Svea was born 1923 and passed on in 1999. Tore was born 1910 and passed on 1990. It seems as there is at least one surviving child or close relative who now is in his 80's. I found some more people alive that probably are closely related as well. Based on what I found, I would guess (!) that the wedding picture depicts their son with his wife. The b&w wedding photo you found upstairs prorbably depicts Svea and Tore. In Sweden you will often find that these places are abandoned because the people become hospitalised or end up in homes for the elderly. These people often can't visit these houses and even less take care of them. When the people die, if there are no heirs, the houses will go to Allmänna arvsfonden. A national inheritance fund. Sometimes the houses just remain where they are. Falling apart as time goes by. Thanks for sharing this with us. I really like to pause the video frequently and just take it all in. It's also interesting to see what you can find online about the people that used to live in these places. The "very strange" wooden thing you found (at about ~30 minutes) was used to churn butter :-). The "black thing" (muff) that you found in the hat box at about 34 minutes were used to warm the hands of the ladies. They inserted the hands one from from each side.
I was thinking the same. The b&w photo was a graduation picture of their son and the color photo was his wedding pic. My husband is Swedish and I recognized how the graduation picture looks.
I am just blown away with your respect for people who have departed and your eloquent way of talking and your maturity thank you for being who you are your awesome

The long handle wooden tub was a butter churn. The black fur is called a muff and put the string around your neck and the lady would put their hand in both sides to keep them warm. Thank you for this wonderful place.
Thank you, Ruth Beck. You said it all so I don't have to anymore. You are right, it's a butter churn and a lady's muff. But the young kids nowadays would not know that. Lol.
This couple really loved their home! You can see and feel the warmth within the dwelling. Every ounce of their characters is on display for us all to witness. It’s a tragedy that this home has been just allowed to decay. Nature taking over. But then maybe that is better than being trashed by people who know no better! It still retains the love and dignity of those who resided there!! Beautiful.
Меня, как русского человека удивляет, почему эти люди настолько одиноки, что после их кончины усадьба оказалась никому не нужна. И это не обязательно должны быть родственники. It surprises me that someone, a family member or dear friend hasn’t inherited this home. Surely there must be a Will or procedure that follows when someone passes away. These lovely people treasured their home and I hope that it can be saved and loved by new owners before it deteriorates beyond repair.
I just joined on this channel, and I'm from Indonesia. From the first time I watched the house, I saw that even though this house was left by its occupants for a long time, the equipments in this house still looked good and neatly arranged. I didn't even see any broken items or rats there.
The black furry item in the box on the stairs looks like a "muff", which women used/carried to keep their hands warm. Such pristine condition! No dust. Looks like someone could just come in and carry on. I hope the roof is repaired.
Incredible find Maureno!! 24 years nearly untouched is just amazing. You definitely get a fee for the couple, sporty, humane and practical with a zest and enthusiasm for life. I’m very sad they are no longer with us but judging from their house the led full and rich (by that I mean not just financial) lives. The workshop, UNICEF flags and bicycles and medals are real evidence of this. The old wind up phone was a real joy to see! My aunt used to have one in the 90s and they were just going out of fashion then. I loved it though so it brought an instant flashback of happy memories when it saw it in this Swedish cottage. Wonderful as ever and you brightened up my gloomy Sunday before I start work. All the best and enjoy the Caribbean sun Maureno 😎👏
the tall wooden thing with the long stick is a butter churn, the black furry thing in the box in the stair case was a Muff, you hang it around your neck and stick your hands in it in the winter time to warm your hands
That varies by a lot. Unfortunately lots of Swedes nowadays don’t think of anybody else but themselves. It also means vandalism and theft is common. But this home is untouched, I agree!
It appears to me that someone has gone through and taken whatever it was they wanted. There are a few pieces of furniture, and one lamp in particular that look like they are very expensive. I am surprised no one has removed them from the home. That large, black fur thing in the box was a muff. You put the string over your head, and let the muff hang down in front of your waist. You then insert a hand into each opening on the ends of the muff to keep your hands warm. I am 74. They were popular when I was young. I had a white one made from rabbit fur. I loved it.
What you found in the box you thought was a pen is the wood burning kit. LOVE this place. And the fur piece is a muff, for the ladies hands to keep them warm.
