family was kidnapped in the later night when the kids worked on homework. The family history may have something to do with it as multiple empty places similar the families disappear one evening. Some that disappear have been traced back to recent relatives that were part of the SS in Germany. I do not know if it is true but it seems as plausible since everything looks to be lived in and suddenly no one. Some homes do have stories of the family being kidnapped in the evening and not seen again, could be stories but often could be partially true.
@@badgerpa9 Normally, people don´t live like that in Sweden. Only those, who does not have a stable income like drug addicts or alcoholics or mentally ill. The furniture is all old, the whole house is decorated as it was 50 years ago. So probably parents or grand parents to father of the family had died and they moved in and didn´t do any updates or repairments. I see this from Moreno´s detailed filming - kitchen is 100 years old, the floor is in horrible condition, wallpaper is from 50-60 -ies. That tells a lot about the situation in the family. It was not healthy and got worse on Christmas eve so the mother and the children had to run away. That´s how it all looks to be honest.
Heyy there, dear Maureno from fabulous Urbex team Explomo, What an incredibly beautiful and amazing introduction, combined with breathtaking drone shots and a wonderful background music! - Really awesome! I loved following you in mind through the rooms of this abandoned and forgotton typical older mansion somewhere in Sweden. You really never fail to amaze me again and again with your excellent documentary Urbex videos. - Despite of the damage and decay traces there were still some remarkably nice pieces of furniture visible and multiple other interesting items, you were focussing on with your camera. I also loved seeing these old photos. But they were very touching to see. - Very cozy atmosphere in some of the rooms of this house! - I fully agree to you: Let's just hope, this mansion still finds a new owner, who might restore it. Upstairs, where you found that heavy box, I already knew what it is, before you managed to open it and finding out, that it is a very vintage record player, probably even from the 1930-ies, because I have such an item from my grand fathers time. Whenever I am watching a new video from Explomo, I am always so touched, and I admire your deeply respectful approach to the probable life of the former owners of an abandoned location - and then your truly thoughtful questions about certain life aspects, which even sometimes have a very philosophical quality. - Bravo Maureno, my dear friend and bro! - Excellent video and very professionally filmed, - and as always highly enjoyable to watch! I already wish you a wonderful and memorable trip together with Lesley to Bonaire and further on to the USA. Stay safe, my friend, much love and blessings. - Peace and kindest regards.
Thank you so much 💓 for sharing. You are so respectful of their property, and that ,to me, means another. You have to wonder what kind of lives they lived.
Hola Explomo y Sarah!! Hello Maureno, I love watching your videos. I am so fascinated seeing all those abandoned houses and learning something about the probable history behind.
To this day when military pictures are taken, they always have a straight face. I'm taking about graduation pictures or pictures when a soldier achieved a higher rank. The history of pictures and cameras, is incredible. Thank you for the tour.
The last time i felt this way is when i watched Somewhere in Time...the anguish and loneliness in my heart is unbearable that i want to cry. You explomo did it again. Your voice and choice of music really a travel time capsule.
If the power is on, someone is looking after it. Also some boxes was packed in the basement, and buckets collecting water in kitchen. It could be found out if name /address/ came out, or investigated further with neibourghs
Such a beautiful place and I love how you try to give as much of the back story on each one of the homes and the way y'all are so respectful of the home and all of the belongings and the people that they belong to. They you again for taking us along with you. Have a wonderful and blessed day and stay safe.
