You don’t have to do none of this. Just take half of your fender cover off and stick your hand inside. All you need to do is remove the clips and unplug the bulb. Then put everything back in place
Good video but i need to replace the daytime running lights i do not understand how you ar supposed to do this wwith the rediulous headlight assembly on 2015 Audi A3
I was able to get to it using a bit of experience removing the bulbs on Ford fusions. I halfway removed the wheelwell panel and stuck my hand in there and figured out the rest by feel.
Something I did with mines…. I took the half of the wheel well/fender liner and stuck my hand inside and swapped for the new one. I didn’t have to do 89% of what he did. That was way to Much work. The passenger was a bit easier for me. But yeah, if it was the shop and we werebto do it against the one who did the video we’ll be done way faster and less headace

Sent mine in for some paintwork on the grille. Came back with condensation in the headlight and now the highbeam bulb isn't working 🙂 Thanks though this is going to help when I'm replacing it.
Ugh audi just performed a fuel jet pump recall and when I got it back today complete condensation and both hi low beams shot! Literally had to drive home in porch black bc daytime runners don't do anything in dark!
