But doing detoxes is good for once a year (depending on the person !!!) to just help your body out. Especially if you eat shitty and eat McDonald’s like every day

Love your channel! I hear what you’re saying about all these ‘clean’ products and how that doesn’t always mean much. But to your point about ‘consistency’, I think a lot of people know their environment and many of their products can have some toxic effects, so they are changing what they can in their life. People often just want to switch out some skincare and house cleaning products to maybe lighten the load. Just because I can’t move out to the country doesn’t mean I won’t make some changes here and there. That doesn’t make me inconsistent, it just means I do what I can. Let me live, Susan! 😂❤️
Susan love, I looked at the rertouvé products and they refer to the chest as décolleté , so now you must refer to the chest as décolleté. Because you are fancy lmao
If you are eating a "cleaner" diet meaning eating more whole foods and avoiding processed and packaged foods with no "toxins" like smoking and alcohol, then I think personal body sweat doesn't smell as much if you were eating the "SAD" diet (American Standard Diet) then I think sweat will have more of an "odor" that stinks. This has been my personal experience using natural deodorants on the SAD diet vs. a whole foods diet and my body odor. We are all different, and our work, environment, lifestyle, relationships, stresses, hormones, and chemical balance all play a role in what products work and don't work. *Also, getting plenty of water, sleep, activity, and less stress throughout the week is a part of that cleaner lifestyle.
Alot of these "toxic" skincare ingredients are actually there to serve a purpose and are okay. I think Marketing exploits the fact most consumers are not educated about ingredients and they capitalize on an opportunity to sell "safe" products at a higher cost. It makes me glad I understand that it's all a gimmick.
I’m all for natural stuff but since I have hyperhydrosis in my armpits I say oh well and go for all the aluminum. At least I have awareness of what I’m using and it’s impact and I’m making an informed choice.
Ugh that goddamn Caudalie mist. It's truly one of my most hated products. When I worked at Sephora, I felt so guilty selling it to people. But it is actually so irritating to the skin. The essential oils in it are just absolutely unnecessary. The ONLY good thing about it is that it is in glass packaging and not plastic

@@isabellalara8823 normally products like that aren't properly tested. Sunscreen is a drug and therefore requires testing and a drug label (as well as active ingredients) and often those sun butters/balms/etc are made with "all natural" ingredients and don't actually contain UV filters.
I kinda disagree with the natural deodorant argument. Personally, it works for me and many family members and friends love it. It does stop odor and I always smell very good. Although, it does not work for everyone and it’s VERY hard to find one good:) I think it works for her so that’s why she uses it and that it’s natural. She’s not just slathering vanilla cream under pits, because it most likely works for her. I just don’t aluminum period. I rather not put that on my body knowing it could be harmful in very high dosages and that the rumors could or could not be true.
I sweat a lot and eating meat makes me stink. Years ago I switched to arm and hammer deodorant, then recently started adding chlorofresh to my drinking water. Huge difference, plus will do benzoyl peroxide wash in the shower.
Doing a regular cleanse can be beneficial, like a few times a week I stop eating at a certain time and I don't eat for 16 hours, alot easier coz asleep for most of it,but always feel great after

Oh my goodness you are so right… the inconsistency!!! That actually made me 🤯 Also so happy to hear you debunk the aluminum fears. I tried aluminum free and it was a horrible experience (baking soda like you mentioned..lol). And I went back to my normal deodorant and always have a tinge of guilt. There is so much more to be worried about, AMEN! 🙏🏻
I struggle with the phrasing “should technically be safe for you”… because, talc powder was considered a really big part of health and beauty but is discovered to cause cancer and other problems over time. If NYC is dirty, why add more junk to yourself if you can control certain things. I’m on the fence honestly, so I partially agree with you. Everything is trying to kill us at the end or the day so I guess just live it up haha
Her grandmother Roxie Roker died from breast cancer so she probably is try to do all she can to prevent or keep that area safe. There real reasons people choose to use certain things, real fear.
I commented this on the Vogue video, but I hated her implying how aluminum could cause breast cancer. 1. There is no concrete, scientific evidence correlating aluminum to cancer. The worst part is companies now profit off of this fear mongering and celebrities endorse the rhetoric by this very means. She said this to over a million impressionable people. Instead of taking the time to research, she chose to spread false information. 2. How is she going to be concerned about aluminum when she smokes cigs...Which ARE proven to cause lung cancer...I love Zoë, I do, but this video left a poor taste in my mouth.
Really Yara? We don’t need all the extra bad words added on in your videos. I like to watch them but I’m no happy when I have my children around the use of unnecessary bad language. Please, Video totally spoil for me.
Does anyone have recommendations for sunscreens ? I’m reading that sunscreens are ruining the oceans and are filled with nasties . So I’m looking for a mineral sunscreen , right ? HELP ME SUSAN 😩😩😩
This has ben debunked. Sumscreen ingredients haven't shown significant damage for marine life. Just use whatever sunscreen works best for you. That's the right one. And if you're truly worried and want to help with the environmental crisis you can vote for better representatives, pressure authorities, donate and volunteer, participate with local initiatives, stay informed, etc. That's more useful than worrying about what single ingredient in your sunscreen is "toxic".
Ultrasun and Ultra Violette and Bondi Sands are apparently Ocean reef friendly...... Ibthink generally, Australian brands are and also check if the brand is allowed in Hawaii 👌🏻
I’m super late to this video, but I wanted to comment about the aluminum in deodorant debate. Whether or not you’re concerned about the health issues, aluminum is the reason why your deodorant can yellow your white shirts, which is a huge issue for me. I started using the Dove 0% aluminum deodorant, and even though it most definitely does not last the 48 hours it claims to, it does control odor for me for at least the day. So for me, it works better than any of the natural deodorants I’ve tried and it has less waxes that are difficult to get off (and were clogging my razor, etc.).
If coconut oil is the first ingredient, that’s probably why she says a little goes a long way, it probably doesn’t feel very good on the face. Better to have a “not clean” product that you like and are going to use the right way