I love these tours y'all do, not just for the home but the personalities of the former occupiers. In USA we can search ownership of homes by address and taxes owed. A records search gives the history of Grantors/Grantees. Someone is keeping the lights on, I wish it could be repaired before it is totally destroyed (may not be possible). The beer cans are a sign of life, I think. If repaired, this home might be a good house for homeless but with oversight. Best wishes!
There were so many treasures in here. I knew exactly what was in the case you opened. Surprise. Was even telling you how to close it. No. I’m not that old. Be careful of the mold. Finding out a lot about mold. My house got water during Hurricane Ida. Mold will grow wherever water is constantly available. Stay safe. Much love. Continue the great work
Also, I'm NOT a thief, but it would be hard to resist snatching up that fantastic old phone!! Wow. I LUV old phones especially. But even if I was an explorer, which I am not and don't wish to be, but I definitely would not take anything at all from any place if I did as I'd be afraid of something being "attached" to it. Funnily, it was with a telephone that I saw that happen to with some young explorers, they brought it home from an abandoned building of some kind, and it wasn't plugged in, just hung on wall for show of it's "uniqueness" and the phone rang!! They were quick to return it to its original building!! Bet they couldn't do that fast enough! Hopefully the "attachment" was left behind with its return! Do take good care, Tracy/Eastern Canada
Absolutely loved Margarita & Jolans home! I’m sure that homeless people have made it their home since the abandonment! Vandals would have destroyed more of the property! They had very nice things! Sad that the family didn’t come back to claim any air looms or family property😞 Thank you & Sarah for such a wonderful find in Sweden 👍 I loved it ❤️❤️❤️
Wow! A mansion for the first time in Sweden! The location is beautiful, in the middle of nowhere but at least serrounded by nature and amazing trees 😁 it's new and different than the cottages, a big mansion with a lot left inside, but also there is another difference, the vibes! It gave me sad vibes knowing that these people left in a hurry for some reasons, and they never came back, leaving behind them a lot of memories hidden behind the amazing photos hanging on the walls! It looks like a mansion that was so warm and cozy back in the days, i can feel the beautiful ambiance that was there when they used to live here all together and happy, but now it's decaying and close to collapse ❤ they left a lot behind, beautiful fournitures, amazing antique pieces, photos and those beautiful musical instruments, sad but also beautiful to see! I hope someone will save this place if it's not too late, and give it its life again. The drone shots really showed how beautiful the landscape and the vegetations that are surrounding the house!!! Amazing video, thanks and peace out!!! ✌💛💙😁
I just want to applaud you in all your magnificent findings 😊..I'm always at awww in all these lovely homes you take us into. That question will always be in the back of my mind..."what happened and why" it's almost like everyone just decided not to come home and left everything behind..I love the living area it's so homey and all those beautiful pictures of the couple, beautiful. Stay safe healthy and blessed always! From SoCal ☀️
Marvelous Explomo discoveries. I really enjoyed watching, sometimes dreaming and desiring to live or stay even temporarily in such dreamy and dreary mansion. It's nice sometimes to be alone, in communion with serenity, and where the language of those who once lived- their giggles, laughter and sorrow are heard and are engulfing. I don't fear the unseen, i fear the living. It's really awsome, ExPlomos. Keep the marvels!
A very nice place to see I've never seen a small milk can like that we in Pennsylvania back in a day had 10 gallon can's.the violin 🎻 was something special to see and the getar reminded me of my parents they played at home 🏘️ when we were growing up as children the record player in the suitcase was a great find and the close press I've never seen before I love seeing the old photos and the old phone super nice bro thanks for sharing someone s old memories with us it sometimes brings back old memories to me love you bro can't wait until the next one. Fireman 🔥🔥🔥

