Well, Loki brought the mind stone there, on behalf on Thanos... and as the tears during the convergence only did transport between realms, not to another place on the same world (at least not that we know of) it is most likely that the reality stone (aether) wasn't on earth before Jane brought it with her (especially seeing how keen the Asgardians, who locked the aether away seemed on keeping the gems appart, and seeing that the germans found out about the tesseract through norse litterature, I'm pretty sure Odin knew it was on earth). so technically, only the space stone was on earth when Loki was sent to collect it ;S

"Listen, Sylvie, I betrayed everyone who ever loved me. I betrayed my father, my brother. My home. I know what I did. And I know why I did it. And that’s not who I am anymore."--Loki (2021)
This scene always hurts in a way, because even though Thor is prepared to fight Loki and put an end to the madness happening in New York once and for all, he is still hopeful that his brother isn't completely gone, they used to play together, they used to do get help, they used to do get help, and that's all he wanted, was his brother back, that's why he says "we can, together"
He grew up with a emotionally neglectful parent that held his sibling at a higher regard than him making him feel unworthy. it filled him up with years of pent up hate and resentment that turned into rage when he found out not only was he cast aside he wasn't even Odins blood son which he hid from him, that's why I like Loki I see a lot of myself in him and I understand why he is the way he is it's sad that the only person that truly believed in him was Frigga
His eyes aren't fully blue, because he wasn't completely under control. He was being influenced by the scepter which amplified his rage more than it otherwise would've been, as we can see in this scene.
I saw that too something definitely had a hold on him but he broke thru for a sec he realized what he was doing but he knew it was too late for him...loki deserved better
You never know with Loki. The God of Lies and Mischief. I don’t know if he was genuine in that moment or not. But I *do* know that Thanos tormented and influenced him.
yeah i agree, because they did'nt use their full potential when fighting each other, so many times loki didn't properly try to kill thor even when he have all the chances. like seriously a tiny stab to his stomach?XD
I think he was so focused on the fact that he will never be odins favorite, that he totally forgot how much he is loved by his brother. And in this scene its like he kinda realised it again but couldn't really take it.
What makes the fight awesome is that the actors are really hitting each other. Tom told Chris to not hold back at all and in one scene in which Tom is hit and barrels over holding his stomach is from Chris hitting his to which Chris looks to the crew and says 'he did tell me to hit him' as Chris was worried that he had hurt Tom even through the armor.
Loki left the sceptre behind first chance he got, makes a lot more sense now that it's been revealed that Thanos was controlling him (after torturing him first, that's one rotten grape)
@@person43 yes. That is true. But i just never thought of him as a villain. Even in avengers 2012 he was being controlled by that bad guy that gave him the scepter thingy. As soon as thor took it away on that fighting seen, it was kinda like he had just woken up and he hadent know what he was doing. Kinda like when hawkeye woke up. But he has been pretty evil. I still have always thought of him as a hero. Well not a hero but definitely not a villain. And NOTHING can change the wag i feel about loki. But we all have our own opinions 😊 i miss loki....... but if you look in the back on the ship in the scene were he dies, there is a strange figure movung on the ship! After watching Loki Season 2 Loki definitely Time slipped At 1:10 u Can tell By The eyes. They went from serious to worry and fear. Marvel was Definitely Long Term Story Telling.
Let's call it a beautiful coincidence. Loki tv series mostly happened because Tom Hiddleston played him brilliantly in the movies, and people wanted to see more of him.
NC Quadraxis dunno about Loki, but Thor was likely holding back because they were on Earth, and Thor didnt wanna harm his teammates or any innocent people
I think he means more about the actually choreography of the fight, just looks like two normal people fighting instead of beings with abilities, which is kinda boring.
Cheap tv quality fight scene I have mentioned this was the problem with Avengers. So, many advance weapons from aliens and they damage a few windows. Low cinematography which sold a lot.
at 1:11 I've heard a theory about that moment, now there are those who think that as Loki learns to control time slipping he temporarily jumped into himself at this moment considering how Loki's expression changed for a moment I'm starting to think it's a theory credible
At one point here Loki really wanted to stop, he just wants to be on the level of Thor (he really doesn’t need this madness) but maybe Thanos threatened him and shit that’s why he had to continue even if he doesn’t want to conquer the world in the first place.
