Nice information. . Be careful what you feed your mind. Avoid comparing yourself with others, reduce watching negative social media and avoid constipation as it affects the mind. Your breathing is closely related to the brain [mind] and gives relief from stress-anxiety. For a relaxed mind observe the sensations of your incoming--outgoing breath at the entrance of the nostrils for 10-15 minutes or more. You can sit or lay down anywhere, be as still as possible because stillness reduces thoughts--eyes open or closed--No deep breathing. Don’t fight your thoughts. Never meditate with expectations. Make it a lifetime habit to observe your breath day and night before sleep, when travelling, when reading, at the workplace etc, etc. Best wishes--Counsellor.
wish i could take it. i have visual snow which gives ma anxiety and Psilocybin can cause visual snow for some people that use hallucinogenics. so if i take it, it could make my visual snow worse.
@@lauriemtz8616 Deep breathing does not suit everyone as it could affect the lungs. Have you noticed that the incoming-outgoing breath speed changes as per your mood--very fast when angry and slow when relaxed. Since the last 20 yrs I have made it a habit to observe my breath at the entrance and within the nostrils and feel relaxed. This is a famous international meditation practice known as vipaasna practiced in many countries. If there is a centre in your city then join because the 10 day retreat is free and life transforming. The way I’ve found to make panic attacks much less frequent and severe is to just lean into them. There’s a great audiobook I listened to called “Anxiety and Panic” by Dr. Harry Barry that talks about this and helped me tremendously. People who have never had anxiety or panic attacks don’t understand how scary it is, but just remember, you’re not alone in this.
Anxiety is a fear of nothing, while stress is due to a external threat, angry boss, failed test etc.... remove the external issue stress goes. But due to the fact anxiety is about nothing, it is very difficult to overcome.
I was thinking the same thing . People often don’t understand what having an anxiety disorder is like until they have one themselves or know someone who does. There’s a difference.
Men are taught not to talk about what they’re really going through because real “men” never complain or make themselves vulnerable, whereas Women are taught to be the opposite
I have anxiety and I’m a teen I can confirm that getting your kids ready and rushing out the door is being late to a place not no anxiety! Anxiety is like constant worry or thoughts bout something that interferes with normal activities or things you do

Ive been drinking chamomile tea and that’s been helping me quite a bit! As well as I had a chamomile & lavender combo wax melt. I burn it, and then i keep a few of the unburned wax in mesh & sniff it at night or keep the smell on my bed. It helped me calm down a lot!
I asked my Chemist about taking Kava. He said it's hard on the Liver, so I don't use it. Only use sparingly if you must. Don't know about Passionflower, never tried it.
Yes, honestly, I have the will power to ignore every other symptom except for the shortness of breath. I noticed that whenever I experience palpitations, the intensity of my shortness of breath also increases. And when the intensity of my shortness of breath increases, I start to feel anxious and panicky. My cardiologist told me that my symptoms are caused by the MVP(Mitral Valve Prolapse) and Mitral and Tricupidal regurgitation. At the same time, he also mentions that I suffer from anxiety disorder. He doesn't seem remotely concerned about my heart diagnosis. He didn't give me any meds for MVP/MVR. He just told me to do a yearly heart echocardiogram. Nothing more, nothing less. What's interesting about my cardiologist is that he links MVP symptoms with anxiety disorder symptoms. He told me that no one will tell you this link between anxiety disorder symptoms and MVP. According to him, anxiety disorder symptoms are just a byproduct of the issue with MVP. In other words, the root problem is actually MVP, according to him. Who knows at this point what actually is causing my shortness of breath? My previous primary care doctor thinks it's post cov!d syndrome and the new primary care doctor thinks this is caused by anxiety disorder.
I was really anxious as a child and as I grew older I just got worse. For the past 14yrs I lived like a hermit. When I talk to people I feel like my heart is going to explode. I don't know what to do? I enrolled on a course to get out of this, but I feel terrible about meeting people.

My go to is holy basil. It helps with focus and increases feelings of well-being. Definitely do research if you are on prescription meds. I know kava interferes with some so know before you take.
If you can allow yourself to have or embrace sensations of anxiety, it might help to relieve it. It can be a useful mind hack for a stress-filled species
I hope that lady doesn't take kava too much because I'm pretty sure it can have some bad side effects if taken too often. But I suppose that's why they put the disclaimer towards the end Ylang ylang essential oil has helped me,also magnesium Now I would like to try passion flower after watching this video
@@solar5129 I take magnesium every night for a few weeks then take a break for a few days, also with Ashwaganda too I forgot to mention that in my comment, I take them to help me sleep or if I have high stress
Kratom works really well to kill my anxiety, but it has to be taken in larger doses to have a sedating effect which means you run the risk of developing an addiction to it if you use it daily to medicate anxiety. Ashwagandha works well for me but it should be cycled, eg take it daily for a month then have a 2 week break.

“If you’re rushing around, trying to get your family out the door you’re probably experiencing this right now. Anxiety.” No. Thats called stress.
What's the difference?
Exactly, anxiety is uncontrollable fear and feeling like you’re going to pass out for no reason at all, not what they are saying

Kava has been banned in the UK by the Medicines Control Agency (MCA) following concerns that it can lead to liver poisoning.
Make sure you are checking your specific medications for interactions with kava and other herbs ect.

Passion flower (one or two capsules) is like a VERY LOW dose of Xanax. But the key word is very low. It’s not strong like Xanax.
Calm Easy Tea is like a warm hug in a cup. It's comforting, soothing, and always manages to take the edge off, no matter how stressed I'm feeling.
