Thnx👌💋 hope you don't mind to have a question,🤔when I do the return row on the backside, do I crochet in de front loop. Only when I have a stitch on the front I take also the back loop with the stitch. Thanks for answering and this technique
I made a quick video---- ruclips.net/video/CbNpiojoM10/видео.html Hopefully it helps. I had to go back and re-watch the original video cause I haven't done this technique in quite awhile 😅 Happy Crocheting! 🧶🧶🧶
Wow, I love mosaic crochet, but leaving all those dangling ends drove me crazy. But your method eliminates that - not to mention all the wasted yarn. Thanks so much for showing us this method! I can't wait to try it!
There is another technique (Robyn Kaleta) similar that uses 2 rows from right, 2 from left and you work from the back from the left side that does not have the border on the sides but I have not been able to get my sides looking decently with her 'special SC' at each edge (I assume I'm not doing it correctly). Your video is quite good but I prefer the other technique--will try this. Thank you for demonstrating Clearly Helena's technique--I was discouraged from trying it with just text to describe the process.
That is exactly why I decided to make this video. It took me forever to figure out how to do Helena's technique with just her blog post. Im gonna look it to Robyn's technique. Thanks. Have a great day.
I think I understand what you are saying, and I don't think it's all that noticeable. I mean, I guess they do look different. I can't tell and I don't think many people will. ☺
I’m going to TRY this method… but I’m still confused .. I wish the video had a deeper understanding and explanation. But maybe it’s one of those things that I need to do it to understand
I'm brand new to mosaic crochet. I haven't even picked out a first project yet. I am curious so far this is the first time I have seen going through loops of both rows on a drop DC. Is there a reason for it?
I think I understand what you are saying, it's just to anchor the back. It's not really necessary but I feel like it stabilizes the fabric. Does that make sense?
@@SbeeCreates it does and that was the only reason I could think of so it nice to know my thought process is on track with this new to me technique! Thank you!

Yeah it took me awhile to wrap my mind around this method. Here's a link to Clearly Helena's website it's a long read but she has a lot of visuals. www.clearlyhelena.com/clean-mosaic-crochet-1-row-overlay-method-with-no-cut-ends/
@SBeeCreates thanks for the information. I am not understanding why you have two extra stitches at the beginning and ending of the rows? I do like how row zero and row one I think is done.

I was DISCOURAGED about this style of crochet until I saw this video...I will try again. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!🙂
You’re welcome 😊 I was too until I learned this method. I'm glad it helped!
A great BRAVA from Italy!!! You solved all my troubles with mosaic crochet ❤️❤️❤️
I'm glad it helped. Thank you for watching.

Woooow, brilliant!!!!! Thank you.
I know, right. when I learned this method I was shook... lol. I love it. Thank you for watching.
Since you’re stiitching from thee wrong side rows the stitches are backwards..meaning the stitches on the wrong side don’t look the same?
I think I understand what you are saying, and I don't think it's all that noticeable. I mean, I guess they do look different. I can't tell and I don't think many people will. ☺
I need a chart to see so I can follow. I’m sorry but this is not clear to me.

Hope you enjoy Mosaic crochet, there are so many designs its easy to get distracted...lol. Happy Crafting!
Is this overlay mosaic or inset mosaic crochet please?
I would say it's more like overlay, it's just worked a bit different.
Thank you for sharing!
Is there a reason why you have 2 stitches at each end? Is it a personal preference or would it not work well with just one?
That's just to add a border. I think it would work fine without it. I haven't tried it, let me know how it works for you.
@@SbeeCreates I see. Thank you ^^
não Ensinou legal colocou em velocidade rápida aí fica difícil de acompanhar

@@wanlov123 the 2 extra stitches on each end are just the border and not part of the actual mosaic pattern. Hope that sort of clears it up. 🙂
@@SbeeCreates will try my hand at it and let you know. Thanks again.