He still wouldn't stop it even if he could. Loki wanted this invasion. Loki was literally smiling everytime the chaos he did on New York was brought up in Thor 2. Loki wasn't outright being controlled, his anger and desire for power was just being amplified by the Mind Stone
@@LanaJones_ My comment was before the show released. Even so, Loki deep down inside really didn't want it, but on the surface, he's still pretty evil at the time
No one noticed the reference from Thor 1 Odin: let us end this here and now Laufey: your boy sought this out Odin: and these are the actions of a boy, treat them as such, no need for further blood shed Laufey: he’ll get what he came for, blood and war Odin: so be it Thor son of Odin: loki turn of the Teseract or I’ll destroy it Loki son of Laufey: you can’t, there’s no stopping it, there’s only the war. Thor: then so be it
To think Thor was always holding back when fighting Loki, always holding out hope that the little brother he grew up with was still in there. If Thor had fought Loki and gone all out, these fights would be minute-long massacres.
When Thor pulls him close Loki looks so scared. Like a kid that messed up and doesn’t know how to get out of it now. I think Coulson was exactly right when he said Loki lacks conviction. He has this bloodlust and revenge fantasy that was nurtured by Thanos and enhanced by the mind stone but no actual cohesive plan how to achieve world domination or why. When he stops and looks around him he realises this isn’t actually what he wanted at all. If only he could’ve trusted Thor enough to help him. Or maybe he didn’t deem himself worthy of saving. Such a complex, amazing character. Love this scene!
Ikr, I recently watched Godzilla vs Kong on iMax in Theaters, and I couldnt help but see how weird the Cgi looked at times. Bought it on Blu Ray recently to watch it at home, and upon rewatching, it somehow looked more realistic! Kinda weird huh
This fight scene is the *exact parallel* to the fight scene at the end of the series Loki, with Sylvie. Sylvie is determined to finish what she started, fueled by revenge JUST like Loki in New York. And Loki trying to stop her from exactly what he did, cause now he knew it won't do absolutely any good. He takes the role of Thor, after seeing his fate in the sacred timeline, and more than that wanting to make sure Sylvie, a person who has gone through extremely unfortunate events just like him, doesn't get into any kind of a sad mess. And yet, the Lokis manage to win the fight.
@@lichlichi mate do you literally not understand how being a variant works? Once you become a variant, you become a different version of yourself, and you create a new timeline. @@Sam-yl5tt yes but he wasn’t a variant yet. At this moment, he is one person. When the timeline is disrupted by the Avengers he “splits”. One version going to Asgard, and one to the TVA. "Listen, Sylvie, I betrayed everyone who ever loved me. I betrayed my father, my brother. My home. I know what I did. And I know why I did it. And that’s not who I am anymore."--Loki (2021)
"I just want you to be ok..."
"But I'm not you..."--Loki (2021)
1:28 *thor has flashbacks of when they were kids*
They were eight 😔
1:39 I said we're NOT doing "get help"!
GUYS LOOK AT LOKI'S EYES, THEY ARE BLUE NOT GREEN WHICH PROVES THAT HE WAS BEING MIND CONTROLLED!!!!!!!
Look at 1:32 the eyes specifically
He was crying
But they didn’t want anyone to notice in order to make him seem worse than he actually was.
His eyes aren't fully blue, because he wasn't completely under control. He was being influenced by the scepter which amplified his rage more than it otherwise would've been, as we can see in this scene.
Wouldn't surprise me if Thanos tapped him with the mind stone like Loki does with Clint and Selvig.
1:22 even when Loki was doing the wrong thing Thor was still trying to be a brother to him
1:09
Thor :"LOOK AT THIS!"
me :"Look at this photograph....."

