I really struggle with fabrics like this! I'm getting so much better, and I have a walking foot attachment now (definitely recommend, makes working with knits and slippery fabrics way easier) but I always dread the hemming! I'm just so bad at making neat hems 😭
I have one black one and my man loves it ...he has been asking me to get more ...but mine was bought in a different country ...same pattern ...gonna make some...happy man happy woman
I.. made it. I literally just learnt how to sew a little bit starting from this quarantine. And I made my first project!!!! Even though it’s still not perfectly fitted to me😅 it’s so tight but it already looks fine to me, I just need to resize it a little bit more. But overall this is an incredible tank top i love it so much. And also i combined the other video where you have the silk + lace tanktop for the measurement and this video for the tank top itself. Thank you!
I loved it! The top isn't my style at all but I really like how you're showing the steps and especially how you are super precise with your hands when showing. I am all self-taught and I am learning a lot just by watching you handle your sewing machine.
For those having trouble with the instructions, I suggest watching the video on 0.5 speed. It greatly helps watch her movements and exactly what she is doing. :) I hope this helps
i have a blouse similar to this one cut since december but i've been afraid to finish it without my godmother because of the details, like the straps and finishes but you have given me some ideas, thank you! Perfect quarentine project XD
Just wanna say thank you for this video/pattern! I drew the pattern on paper and will now try to adjust it to my size and height. It will be good practice for me! It would be wonderful if you could make a video on how to adjust patterns for either really tall or small people! :)
Can you make the top based on the non-instructions? There’s no pattern. Without pattern you can’t make one unless you measure yourself and make custom pattern for yourself, which not many people can do.
This is a beautiful top but you give no explanation in the beginning, just tell us to draw lines and your chalk isn't even showing on the fabric. If you used premade pattern (paper or even a top you already own) or first drawing your pattern out while explaining what you're doing and why, would go a long way towards us understanding.I love the finished result and once you cut out the first part of your top, I could understand what was going on but at first I was completely lost.
@@Annathetailor I loved the top! I already made the pattern on my notebook and on paper. I have a question, when I cut the top, do I need to give 5 cm to the waist area? Or do I just cut it exactly with the 20 cm of the pattern?
My mind is blown.. Pattern = amazing Instructions = confusing Or may be I m just too dumb But honestly tho, can u plz simplify the instructions... I lost the track of what is what... Come to think of it... It might as well take me quite some time to wrap my head around it. Thanx for the video ❤❤❤

Hi great tutorial! However, I’m confused on what is happening at time 9:16 and 9:52, are you “stitching in the ditch”?
Stephanie Hi, thank you for your feedback!
That was an edge stitch. I’ve folded a seam allowance to the facing side and put the edge stitch to fix the facing and prevent facing rolling up.

In American sewing instructions, this is called understitching. You stitch on the facing, holding the seam allowances in place. You don't see the understitching on the right side.
