    Like I mentioned to you guys 2+ years ago, I'll live vicariously through the hammer, and keep mine stock for the time being. Great to see the hammer is back. Hoping the 3rd time is a charm!

    Glad you’re getting your truck back on the road once again. I would leave it stock considering the fact those motors from the factory overtime for reliability aspect aren’t built for the blowers extra force of induction.

      Respectfully… if there is any V8 on the planet built for boost (that didn’t come with it), it’s most definitely the Coyote.

    It’s actually heartbreaking to me to see so many F1 50s blow their engines. How many guys with Shelby trucks have experienced. Catastrophic engine failure as well. It’s actually quite sad to me. Hope you fellas are doing great tho!!

    Maybe should build a motor to take the boost, not using good used ones, and possibly build it for boost, not stock parts. Cats are junk once you put that much debris into them. No amount of time will fix that.

    • @ghenry85
      @ghenry85 10 месяцев назад

      It used to be that certain internal parts on turbocharged engines had to be better material that the na version. Does the Coyote have those needed parts out of the box? No idea.
      If it were me I'd either a)find a motor that is boosted from the factory.
      B) build the engine from the bottom up with better than stock parts and engineer a custom power plant.
      Either way if I was building a race engine, I'd bump up the compression ratio and run e85 or higher.

    • @ghenry85
      @ghenry85 10 месяцев назад

      Oh you are dead on about the cats being on borrowed time. I had a PCV go in my last car, causing it to drink a chunk of its own oil. A year later needed a new cat.

      @@TwinTurboLsx my truck is way slower lol. I did a simple borla s catback and a s&b intake and had plans to tune it. Then i moved and the e-85 station is way across town now. To top it off ive had issues since day one with my 10r80. It was finally replaced early this year at 59,500 miles. A month later the transmission oil pan gasket blew out leaving me stranded and had to be towed. New transmission has some of the same jitters, hard shifts, etc so im still very hesitant on tuning it. Really considered selling it to be honest. I love the truck but dont love all the problems ive had.
