Hi Everyone! I was reading some comments and acknowledge I was a little triggered in this video. What you see is a genuine reaction and I was caught off guard. I have lots of respect for Tina Craig and her accomplishments, and this is in no way a personal attack. I don’t know her, have never met her, and don’t even know if we have mutual friends. I’m strictly critiquing what has been said and done in this video. Have a great day! ❤️

👍👍👍 I think you did great. People DO need to be called out for misinformation especially if it is misinformation that can potentially cause harm, or lead to a waste of product/money (like combining a gel and oil cleanser). So many of us cannot see dermatologists or estheticians due to financial reasons and the current circumstances, and so we often rely on the internet for skincare knowledge, so it is important to call out misinformation we see.Thank you!!!

Celebs have all the money in the world to spend on this stuff and access to everything under the sun. Actually, they're probably given much of it for free in hopes that they'll mention these products and increase sales. Celebs also have the luxury of not needing to care whether or not their products and gadgets actually work. Normal people on a budget have more incentive to be really strategic about the products they buy and to ensure their effectiveness, so they don't waste their money.
But the most frustrating thing to me is something Susan has mentioned a number of times: at the end of the day, these celebs can use whatever products they want on their skin and it doesn't really matter. Because they have access to the best estheticians, dermatologists, and plastic surgeons for all the latest cosmetic procedures, the creams and serums they use on their skin become less important. Their skin is going to look great no matter what. These procedures can even make up for a complete lack of a proper skincare routine.
Regular people watching these videos need to remember that skincare products for these folks is a small part of the story.
Also, and it's not only celebrities that do this, but I really wish people would stop promoting at home micro-needling. Their are some things that should only be done by professionals. I'm sure that's mainly where celebs and beauty gurus have that sort of procedure done, but for those who can't afford that, they're encouraged to buy a micro-needling gadget off amazon and try it at home.

I've never seen anyone mix their oil and gel cleansers, then remove that with a micellar water. That's a great way to kind of defeat the purpose of three different products, or certainly not get the most out of them. She's trying to get a double cleanse in one go, but it doesn't work that way. Nothing can replicate a proper double cleanse.
And unless you have incredibly sensitive skin, really hard water or poor quality water in your area, there's no need to go waterless. The idea that it's less harsh to use MORE surfactants via a micellar water in place of rinsing with plain water, doesn't make much sense. If you're worried about wasting water, just think about all the waste that occurs during the production of micellar waters and muslin cloths. I mean, how out of touch with reality can someone be?

Really wasn't impressed with her resurfacing compound, it was light and gentle, but didn't really do anything except for brighten the face a little. I saw like 10x more significant results when I switched to a 20% Asorbic Acid Serum. I will say it's a decent product if you're in a hurry and can't do a full skincare routine but definitely not worth the price. I think Susan makes a good point about waxy skin as a result of overdoing it with microneedling looking unnatural, you definitely see that here, the thing that always confused me about Tina Craig bragging about how good her skin was is that her skin just always looks wet.

Actually, lemon juice from a fresh lemon Is actually one of the best under arm deodorants there is out there. Lemon juice does have vitamin C and citric acid which can tighten skin and Alpha hydroxy acid can remove dull skin cells and generate new ones, working as a type of exfoliant. HOWEVER: the problem with pure lemon juice is the pH of 2 which is simply too strong for the face.

It looks like she’s using the right side (usually the edge points in for the cleansing side on all the at home versions and the flatter edge is for product penetration) but she’s just using it so odd lol. I don’t think it’s doing much and I feel like she’s better off not using it at all. Definitely not a substitute for an in office treatment.

made I’m a little extra with my skincare so don’t judge lol but here is what i use.
*Krave- Macha hemp cleanser (day and night)
      * Purito- Cleansing Oil (at night as precleanse)
      * Missha- Artemisia (Mugwort) Essence (Day)
      * Primera- Miracle Seed Essence (Night)
      * Olehenriksen- Banana Bright Vitamin C Serum (Day)
      * Purito- Unscented Centella Serum (night)
      * Naturium- Vitamin C Super Serum (Once a week at night)
      * The Ordinary- Lactic Acid 10% (once a week at night)
••••I usually do the naturium on Wednesday and the ordinary on sunday and the rest of the time i stick with my regular routine. I also use the By WishTrend Propolis Boosting Essence on nights that i use addictives to help it absorb better and combat any dryness that could come from using an exfoliator and/or retinol.
*Illiyoon- Cermide Ato Concentrate Cream (day and Night) i really like that one because its a huge bottle for cheap and it has cholesterol, ceramides, and fatty acids in it to protect the skin barrier. If i fell dry or have any kind of irritation i will add the Krave Great Barrier Relief before I moisturize.
      *purito- Comfy Water Sunblock (day)
It sounds like alot but it works great for me. And I found most of it on Amazon for cheap. Olehenriksen and Naturium i bought straight from their websites and got the primera Essence off Sephora’s website. Korean Skincare has Changed my life.
If you are interested in Korean Skincare Kelly Driscoll and James Welsh talk about it constantly. I hope to see Susan doing some more Korean Skincare reviews in the future 🤞🏼

I don't want to be mean, but her skin looks tired. I've never seen such a weird routine, she's misusing almost everything. Tripollar if you use it properly takes 20 minutes alone (I read the instructions to mine this morning!) and you need to use it with cleansed skin that has had a balm/ gel applied to it. It takes time because the skin is heated to a specific temperature. What she's doing with it will have zero effect as it hasn't even started working, and won't work without the balm- it will just burn her at most. Also, after you microneedle you're supposed to apply your serum or whatever and then leave it alone!! she keeps dragging other tools and doing other half arsed treatments, she's going to get an infection or scar her skin. Doing it over improperly cleansed skin is just yuck. Why oh why is she using a gel cleanser with oil and without water, then applying water after? Absolutely nuts. it's like she's trying to get a week's worth of products and treatments into 20 minutes, with minimum efficacy. She seems like someone who doesn't listen to instructions or advice, and doesn't actually respect her skin very much.
Re Liz Earle, my mum and I swear by her cleanser. It will take off even the blackest eye makeup, it's amazing. We've both been using it for years. It never leaves my skin feeling tight or dehydrated, it's lovely and gentle.

@Miss Steele you don't have to use numbing cream for home microneedling (unless you want to) as the needles are much shorter than those used in salons, but it is really important to be clean and hygenic, and sterilise everything

She's not using water, I'm guessing for environmental reasons, but she uses packaged water which creates waste. Using water minimally is better for the environment rather than generating waste because the water that goes down your sink can be treated and reused. She's trying to be thoughtful, but at the same time she's not really.

    • @stephaniesantiago92

    • @messihendo

Tiffany Opachich nope. Wetting your skin too much can supposedly contribute to over-cleansed or dry skin. I doubt her concern is the environment, although I agree with you 1000x over that packaged water is much worse for the environment.