I can't believe it is in fairly good condition. I love seeing all the old pictures. I like to see people's lives and how things were back in the day. Stay healthy and safe. Say hi! to Remon and Sara. 💖💖☮️☮️
The black fur thing you took out of the wooden hat box is a muff. You stick your hands into the openings on either side to keep them warm. Actually, used for formal dress, like the top hat for the man was for formal. The wooden cylindrical item with the pole and wooden cup attached that slid down into it is a butter churn. You fill the wooden cylinder with milk, then pound the pole down and up and down and up for several hours without stopping and the butter (fat in the milk) starts to collect at the top. You can then lift the butter out with the small wooden "cup".
The dark fur piece (appears to be mouton) is called a muff... you put your hands in either side to keep them warm... may also have been a zippered pocket inside... the string on it was probably to hang it up, that's not part of it. Sometimes there is a small woven rope or silk tie inside to hang off one hand... hers was probably from the 40s and 50s... the origins date back to the 16th century and at one time men used them as well in the 17th and 18th century Seems like they lived a full life....
Hello, from 30.00 to 30.10 is a butter turner to make butter for breads. In the first box on the stairs was hand muffs to keep your hands worm. love your video.
I'm almost half Swedish. Watching the houses you've explore there has been special for me. I did a dna test and have found a lot of history from Sweden. My Grandfathers sir name was Sederlin . I'm told we have a bunch of family there I've never known about. Thank you this has been very special
Amazing house. The ground floor rooms were all so neat and tidy, especially the kitchen, WOW! The lady of the house it seems was a very neat housekeeper. Absolutely love, love the color going to the upstairs and the wallpaper. The item in the hat box is called a muffler, women used them to keep their hands warm in the cold. My father had one of those clocks that folded up closed. So sad that these memories are left to decay. Great video. I really enjoyed this one! Thank you!
Absolutely amazing and very moving. I'm from southern Sweden myself and have seen many interiors like this one - but while they were still lived in, of course! :) The young man in a student cap seen at 0:40 could almost have been my father.
The Nissi Orphanage in Narok Kenya is looking for furniture and other things if you want to donate to this orphanage or other orphanages. It seems people respect other people's homes more in Sweden than here in the UK most houses that are abandoned would be trashed and many things stolen. Lovely to see that these in Sweden are still intact 🥰
Even after 2 decades of abandonment this place is still fresh and well preserve .... Looks like they left the place few weeks ago.... Thank you bro Explomo to share us this wonderful beautiful place... There are many who make video of abandoned places but I like yours... Your voice and videos so cool and sweet... The tall wooden plunger item downstairs I believe it's to churn butter. The thing in the hat box looks like a ladies muff/hand warmer. It hangs around their neck and stick one hand in either side. Great video.
Really enjoyed this explore. I didn't expect the house to be as expansive as it was at first glance. If it were not for that one area of leakage and water damage, it looks as if someone could easily walk in, tidy up a bit, and start living there again. I have a hard time imagining that it has been abandoned for about 25 years! Honestly, places like this are true time capsules. It's like walking through a living photograph. Quite remarkable. Maureno, I don't know how you find these unique places, but keep them coming! God bless you and stay safe. :)
The black fur looked like a fir muff. Elegant ladies put their hands inside, in cold weather, when out in town. Very elegant. In place of gloves.think cord went around neck so that the muff fell in front of coat.
What a lovely house. Some beautiful pieces of furniture also some very wise words about living life while your able we never know when health can take a turn for the worse.❤️
I love old houses. Thank you for taking every detail into account, it is very interesting and nostalgic at the same time. As a curious fact, I don't know if you noticed that all the clocks are stopped at three.
Wow! How fascinating to see these tours. Its sad and a mystery and yet your voice is calming. St. Patrick's day is my Birthday and as I get older I realize I Got too much stuff, Lol! I will get rid of most of my items so its not a burden.
What a beautiful home and a beautiful life these people had. Often when I see these abandoned homes i feel sad. Not this one. They had a life well lived. If i had been there I wound probably still have my butt planted in a comfy chair and looking at all of their photos. Borrowing their memories for a while. Wonderful video!
Oh my thought my mom was the only one to leave a vacuum clean out in the middle of the room. She said that people would not notice the cluster that way😏
I think that the wedding picture downstairs, the one in color. Maybe is maybe their son of daughter that got married. As old as they seem. It would not have been in color. But the one picture upstairs maybe was them. About the right time frame. This made me sad. All of the pictures! No one took them! No family? ☹️ it’s in fantastic shape for being empty for so long!
