In the quiet solitude of nature, embraced by an expansive garden and intertwining rivers, stands this “Solar” - a majestic traditional Portuguese manor, once pulsating with the art of winemaking. Its isolation from nearby settlements intensifies its serene aura, imbuing the air with whispers of its rich past. The manor was once the heart of a wine-farming family, contributing modestly to the local viticulture.
The household was steered by the esteemed Joaquiera-Dileiros, whose successful factory ventures bestowed upon him enough affluence to construct this architectural marvel.
Within its walls, the house guards stories of generations past. Portraits of ancestors gaze silently from ornate frames, their unspoken tales bound in timeworn letters scattered across antique desks of exquisite workmanship. Their devout Christianity echoes in every corner, adding a sacred touch to the dwelling.
Now, the manor yields to nature's persistent pull. Dry leaves scatter across the gallery, and vines creep up through the windows, mirroring the family tree's branching lineage. Since 2010, the mansion has weathered a decade of solitude after the demise of its last inheritor, Francisco. Left alone, the grand Solar stands, a monument slowly being reclaimed by nature.

Definitely love this style of filming. Nice to have you back, Remon. You guys are awesome together in videos
Watching from North Texas USA 🇺🇸 Love yall
I can’t believe someone would say y’all dust the rooms! Jealous people say things about people who live their lives like y’all
Keep adventuring Maureno and Ramon
I'd love to do what these guys do. But my age and physical health is not good for this kind of adventure.😊
I love the two of you together again 😅
This place is huge. This place is beautiful. The pictures are amazing. Everything is awesome. I like the background music that played during the basement scene.
I love all the furniture, truly amazing pieces in this home. The windows with the stained glass are beautiful. Thanks for another great explore🙂

Just amazing. Thanks for taking me along. You both rock. Keep up amazing me!
Super video. Hasta el próximo
Hey you two! Happy to see you both again 😊 Especially excited Remon 😂 Another great video guys! This Portuguese series is fire. Well this manor is for real a time capsule. The cobewebs are the best proof for that! Sad to see that they took that much stuff, but still they left all their family photos 😢 it made me think that they didn't take anything, and all the belongings that are missing has been stolen! Anyways, overall, it was a great explore. I enjoyed it! The manor is great, and i like the garden around it. And the beautiful nature and the cute river, wow! I guess it is a great idea that Remon has a gopro. I like to see two perspectives. And about the " flour " , well that is the joke of the year 😂 i remember seeing it on your stories and i laughed really hard at it lmao. I just imagine you both going inside these places, flour bags in your hands, and going from a room to another throwing the flour around 😂 some people have crazy imagination haha. Anws, thanks for another great explore, it was great. See you guys on the next one. Can't wait! Portugal holds the best surprises ❤
Hello there, dear Maureno, what an exciting and again amazing explore adventure of an old mansion in the beautiful country of Portugal!!
Very well done, bravo! - Your introduction is of an unbelievably high poetical language quality and outstanding formulation
competence! Super, bro! - I also found the idea and the results very interesting to film the interior of the house from two
different camera-perspectives. - Over all a really huge location with some rooms still retaining quite a time capsule vibe.
Some wonderful furniture with beautiful wood carvings from the late 19th century were visible in one living room,
but also in the dining room, so completely frozen in time, were very antique pieces of nicely carved furniture visible!.
This was such an amazing and fascinating explore adventure, - and very enjoyable to watch!!
Wishing you all the best, and I am already looking forward to your next Portugal video! - Peace and kindest regards.
Hola 👋🏼 Maureno y Remon! This explore is exquisitely described with both of ur silky voices. Everything is documented with perfection and respect.
What a stunning time capsule. U both r super stars🤩 and love seeing u together again!!!
💯💯💯🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼💕🤠👋🏼
The 2 cameras is kinda cool. To see what Remon is looking at is fun!!! Great job guys as alwaysssssss 🥰🥰🥰
Loved the double cameras. Also liked seeing how you approached the location. That was a great explore guys! Thank you.
Hi
Schön euch beide wieder zusammen zu sehen. Exzellentes Video Jungs, danke dafür.
Bless you both 😘😘
Portugal explores like this just are so fabulous! How wonderful it is to be inside a place like that.Super capture on video of a superlative place!
well by law your trespassing a private property so you can be shot down and no one cares...There are no abandoned houses in Portugal. The house always belong to somenoe,, thta ahve to pay a tax.
Maureno, you and Ramon did a fabulous job. What a beautiful old home. I absolutely love the kitchen again. Just makes me sad that all the pictures were left. It was good to see them, of course, but it makes me sad that the family didn’t take the pictures. If they took other stuff that they thought was important, they left their history. I never do you get that. What does a priest need a vault that large for? I love the basement to really interesting. I wonder how old that building was if it was pre-1800s. Man, I bet it was gorgeous in its heyday. I love that back porch overlooking the garden all that natural light. Thank you both.💜🤗😎🫶🇺🇸
Love those old photos. I have a bunch that I inherited and am in the process of organizing and cataloging them. Those old photos have a charm that modern ones don't. I even have tin type photos. Those are very rare.
oh my god ! its chilling the SOLAR❤❤❤❤
I love you-all's respect even of older properties. Keep up the good walkthroughs. I know I'll never be able to visit personally, I appreciate you for doing it for me.❤️❣️❣️
So glad to see you both back together looking amazing.
HEEMOSO VERLOS JUNTOS, HERMOSISIMO CLIMA SE OBSERVA, INCREÍBLE LUGAR MUY BELLO 😘🥰😍🤩LIKE Y COMPARTO !!!! 😘😘😘😘😘
You guys have such a great Working relationship - you really compliment one another and have such a great enthusiasm level❤
So loving each video - I even photograph the TV screen when you guys find such incredible and beautiful tiles - it gives me art inspiration 😊
Thank you from Sanford North Carolina. I love hearing you talk. You paint a beautiful picture of these forgotten places.
This was a fascinating explore. The furnishings were just beautiful. I loved the oven too. The first two times I tried to watch this video I fell asleep! Your nice voices combined with the soft music did it 😂. I make wine at home and you are correct that old wine probably tastes like vinegar😂...not stored properly. Thanks for bringing this to us. Take care.
Y'all make my weekend
Nice to see you guys together and this house was old but nice.
I want to thank you that you have Finnish translation. It is pleasure to watch your wonderful videos. Thank you so much 🫶