Hello maureno and Sarah. It was a beautiful house in Sweden.why the family left and leave the house to decaying how sad. Great video . stay safe.🥰👍🏻❤️👏🏻
To me this is a very comfy, cozy home that was Loved. Downstairs looked like it was well cared for. For the most part it seemed neat and tidy. It has a Lovely staircase. This leaves a big question mark for me. What happened and where did they go??

It's really sad 😔 how these beautiful 😍 castles 🏰, houses 🏘 and mansions are left abandoned and no one to care for them. Between Bros of Decay and this channel I truly enjoy watching their videos. I find them very educational and I learn a lot from them.
Marauno call it almost looks like they left in a hurry they took what they had on their backs and left. I wonder what happened to the cats. Unbelievable what was left behind. What is a really beautiful mansion. Thank you so much for taking us on the journey. Just wish we knew what happened to them. As always love from Liz in California💜😎😘🇺🇸
If you are going to trespass and trifle through people's belongings, why not try and find out the rest of the story as to what happened to the people who lived in the home?
Yes would be my place to for vacation in the Somerset or 4 month Winter time with big snow I used to be when I was a Child in East Germany, I would fix the Roof first and take from Germany nice 👍🙂 time there.
Maybe only to pay the Elektrik bill and that's it, to find out in the next City, maybe thay was in a Airplane crash some where.... how knows what happens. Thank you Gay's for this Tour.

A records search gives the history of Grantors/Grantees. Someone is keeping the lights on, I wish it could be repaired before it is totally destroyed (may not be possible). The beer cans are a sign of life, I think. If repaired, this home might be a good house for homeless but with oversight. Best wishes!
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR A
HEART TOUCHED CREATION
DEAR SON 💚💚
Beautiful location 👍
Love your explores!
That sure was a nice house. How sad everything left behind. Another awesome video👏🏼💕👍🏻
Lovely showing of abanded homes. Love your show. ❤❤❤

Thank you for your time and effort. This really helps alot.and it's so nice to go on adventures with you
Also, I'm NOT a thief, but it would be hard to resist snatching up that fantastic old phone!!
Sad that the family didn’t come back to claim any air looms or family property😞 Thank you & Sarah for such a wonderful find in Sweden 👍 I loved it ❤️❤️❤️
So sad, where are these people gone?
Mental illness maybe or alchoholism?

Vocês precisam fazer a América do Sul. Abraços do Brasil. 🇧🇷
Someone must pay elecitry for this house. Because here in Sweden they close off elecitry if no one pay for it, after 3 months close it off.
Awesome video I enjoyed watching thanks 👍
I am new to your channel. So sad to see these empty places. I am watching from Ashburn, Virginia, USA. Thanks for the videos.
It is strange that the power was still on and the company not had turn it of after so long time. Is anyone still pay for the electric?
A very nice place to see I've never seen a small milk can like that we in Pennsylvania back in a day had 10 gallon can's.the violin 🎻 was something special to see and the getar reminded me of my parents they played at home 🏘️ when we were growing up as children the record player in the suitcase was a great find and the close press I've never seen before I love seeing the old photos and the old phone super nice bro thanks for sharing someone s old memories with us it sometimes brings back old memories to me love you bro can't wait until the next one.
Fireman 🔥🔥🔥
Thanks for your effort maureno,

I live in USA, love the wood stove , you don’t see that here , love your videos.
A new adventure 💖😊👍
Someone must have lived there recently since the food brands in the kitchen is not that old.
Un saludo desde Mercedes corrientes Argentina 🇦🇷❤
To me this is a very comfy, cozy home that was Loved. Downstairs looked like it was well cared for. For the most part it seemed neat and tidy. It has a Lovely staircase. This leaves a big question mark for me. What happened and where did they go??
Lantai atas yang besar kamar-kamar tidur, kamar mandi klasik ... keluarga yang berseni tinggi ... Hebat Explomo ...
It's really sad 😔 how these beautiful 😍 castles 🏰, houses 🏘 and mansions are left abandoned and no one to care for them. Between Bros of Decay and this channel I truly enjoy watching their videos. I find them very educational and I learn a lot from them.
Helt otroligt. De e ju bara att flytta in
1980's building finishes and décor. Most mundane but tolerable.
What a nice house 🏠. It's a shame that so many things are left behind 😢. Take care 😍💕🙂❤.
Amazing find. It always leaves you wondering......
I like the Wall papers among other nice details! 👍😃 ❤
Thank you Gay's for this Tour.
thank u - i enjoy ur work on these