Yeah, I'm looking love keep, wow, the cgi really hasn't aged well
Even though Loki has done some unforgettable things, Thor finds away to make him realise it’s wrong like a true sibling it’s so cool
With 60fps, it feel like as if the fight scene was filmed as a Tv show at the 90s
Khaled Mujahid Looks like the camera work in Agents of shield
i love 60fps everything is look so smooth

@1:10 loki god of stories time slipped to see his brother one last time before he took the ygdrassil throne 😢
you know, loki was being controlled by thanos with the gem. you can see how terrified and scared he is in the 1:10 minute i just want to hug him :(
I saw that too something definitely had a hold on him but he broke thru for a sec he realized what he was doing but he knew it was too late for him...loki deserved better
You never know with Loki. The God of Lies and Mischief. I don’t know if he was genuine in that moment or not. But I *do* know that Thanos tormented and influenced him.
@@ZyliceLiddell i know that it can be deceiving but it was confirmed by the russos that loki was being controlled by the stone
@@ZyliceLiddell at 1:33 you can see a tear fall in Loki's eye! I think he broke through whatever had a hold on him for a split second
@@Amethys_Witch_Blades ٥6
I like how the Thor and Loki fights aren’t about skill or strength because thor would win but brotherly fights
yeah i agree, because they did'nt use their full potential when fighting each other, so many times loki didn't properly try to kill thor even when he have all the chances. like seriously a tiny stab to his stomach?XD
So funny how Loki just casually runs away and leaves a freaking infinity stone just lying in the ground
1:22_1:25
U know Loki is not totally mischievous n villian just by the look on his face .... JUST give him the attention he needed
I think he was so focused on the fact that he will never be odins favorite, that he totally forgot how much he is loved by his brother. And in this scene its like he kinda realised it again but couldn't really take it.
Alex Koethe exactly
@@alexdraws97 yup he literally said it was too late to stop it and he looks scared but then stabs thor in this scene so I'm confused
@@rebeccacasey647 He was distracting thor so he could stab him
@@ryan-tc3rk ok that makes sense
What makes the fight awesome is that the actors are really hitting each other. Tom told Chris to not hold back at all and in one scene in which Tom is hit and barrels over holding his stomach is from Chris hitting his to which Chris looks to the crew and says 'he did tell me to hit him' as Chris was worried that he had hurt Tom even through the armor.
This is the same Loki that will hold the Entire Multiverse 🥲
Came here after S2E6
Loki left the sceptre behind first chance he got, makes a lot more sense now that it's been revealed that Thanos was controlling him (after torturing him first, that's one rotten grape)
Loki, my childhood hero
Hero??
@@person43 yes hero. Have you not seen infinity wars? He sacrificed his life so that thor could live😢😢😢
@@BrigitteDolphinhawk true... true..
It's just that I call him a villain because he more known a "villain"
You have to pay close attention becuse it only shows it forba second. But its there. And it sure did look and walk alot like loki to me!😃 i think he used an illusion again! Either that and my other guess is valkerie. But theres not way loki would die that easily! Its just not him. Hes not stupid.😓😢😢😓
@@BrigitteDolphinhawk yes I know about all that now
After watching Loki Season 2 Loki definitely Time slipped At 1:10 u Can tell By The eyes. They went from serious to worry and fear. Marvel was Definitely Long Term Story Telling.
Let's call it a beautiful coincidence. Loki tv series mostly happened because Tom Hiddleston played him brilliantly in the movies, and people wanted to see more of him.
Really bro? 😂 where is the "time slip effect" then? Time traveling wasn't a thing at this point of the MCU.
'even though I like both Thor and Loki, it's unfortunate how they take 2 Gods and make such a boring fight that any human could do...
NC Quadraxis dunno about Loki, but Thor was likely holding back because they were on Earth, and Thor didnt wanna harm his teammates or any innocent people
I think he means more about the actually choreography of the fight, just looks like two normal people fighting instead of beings with abilities, which is kinda boring.
yeah also his hammer depowered and focus his real power in itself
Cheap tv quality fight scene I have mentioned this was the problem with Avengers. So, many advance weapons from aliens and they damage a few windows. Low cinematography which sold a lot.
Unknown That is familiar. The Gods of Asgard or Olympus are “nerfed” in combat with each other.