I’m so glad I stumbled onto your wonderful video. You did the owners proud in the way you presented their home and possessions with so much respect .. your calm voice lent an air of mystery .. so happy to be a new sub..
Still a beautiful place to see the thing you pulled the wooden stick or as I call it a wooden handle was a butter churn although i believe it was a replica only a model. The hat box had a hand wormer you put the string around your neck and put one hand in on each side you again bro found a great place thanks for sharing this. Fireman 🔥🔥🔥
Beautiful life they had! They would hike and they loved collecting items of all kinds. She took care of her husband with love and a smile. If I were them in Heaven, I would say “ Please take my things that make you happy and give them a home and love.” 🙏🏼😊❤️
It only shows that we are temporary in this world.... im sad and realized that everything will left behind.....but thier memories continue us to know how they live in this world...best regards from phillipines
I love to see the care and respect you always have for the belongings of those that have departed this earth. Have you ever felt the presence or seen the spirit of anyone whose home you were in ? Please respond as the subject is very interesting to me. I love and enjoy your videos.
In America there are abandoned houses close to busy roads. Nobody wants a home next to a busy road. Someone could make a few hundred selling what they left behind online. The important thing is it lasted the elderly woman the rest of her life became I'm sure the celliing wasn't falling down when she was alive.
The best part of why i love these videos is bc of my blood line.Irish,German,Spanish,Sweden,Italian,Norway, Heck there is lots more altho im stoppin it there for now.I am 51 and so now im lookin for my familys.

I was thinking the same. The b&w photo was a graduation picture of their son and the color photo was his wedding pic. My husband is Swedish and I recognized how the graduation picture looks.
And where in sweden are we ?
interesting details
I am in agreement even on churn and muff. I also pause the video and enlarged it to get better detail ❤

the tall wooden thing with the long stick is a butter churn, the black furry thing in the box in the stair case was a Muff, you hang it around your neck and stick your hands in it in the winter time to warm your hands
What a lovely home, thank you. The Swedish people seem to be very respectful of abandoned houses.
That varies by a lot. Unfortunately lots of Swedes nowadays don’t think of anybody else but themselves. It also means vandalism and theft is common. But this home is untouched, I agree!
So amazing their house isn't dusty or moldy at all.
C'est quoi traduire en arabe
Sometimes there is a small woven rope or silk tie inside to hang off one hand... hers was probably from the 40s and 50s... the origins date back to the 16th century and at one time men used them as well in the 17th and 18th century
Seems like they lived a full life....
Hello, from 30.00 to 30.10 is a butter turner to make butter for breads. In the first box on the stairs was hand muffs to keep your hands worm. love your video.
At 33.45 -- that's a muff for cool weather -- you tuck your hands into each side to keep them warm. The cord goes over your head so you don't lose it.
Muff 🤣
@@loganstroganoff1284 Moffe in Norwegian….I have one but I dont use it
This is a beautiful tribute to this couple and their home
I'm almost half Swedish. Watching the houses you've explore there has been special for me. I did a dna test and have found a lot of history from Sweden. My Grandfathers sir name was Sederlin . I'm told we have a bunch of family there I've never known about. Thank you this has been very special
There are 44 individuals in Sweden with that surname
@@kristinajoelsson9337 Thank you. Thats so cool. There are some serious sir names they have in Sweden .
My Swedish family names were Berglund and my granother married a Bergman. She said she didn't want to change her initials lol
Wspaniały przekaz , zdecydowanie uwielbiam klimat jaki tworzysz nawet w małym opuszczonym domu, bez zbędnych pobocznych rozmów.
I miss Ramon. His
personality made your day! Indeed Indeed!
Mercy Children's Center in Kisimu Kenya, and Uganda orphanages Africa, Democratic Republic of Congo, or Bungoma Kenya orphanages. Toba Tek Singh or Lahore Pakistan orphanages could use these things.
I enjoy it our show. Please next time there is electricity on in a place will you try out the radio, and turn on more lights. Plus show us the old cloths in greater detail.. shoes too! Tks!
