On April 20th, in Kyoto City, where there is a legend that ghosts roamed around during the Heian period, an event was held where people from all over the country dressed up as ghosts and walked around, drawing a huge crowd.
This event, named ``Ichijo Hyakki Yagyo'', is an annual event that has been held since 2005 at Daishogun Shoten on Ichijo-dori, Kamigyo-ku, Kyoto City, based on the legend that monsters roamed the streets during the Heian era. .
On the 20th, around 6:30 p.m., just after it started to get dark, about 100 costumed monsters from all over the country appeared one after another in the shopping district of the venue.
In addition to monster cats and red demons, there were many other monsters roaming around, including ``Mabie,'' a monster that has become a hot topic in the corona virus attack as a monster that wards off epidemics, and the shopping district was bustling with people.