In Loki season 2 he sacrifice and he met Thor last time 1:08 before sacrificing himself 😢😢
Meanwhile Jessica Jones is in her office not caring about the situation
Edit: I didn't know this got so many likes haha
Love Alex Alexis
Why should she
Ricardo Rivera woup woop
Don't think she could really help with the situation much. She may have also been a mind controlled slave at the time.
she isn't in NY she is mind controlled sex slave of Kilgrave atm
You can see that in this scene, Loki never intended to kill his adopted brother. I mean, Loki stabbing him feels like a routine between them.
at 1:11 I've heard a theory about that moment, now there are those who think that as Loki learns to control time slipping he temporarily jumped into himself at this moment considering how Loki's expression changed for a moment I'm starting to think it's a theory credible
I feel like Thor has became immune to stabs by Loki because he experiences them so much
Why does it feel like a video game entrance cut scene
Probably because its in 60 fps
Exactly
At one point here Loki really wanted to stop, he just wants to be on the level of Thor (he really doesn’t need this madness) but maybe Thanos threatened him and shit that’s why he had to continue even if he doesn’t want to conquer the world in the first place.
Who knew that he was destined to rule the multiverse
1:25 always gets me.
The quality is intense.
"stop this madness"
"i can't"
notice how he didn't say no or i won't, he would stop it and go back home but he was being controlled🥺
I noticed that.

Even so, Loki deep down inside really didn't want it, but on the surface, he's still pretty evil at the time
No one noticed the reference from Thor 1
Odin: let us end this here and now
Laufey: your boy sought this out
Odin: and these are the actions of a boy, treat them as such, no need for further blood shed
Laufey: he’ll get what he came for, blood and war
Odin: so be it
Thor son of Odin: loki turn of the Teseract or I’ll destroy it
Loki son of Laufey: you can’t, there’s no stopping it, there’s only the war.
Thor: then so be it
Finally, someone else noticed. Well done.
To think Thor was always holding back when fighting Loki, always holding out hope that the little brother he grew up with was still in there. If Thor had fought Loki and gone all out, these fights would be minute-long massacres.
Loki is powerful too. He beat the shit out of cap
Thor’s love for Loki is way too strong despite everything they went through

1:56 look a thors face. It just makes me sad. He loves his brother but he can’t trust him agian
That little ass knife hurted Thor that much DAMN must be a Strong Lil loki knife
Lust can make a person unreasonable.
damn 60fps make the CGI look faker and more like a video game, no wonder why movies are usually 24fps
Ikr, I recently watched Godzilla vs Kong on iMax in Theaters, and I couldnt help but see how weird the Cgi looked at times. Bought it on Blu Ray recently to watch it at home, and upon rewatching, it somehow looked more realistic! Kinda weird huh
This was my childhood and I still watch Avengers movies except this one I haven’t watched this since a long time
The last time I saw this movie was last summer
1:34 that's some Joss Whedon editing right there. Everything he makes looks like a tv production.
Yeah it's unbelieavable how many cuts there are in these action scenes, no wonder he fucked JL up
This fight scene is the *exact parallel* to the fight scene at the end of the series Loki, with Sylvie.
I've said it before, but I love this page man. Don't forget me when you get famous.
Obi-Wan Cannoli ikr
It's interesting how doctor strange is able to do surgery amidst all this chaos

Loki is clearly under the control of the mind stone in this movie. Look at the horror in his eyes when Thor briefly breaks it's control over him.
But he still shown no regrets on what he did when Odin was punishing him on Asgard
Loki was once powerful in the MCU, when he had the mind stone as a weapon.
0:13 wtf Loki on the left looks like a vax sculpture
Madame tussauds probably XD
If someone had told me this villain will become a hero one day 6 years ago I would kick his ass.
Loki is the best developed character ever in MCU
Loki is a badass
And then about 20 minutes later hes on trial at the TVA
That’s a different Loki, not this one
@@Sam-yl5tt no, this is it. People began to confuse "different dimensions" with variants and simply rewind time. It was the second that happened here.
@@lichlichi mate do you literally not understand how being a variant works? Once you become a variant, you become a different version of yourself, and you create a new timeline. When Loki escaped during avengers 1, he became a new Loki in a new timeline he just created. Sacred Timeline’s Loki is still in custody.
@@Sam-yl5tt yes but he wasn’t a variant yet. At this moment, he is one person. When the timeline is disrupted by the Avengers he “splits”. One version going to Asgard, and one to the TVA. This means that right now he is both TVA Loki and main Loki, because they haven’t split into separate individuals yet.
