Next to a busy Belgian road lies a lonely house, which has been waiting for a few years to be loved again. Life once flourished in and around the house, yet the property has now been sorely left to the fate of nature. Let's transport ourselves to the life that once took place here: the life of the Belgian couple Mr. Louis en Mrs. Marie-Rosé. Married at young age, they lived a happy and loving life together. All of this until 1994, when Mr. Louis departed this earth due to weak health conditions and Mrs. Marie-Rosé was left as a widower. Her loneliness was soon filled up by the company of plenty of cats and kittens. Cats were eventually not only a distraction to the loss of her husband, but eventually became her obsession. Today, this house is still completely dominated by anything and everything that has to do with cats. Everywhere you look, you'll see something related to these cuddly animals. Today we take a look inside the house of the cat lady, and we'll take you along in our perception.

The best part of these places is that when the owners we there, they loved the home. It makes it harder for me to see that no one cares for the beautiful places they created. Thank you for letting us see a little part of their lives.

I’m right there with you. Those animal trophies are disgusting but it looks like her love of cats sustained her.
I'm amazed how clean the house looks and organized. All those cats items were her treasures. Their all adorable. Some are unique and some valuable. We can't take our treasures with us but I'd hope someone else would treasure them. It's sad their all there just left to decay with time. This home is filled with warmth and love.

This is Steven from Canada...You guys are awesome!! I explore myself here but our buildings as you know are nowhere near as old as many you have explored dating back to 17th and 16th century...Iam absolutely taken back by some of the places you guys document, 200 + year old castles and mansions across Europe!! I am planning a trip for 2023 to Europe and if possible would love to meet up and join you on one of your explorations.
There are many urban explorers as you know but my favorite part of watching you both is your respect within the location, to protect it, shutter it up when possible and best of all how you investigate the people's lives and put a story together. Keep up the awesome work!!

This house is an amazing place! Loved to see how pristine the house is, it just shows how she loved and cared for the cats and herself. I only hope vandals never find this place.

This was a wonderful home loved it. What you thought was a hornets nest was actually a swallows nest. Hope no one else ever finds it. So clean and neat. What a beautiful loving family. Thank you Maureno and Remon

Sorprendente que se encuentre la casa intacta y también la cantidad de figuras póster de gatitos se me hace exagerado pero bueno cada quien tiene sus gustos. Muy buena exploración como siempre Maureno y Remon . Y si me gustaría que algún familiar volviera a darle vida a esa casa y por supuesto al taller que se ve muy triste así.
What a wonderful home! I hope her cats brought her comfort after her husband passed.I know my dogs and cats were a comfort to me after I lost my husband. This house is so clean and neat she was an excellent housekeeper. It’s a shame her child or children haven’t been able to clean the place out and sell the property. Maybe if she died without a will everything is tied up in probate? How sad if that is the case, it could take years to get through the courts. This is unbelievable. The video, the story, the footage. Gorgeous.
It's sad to see when the properties set up by a couple in their lives would just be neglected when both left. That's why I left my own house in the city to maintain our big house here in the province and farm surrounding it and othet lands set up by my parents who left already (Dad in 1986 at 65 y.o. and Mom last 2017 at 93 y.o.) because I pity if it will be neglected. Both my siblings migrated and citizens now, older brother in Canada and US, younger brother. They have families and our parents' properties take a backseat for them. If I've pushed through migrating to Australia when younger, we'll have the same situation for the house of my parents. But reality sucks, I too am senior age now and nobody lives forever. Unless my niece would take charge who also lives with family in Dubai, will also have the same scenario. It's hard not to have but also hard to have properties if there's no one who'll inherit them with the same care.

What a lovely home! I would be happy to live in such a place. Being a cat fan myself, I found several things quite interesting (I have two cats). The only evidence in the home that she had cats there, besides the photos, was the cat scratching pole. No toys, no cat dishes, cat beds or cat food anywhere, anything like that. Which made me think someone either removed all of those things after she passed, or she no longer had cats living with her in the end. Another thing I found interesting is that many of the photos that were not hanging up, were laying on things, not standing up or hung up, just in clusters. Another abandoned explorer left them lying about? Find it odd that the daughter seemed not to want any of those personal things. Had to laugh at the dog next door....he was still barking when you were in the attic. Thanks for sharing this. One of the best explores I've seen in a while.
Perhaps someone took the cats to their home along with all their belongings.

BRILLIANT to see Remon and Maureno back together again - the BEST combination as you both work so well together. What a lovely house and in such good condition. By the way, that 'wasp' nest was actually a Swallows nest - that's why there are 2 swallows painted each side of it on the wall. Lets hope the family sort the place out and it doesn't fall into disrepair and revert back to Nature. WELL DONE you two for yet another excellent explore. Thank you :-)

Excellent video as always Maureno and Remon. The house is like a pretty cottage which are plentiful in Belgium. A thoroughly under valued country in my opinion.
I love cats and I hope they gave this poor widow pleasure in her final years. The car repair area was a surprise at the end!!

This is one of my favourite homes because it had great vibes. You could see there was love in that home...the lady of the house; the wife ran a very tidy home right upto the time she got old and became ill. She seemed like a lively happy lady.

What I missed that you didn't say in this video was, "indeed, indeed".😁 I really enjoyed this house. It was almost like they were on a long vacation somewhere. So much left. I don't understand why people argue over stuff. Just take the photos that you want, donate what you don't want & sell all the rest to split the proceeds 50/50 if there isn't a will. This situation should remind them that you can't take it with you. Memories are what's important. Great video as usual Maureno. 👍❤️

The black ‘velvet’ coat with a curly surface in the master bedroom is a classic Astrakan or Persian lambswool coat. They used the skins of unborn (or just born) lambs to make these. The car in the picture is not an Audi. It’s a Fiat Croma from the late 1980’s and I guess it’s the same one that is still in the garage!
My mother had a black Astrakhan coat. I remember it well for its distinct texture and pattern. I don't think she would have bought it if she knew where it came from. I didn't know until I read your comment.