I have just started watching your videos. I have to say you show a tremendous amount of kindness and respect for the places you visit. Unbelievable at all the once treasured items still left in the homes. I enjoy the videos. Thanks
КАК ВСЁ МИЛО!!! СПАСИБО🙏💕 ЗА ПОТРЯСАЮЩЕЕ ВИДИО!!!
New to your channel , I absolutely love how respectful you are with their belongings and telling their stories with so much love and care. I am binge watching all your videos this weekend.

This home was definitely filled with love. You could feel it as you went room to room. I truly liked this explore.
You found a muff in the box, keeps your hands warm.

It seems people respect other people's homes more in Sweden than here in the UK most houses that are abandoned would be trashed and many things stolen. Lovely to see that these in Sweden are still intact 🥰
Блин россия такая же

Moreno,I am so tired of other channel, your video is so calm.
I am so amazed by how beautiful that living room is after 29 years abandoned
Even after 2 decades of abandonment this place is still fresh and well preserve .... Looks like they left the place few weeks ago.... Thank you bro Explomo to share us this wonderful beautiful place... There are many who make video of abandoned places but I like yours... Your voice and videos so cool and sweet... Keep going... 👍👍👍❤️ Loads of Love from Nagaland (... Northeast India).... ❤️👍
hi explomo you gained another subscriber from the philippines 🇵🇭 your very passionate on what you do and very professional and respectful towards the past owners of the house. you are very detailed on showing us all the rooms and throw on explaining every back ground of the past owners. glad to subscribe in to your channel cant wait to see more adventures from you guys 👏👏 stay safe and healthy 😊
The tall wooden plunger item downstairs I believe it's to churn butter. The thing in the hat box looks like a ladies muff/hand warmer. It hangs around their neck and stick one hand in either side. Great video.
Thank you for the beautiful exploration and for keeping the language clean. I appreciate your respect for the property.
It haunts me that these amazing houses just sit
The black fur looked like a fir muff. Elegant ladies put their hands inside, in cold weather, when out in town. Very elegant. In place of gloves.think cord went around neck so that the muff fell in front of coat.
I get such a cozy, loving, and caring feeling when I see the inside of this house. Like being at my grandmother's during my childhood.
I always enjoyed his videos just a yr ago.
I’m so grateful that you do these explores, and honor the people that once called these places home. Bless you. ❤️
Wow! How fascinating to see these tours. Its sad and a mystery and yet your voice is calming. St. Patrick's day is my Birthday and as I get older I realize I Got too much stuff, Lol! I will get rid of most of my items so its not a burden.
Ребята, спасибо за интересные путешествия! Вы молодцы! 👍❤
Очень красивый светлый дом 🏠...жаль
Не пойму где их спальня где они спали 🙄
Im so sad......so very very beautiful house....oh my God!!!!
❤💕💕💕💕💕
What a beautiful home and a beautiful life these people had. Often when I see these abandoned homes i feel sad. Not this one. They had a life well lived. If i had been there I wound probably still have my butt planted in a comfy chair and looking at all of their photos. Borrowing their memories for a while. Wonderful video!
놀라울뿐입니다
이 멋진 여정을 앞으로도 함께 하겠습니다~~
Absolutely beautiful, a life story that stayed here, sad to see abandoned
Good video. Your voice is so soothing. I need a nap after the video is over. Thank you for being so respectful.
Oh my thought my mom was the only one to leave a vacuum clean out in the middle of the room. She said that people would not notice the cluster that way😏
My grandmother is on the pictures. And on several of the paintings. Visit the house with my grandfather and have coffe with T&S very Nice couple.
The curtains of absolutely beautiful
The tall slender thing with the pole in it is a butter churn.
It only shows that we are temporary in this world.... im sad and realized that everything will left behind.....but thier memories continue us to know how they live in this world...best regards from phillipines
These videos always make me want to know more about the people that lived there and what happened to them.
The black item in brown hat box is a hand warmer for cold winter months..
YAAAAY Sweden. I'm so excited.
There’s no vandalism. This is wonderful. What a find! This could have belonged to my grandparents.
I love to see the care and respect you always have for the belongings of those that have departed this earth. Have you ever felt the presence or seen the spirit of anyone whose home you were in ? Please respond as the subject is very interesting to me. I love and enjoy your videos.
Very cool! The strange thing by the fireplace is a butter churn.
