The BEST Gelato, Mr. and Mrs. Pomparelli, in SoCal (read: America) is located in Altadena, CA. It is called Bulgarini. It is more Italian than Italy and the very BEST I have ever had and I have traveled all over Italy in search of great food. Leo Bulgarini is a genius and a real Wizard in the Kitchen. How he achieves his flavors one cannot imagine! 💥💥💥

Brought back fond memories of a photo assignment visit I had in SD. Russian gentleman drove me to a business meeting in his BMW. I thought I was gonna die at every turn bc of his driving. We passed under the “Little Italy” sign but I was too worried to look around much. We made it though. A great adventure. ❤️ SD.
