We've been in Belihul Oya and The Glenrock in March 2024. It was really one of our favourites in Sri Lanka. So quiet and peacefull.

Thank you so much for encouraging travellers to be clean and eco friendly when traveling around Sri Lanka. So much of it is untouched, but that is slowly starting to fade, and many don’t do a good job of disposing of their trash properly, so let’s keep Sri Lanka beautiful even when it gets more popular! I wish these up country areas didn’t have so many pine trees, they are not native. They make the mountains look ugly, and take away from its natural rainforests. We should promote native vegetation instead to preserve the forest cover we have left.

Srilanka is one of my favourite countries. In 2018 i visited this country with my 12 colleagues and made trip at Kandy, Galle as well as some historical places. Actually it's a pearl of the Indian Ocean. Love from Bangladesh. ❤

Found my next destination when coming to Sri Lanka in the future. As you say I can imagine that it is a lot of fun when you go as a group to somewhere like this. However I think I need to get my fitness levels up for all the hiking etc needed. Thankyou for a lovely insight to a place I did not know about😊

Gorgeous village! Seldom one sees that many shades of green nowadays in one spectrum. And them cave paintings, look like they were done last Thursday; I wonder how often they see conservation? Amazing.
