When that kid got bit it shocked me, the fear that kid sold to the moment of his death was so real and he was an insanely good actor. Had that little brother vibe that made his death all the more tragic.
It pissed me off that people cheered on his death so much. He was 10 years old at best, abused his entire life, and spent the majority of the apocalypse sheltered behind Alexandria's walls. He hadn't seen a walker for 2 years and BAM there are thousands in his neighborhood. His biggest fear was getting eaten by them. Between Carol's fucked up threat and seeing the little boy walker, he reasonably had a panic attack. Alexandra Breckenridge nailed it, too. Her acting is what I would expect any mother doing if they saw their kid torn up like that - shock, horror, numbness, and a willingness to die.
Back in the day when this episode came out and have to wait 3 months to see what happens next was pure agony. I didn't know the comics and choose not to know until the end of the show, the anxiety was crazy. It's different with The Last of Us now if you played the games, you get anxious for sundays, but not like TWD. I miss this show so fucking much.

I'm rewatching the whole series cause I haven't seen the last 4 seasons and many of the early seasons. I watched this episode when it premiered and it was so memorable that I loved rewatching it this month and remembering each part of it as the episode went on.
