I’m Sri Lankan and One of the best documentaries I have watched in my life! My japanese wife was able to understand the narration without a sweat. And it was like reading a book and imagining about sri lanka. Best Narration, Best videography and best BGM selection! All the best!

There is nothing called Sri Lankan music. It is wrong. The lyrics are in Sinhala and the music is Buddhist Pirith chanting. This is the correct description from ancient times.
There is nothing called a Sri Lankan language nor Sri Lankan writing. There is no Sri Lankan alphabet. There is Sinhala language, the Tamil language and the English language. The three most important and spoken languages in Sri Lanka. The Music in Sri Lanka can also be categorised accordingly. The language used to write the lyrics defines the identity of the music. If the lyrics are in the Sinhala language then invariably the song or the music will be identified as Sinhala music.😊
