Your channel is seriously a breath of fresh air!!!! Typically, bol diya jata hai humein ki wishwaas karo, but if you ask questions as a child, they dont have any satisfactory answers about god etc. They use fear and subtle intimidation to indoctrinate you. Many people actually have physical and spiritual experiences, that are hard to prove wrong. Like my mom actually feels heat and other physical sensations when she prays The brain might be doing that just out of conviction. But imagine explaining that to someone who believes in god

This is the same rationale I have been trying to induce with my family and friends, however most people dont want to are too afraid of their spiritual indoctrination and social consequences and they wanted to stay around that.

That's a next step for your live stream. Invite well meaning people who have converted to another religion in their adulthood and ask them why did they choose that religion. That could give another perspective, something different from people who were born in their present religion or don't follow any religion.

People may heart or mind, but I think it is because of education which doesn't have any other role today except giving degree, job and luxury.
I'm an atheist myself, this fascinates me a lot. Why is it that some people believe? Your answer is right.... For most people, it is because they're born into their family. With some others the reasons can vary. For some it may be a way to cope with abject sadness and suffering, and as a defense mechanism, they turn to God. For some it also must be true that they escape a life threatening situation, and then ascribe that luck to God looking out for them (causation becomes equal to correlation for them), and then there are some who would simply experience the wonders of the universe, and sometimes that experience moves beyond their comprehension due to the emotions that come along with it. I remember walking down a mountain with a group of friends, and a ray of sunlight fell on me, and I felt such a warmth and the scenery just took me by surprise. I started to think that perhaps God touched me. But then again, I was high as fuck on weed. Still a beautiful trip though.. but that is not evidence for God as far as I am concerned.

There is no proof of hinduism being the oldest religion. There are no archeological proof no literary proof or any foreigners account. The oldest proof that people could find belonged to 15th century. India always followed the shraman culture. Also alternatively called as master student culture. There have been lot of enlightened teachers in india who had a lot of followers. Unfortunately the concept of religion came to India when the Islamic kings invaded India. Hinduism came into existence during their period only.

Recording it properly and passin the information far better was uncommon. Now, search 'God of the Gaps' theory. People create a God to fill the gap of knowledge they have no idea of. Most of what is called hinduism or Sanatan Dharma, is old science which if followed today, will be pseudoscience. Science changes but Religion never changes. Hey Vimoh, love your videos, I am also like you born in a Hindu household. But I chose not to blindly believe what was said. When I was in my late teens and early twenties, I studied and analyzed multiple religions like Hinduism, Buddhism, Taoism, bits of Christianity, and other ones too. Over time I realized that religion supports the man through all stages of their wisdom. In the early stages, it's stupid as you say. Just something to support man in his unpredictable life. But in the advanced philosophy of all these religions, the unified existence as a whole is called God. Most of the depictions of God are just symbolic of that. It gradually leads man, to the higher understanding of his true nature.
I am not very religious but humans always believe in god to some extent to have positivity and in tough situations wherein things aren't in your hand. God gives some courage, it's true, especially in mental conditions.

My mum is highly religious, my dad believes, me and my brother are non believers. My parent's didn't push religion on me, neither did they say our religion is better than others or anything. Many people are aethist at heart and religious to show off. This happens as they study and grow. Following a certain portion of religious practice may actually be needed but appreciating other religions is also important. Dharmas are just optional philosophies and many times these philosophies have seeded scientific inventions also. Just a simple suggestion, give more examples while giving your arguments.

I have been practicing Hinduism mainly in the vaishnav sect since 2021 after I read Gita ...as I proceeded reading other scriptures I saw many factual and scientific mistakes in the scriptures, as a biology student was so confused between evolution and creationism. The latter one made no sense and was only based on faith...I just convinced myself that it was somehow true...but deep inside I knew it made no sense....I used to cry a lot and went into depression as I developed self hatred about the emotions I had , I would slap myself and would pinch myself (mainly lust anger envy etc) and still I was trying to convince myself as I was happy following bhakti... I was so brainwashed listening the the lectures of premanand baba that I couldn't digest the fact that one can be very happy without involving God in his life....I am getting agnostic but still have some questions in my mind...like I have seen these babajis and myself crying in kirtans and just hearing the names of lord ...what is the science behind it? Why do hearing hymns sound "peaceful"....
The concept of God is in a way to grant us stability and separate our accountability and responsibility from our actions. That's why when a normal person after living a normal and average life finds in a way a peaceful recreation when they indulge in devotion and hymn,song recitals . Of course this can be solved by self actualization and understanding the truth which is that there is no objective meaning for our existence , suffering and events and that we need to create our meaning in life (a subjective meaning) to live it peacefully and without crisis.

Even by that logic, I am Hindu (practitioner of sanatan dharma) because my parents were hindu, and they are hindu, because their parents were, and like this it is coming from many many generations and ages and yugas. The basic fundamentals are from scriptures, which are also eternally existing and recently in kalyug are presented in written form. Counter question to the speaker is, if he is sure of about the date when the sanatan dharma started to surface up, any dates? I can give him proofs that sanatan dharma is eternal. Sanatan dharma has immense science in itself. The vedic calendars, jyotish vidya, ayurveda, viman Shastra, natya shashtra, the current practices, are so scientific. It is very irrational to put forward any random persons arguments and then react on them. There are wrong practices, and in today's times many people are very ill informed about the science of spirituality. But there are right practices also, right knowledge also, authentic presentation of Scriptures also. So present argument against those. If you can. Most people are so dumb to agree with people like you and with irrational arguments. They don't even bother to do some self exploration. It takes 5 to 6 years of study to be even called as authentic engineer or doctor or advocate what not. Most people go to religion only for comfort for things that are not under thier control.. That could give another perspective, something different from people who were born in their present religion or don't follow any religion.