And I also Love the Decorations party😊 I love to see you both filming together, God bless your Channel Explomo ❤❤❤ see you and the next video explore thanks❤
Beautiful home, glad you didnt drink any of the wine , it had sedement particles inside x
Maureano hope your arm is feeling better, good to see you both😊
I've read you can put flour on gravestone so that you can read them. It is very funny that someone would think that you have time to go buy flour and pack/carry flour around with you while you are exploring. You would need at least 10 lbs! It's hard enough to carry all the gear you need just to film, not to mention water and a snack. If you pay me, I will carry the flour around for you and find a good way to disperse it before you film!😂
😂
I really enjoy seeing You two together, Your places you find are so awesome
I like the two camera perspective of you two...😎 I'm so glad Lasley #brosofdecay, recommended your page...
In reference to time stamp 38:22 where you said someone thinks that flour was thrown to make it dusty....yeah, dust and flour are not the same in colour or texture...😂
Convents were usually where the Nun's would reside
Life is so damn short... it's cool to look at others in the world.
Moooooorning folks,,, greetings from Indonesia.❤😊.
Grande Maureno
This is such a beautiful looking place. That river and the surtounding area is so beautiful. Looks peaceful and cool .
Thank you I truly enjoyed it be safe out there in your Ventures and God bless the two of you

Yes I commend you both on doing these tours in English. Quite a feat. Someday I hope to be fluent like you in different languages. Bravo! And thank you.🐟

And hes taking a little time off. I follow his channel as well. Keep him in your thoughts.
Thanks from Texas USA. ......❤
AMO vosso trabalho.
Another great exploration ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ so happy seeing you both exploring together again
Nice beautiful home , love the high ceiling in the living room, love the kitchen it’s big and traditional, sad to see it got abandoned, really like the property around the home, thank you for sharing
the house is beautiful
Absolutely LOVED the new format, Maureno and Remon! Really enjoyed getting to see how you guys get into these places. It's nice to see some of the "behind-the-scenes", and also helps you be able to appreciate the work that goes into being able to tour these homes etc. With the both of you being outfitted with cameras, it gives dual perspectives of the explore, and also gives you both equal time on screen and behind the camera. It's really neat, and I hope to see you guys do it more in the future. I really liked this house. With it being so far out in the country, I can imagine how peaceful and serene it must have been when it was still inhabited. I also really enjoyed seeing all the evidence of faith scattered throughout the home. It's faith that gives a home its life, and brings a family together. Always love to see that in abandoned homes. Thanks so much, Explomo, for yet another fantastic adventure. God bless you guys and stay safe! ♥👍
P.S. I laughed so hard at the thought of your guys sprinkling flour everywhere for a nice, "dusty" effect. Honestly, if you guys were sprinkling flour everywhere, then you need to be commended for getting it that evenly coated! Lol! Anyone who works with flour at all knows, it's all but impossible to get it to not look clumpy in areas. Not unless you also carry around sieves and strainers. Can't believe the craziness of some people who have nothing better to do than complain and bad mouth people. You all are doing great work. Ignore the complainers and keep going!
I love this huge beautiful mansion thank you so much I love you guys are de best my most favorite explorers Maureno & Remon. Keep safe and safe travels on your next adventure/explore. Hope i can see your next video. Cya for now . Mrs Barbara Gravely NWP,Fl. USA baby
Beijo no coração ❤️❤️❤️
Very beautiful house thanks that was awesome video

Hello Explomo👋...
Enjoyed the tour. Thank you both for your great adventures ❤
If the bottle of wine is standing up it will be no good. If you find bottles that have been stored laying down the wine keeps the cork wet and it won’t leak. If they are standing up the cork dries out and air can get into the bottle and ruin the wine.
What good is all of that congealed family history and ancestor worship when there is no family left? Beautiful explore. Maybe the castle was kept that way so you could document it.
What ancestor worship? I am confused 😕
Wow! thank you for the wonderful explore guys!
Thank you😊
I am really excited to see the video...thanks and good luck
Thank you for a really lovely video.
Excelente video !!

Sou do Brasil . Rio grande do Sul . Fronteira com o Uruguai
Love!
Great video
Tudo lindo demais! Como sempre me pergunto sem esperar resposta: quem viveu aí? Foram felizes? Quais suas angústias e expectativas? Quais pensamentos tinham? Mta energia nesses lugares.
Hermoso realmente gracias
Amazing tour!
Excellent video guys. Lovely place

48 minutes in the people in the older photos/porteaits were late victorian early edwardian and it looks ike when they died the building was turned into a seminary for training priests think the young newly weds were possibly the older couples son or daughter and moved away