Not me thinking Zoe was older than 32. She has the worlds most perfect skin, but I just thought she was older. I don't know why.
Not evennnnn. I thought she was younger.
A lot of toxic ingredients are micro plastics and fragrance. Both of which serve no purpose and are super toxic.
Black don’t crack!!
I want zendaya
I’m all for natural stuff but since I have hyperhydrosis in my armpits I say oh well and go for all the aluminum. At least I have awareness of what I’m using and it’s impact and I’m making an informed choice.
Would you react to Alexandra Daddario's skincare routine please?
Where’s are your 2 new necklaces from?
Ugh that goddamn Caudalie mist. It's truly one of my most hated products. When I worked at Sephora, I felt so guilty selling it to people. But it is actually so irritating to the skin. The essential oils in it are just absolutely unnecessary. The ONLY good thing about it is that it is in glass packaging and not plastic
Thank you for your insight and I enjoy learning from your videos! It is hard to know these days if the companies are advertising one thing, but being misleading in another! I would really enjoy seeing if Badger Balm Sunscreen is a good product to use! Thank you :)
OMG! I completely forgot about the nose blowing in NY.
I hit the dumbs up during the opening I love when Susan geeks out as a fan girl. Maybe it's because in the same age group also enjoyed Paris hilton ans Ricky Martin geek out
as soon as she pulled out the sun butter, my stomach dropped.
What’s wrong with it?
Your skin is beautiful Susan 🧡
Never heard Susan swear so much... I'm here for it! 🙌😄
Can you do a video of product sequence and what to apply first? If using a primer can it be applied after spf or before?
React to Jackson Wang's go to bed with me🙂
loved the points in this video susan!!!
I definitely feel your reaction was valid. Zoe is really sending mixed messages.
Imma use that term " Imma fancy bitch " I love that
I better get a beauty contract specifically for my under eyes to pay 415 dollars for eye cream.
I can’t relate to people who don’t burn in 5 minutes in the sun.
I love how you tell it like it is Susan. Very refreshing.
Doing a regular cleanse can be beneficial, like a few times a week I stop eating at a certain time and I don't eat for 16 hours, alot easier coz asleep for most of it,but always feel great after
That’s intermittent fasting!
You say green beauty makers are fear-mongering by saying "Toxin-FREE" on the product, but then in the same breath you talk about us getting CANCER from Sun exposure. Jeez...
"I fee like a rich bitch " 💀
Oh my goodness you are so right… the inconsistency!!! That actually made me 🤯
Also so happy to hear you debunk the aluminum fears.
Zoe is gorgeous and she has amazing DNA just look at her Mum ❤❤❤❤
I looooove your videos Susan.
Un abrazo fuerte 😘
she really is so beautiful and such a cool person!
Also love the Nai shout out!
I love your videos. I have my own RUclips channel. I have my own skincare routine.
Thank u love your videos But u cursed a lot. Had to stop watching it since my child was next to me .
Her grandmother Roxie Roker died from breast cancer so she probably is try to do all she can to prevent or keep that area safe. There real reasons people choose to use certain things, real fear.
She smokes, though lol. That puts her at a way higher risk.
@@aprilmichelle9658 my gosh. I keep seeing comments exactly like that. She may have addiction and it’s very hard to quit lord.
If primer is skincare then should we prime before sunscreen?
I commented this on the Vogue video, but I hated her implying how aluminum could cause breast cancer. 1. There is no concrete, scientific evidence correlating aluminum to cancer. The worst part is companies now profit off of this fear mongering and celebrities endorse the rhetoric by this very means. She said this to over a million impressionable people. Instead of taking the time to research, she chose to spread false information. 2. How is she going to be concerned about aluminum when she smokes cigs...Which ARE proven to cause lung cancer...I love Zoë, I do, but this video left a poor taste in my mouth.
I love sassy Susan! 😘
I love Zoe
Baking soda literally breaks down battery acid….so there’s that.
Wowww
Don’t we eat baking soda? Lol anYWAYS- 🌝🌝
So does Coca Cola and shit, but people still drink it.
she is so beautiful!
I need to do a video reaction and thoughts on this half hour of misinformation.
HELP ME SUSAN 😩😩😩
blue lizard sunscreen is great they are reef friendly :)
Her mom was in High Fidelity…was she too???
Yeah! Zoë was in the reboot on Hulu last year.
I loved that movie! The book is also brilliant. Haven't seen the series, though.
If coconut oil is the first ingredient, that’s probably why she says a little goes a long way, it probably doesn’t feel very good on the face. Better to have a “not clean” product that you like and are going to use the right way
The reaction QUEEN!
Baking soda gave me such a bad armpit reaction that the skin literally turned dark purple :(
No moisturizer?
She used the sunscreen. Sometimes people don’t use moisturizer and use spf in the morning. It just depends on the person:)
i legit got stressed watching her routine by myself😷😹 susan kinda kept me sane