People may heart or mind, but I think it is because of education which doesn't have any other role today except giving degree, job and luxury.
I'm an atheist myself, this fascinates me a lot. Why is it that some people believe? Your answer is right.... For most people, it is because they're born into their family. With some others the reasons can vary. For some it may be a way to cope with abject sadness and suffering, and as a defense mechanism, they turn to God. For some it also must be true that they escape a life threatening situation, and then ascribe that luck to God looking out for them (causation becomes equal to correlation for them), and then there are some who would simply experience the wonders of the universe, and sometimes that experience moves beyond their comprehension due to the emotions that come along with it. I remember walking down a mountain with a group of friends, and a ray of sunlight fell on me, and I felt such a warmth and the scenery just took me by surprise. I started to think that perhaps God touched me.
But then again, I was high as fuck on weed.
Still a beautiful trip though.. but that is not evidence for God as far as I am concerned.

India always followed the shraman culture. Also alternatively called as master student culture. There have been lot of enlightened teachers in india who had a lot of followers. Unfortunately the concept of religion came to India when the Islamic kings invaded India. Hinduism came into existence during their period only.

Recording it properly and passin the information far better was uncommon. Now, search 'God of the Gaps' theory. People create a God to fill the gap of knowledge they have no idea of. Most of what is called hinduism or Sanatan Dharma, is old science which if followed today, will be pseudoscience. Science changes but Religion never changes. That is why religion is not helping society nowadays, it might be destroying it.

I am not very religious but humans always believe in god to some extent to have positivity and in tough situations wherein things aren't in your hand. God gives some courage, it's true, especially in mental conditions.

My mum is highly religious, my dad believes, me and my brother are non believers. My parent's didn't push religion on me, neither did they say our religion is better than others or anything. They very well know it's personal and it cannot be forced. So maybe there is some truth to religion being forced on children by adults

Many people are aethist at heart and religious to show off. This happens as they study and grow. Following a certain portion of religious practice may actually be needed but appreciating other religions is also important. Dharmas are just optional philosophies and many times these philosophies have seeded scientific inventions also. Just a simple suggestion, give more examples while giving your arguments.

I have been practicing Hinduism mainly in the vaishnav sect since 2021 after I read Gita ...as I proceeded reading other scriptures I saw many factual and scientific mistakes in the scriptures, as a biology student was so confused between evolution and creationism. The latter one made no sense and was only based on faith...I just convinced myself that it was somehow true...but deep inside I knew it made no sense....I used to cry a lot and went into depression as I developed self hatred about the emotions I had , I would slap myself and would pinch myself (mainly lust anger envy etc) and still I was trying to convince myself as I was happy following bhakti... I was so brainwashed listening the the lectures of premanand baba that I couldn't digest the fact that one can be very happy without involving God in his life....I am getting agnostic but still have some questions in my mind...like I have seen these babajis and myself crying in kirtans and just hearing the names of lord ...what is the science behind it? Why do hearing hymns sound "peaceful"....
The concept of God is in a way to grant us stability and separate our accountability and responsibility from our actions. That's why when a normal person after living a normal and average life finds in a way a peaceful recreation when they indulge in devotion and hymn,song recitals . Of course this can be solved by self actualization and understanding the truth which is that there is no objective meaning for our existence , suffering and events and that we need to create our meaning in life (a subjective meaning) to live it peacefully and without crisis.
I would say read other religions also particularly Islam!

Even by that logic, I am Hindu (practitioner of sanatan dharma) because my parents were hindu, and they are hindu, because their parents were, and like this it is coming from many many generations and ages and yugas.
The basic fundamentals are from scriptures, which are also eternally existing and recently in kalyug are presented in written form.
Counter question to the speaker is, if he is sure of about the date when the sanatan dharma started to surface up, any dates?

Sanatan dharma has immense science in itself. The vedic calendars, jyotish vidya, ayurveda, viman Shastra, natya shashtra, the current practices, are so scientific.
It is very irrational to put forward any random persons arguments and then react on them.
There are wrong practices, and in today's times many people are very ill informed about the science of spirituality. But there are right practices also, right knowledge also, authentic presentation of Scriptures also. So present argument against those. If you can.
Most people are so dumb to agree with people like you and with irrational arguments. They don't even bother to do some self exploration.
It takes 5 to 6 years of study to be even called as authentic engineer or doctor or advocate what not. And here comes people with no qualification whatsoever to even utter a word on vast and deep subject matter of sanatan dharma

Regarding this video, agar yeh hi sach hota toh log bade aur samjhdar hone k baad dharm parivartan kyun karte? Nastik log bhi God mei believe karna shuru karte hain. Woh kyun? Yeh nahi keh sakte k lalach mei hi karte hain..objective, rational thought process apnane k baad bhi is natije pe pahuchte hain k God hai.

According to research, is ki asal wajah yeh hai k hum sab mei yeh intrinsic belief hota hi hai k ek Creator God hai jisne mujhe banaya hai. Research was quite big, conducted across the subjects of 27 countries over years. This innate belief spans across the cultures, across civilizations and time. Man has been a believer in God since time immemorial. Not because he couldn't explain something, simply because the belief has been intrinsic.
