Dudes, seriously. Thank you so much for bringing the tt into light. I bought the 35mm f/1.4, cost me 70 bucks, and now it lives on my xt3. It just has so much character I can't stop using it!
I have the TT and it's a great lens at any reasonable price, but a superb lens at $98. The fact that it can hold it's own against a $1500 lens is incredible. That's like comparing a $20K car to a $200K car. Btw, I also have the TT 17mm, 25mm and 35mm f/1.4 lenses. All great "character" lenses that punch far above their weight, just like the 50mm f/1.2. Thanks for the review!
Def my favorite lens! I have all the Ttartisan lenses and focusing with them goes so easy. Love them!! I have a Fuji xt100 camera and use a kiwi eyepiece that I put in the hotshoe. This makes focusing with the viewfinder quite easy. With focuspeaking on red high plus using the focuszoom most of my shots look great. If there is one lens I really really recommend it is definitely the Ttartisan 50mm 1.2
The KamLan 50mmF1.1 II is still a good alternative. It's a heavy chonk of a lens, but it can be quite sharp in the center wide open, and gets very good stopped down a bit. Also, for photographers/videographers who prefer stepless aperture (imo great for manual lenses) the KamLan has that.
Nice comparison! I’ve had the 50mm f1 for a few months now and I love it! But I also kinda want that TT Artisan lens! Manual lenses are fun sometimes. Also, I miss the Kamala 50mm f1.1 mk2. It was a great lens! Sold it cause I’m a dummy.
Think about this: portrait photographers buys a 1,500 usd lens to en up later smoothing/retouching the skin of the model or client. Mostly because normal people don’t like the super high res detail. Only photographers seems to enjoy that… so in the end this lens saves you countless hours using Photoshop and gives you more time to enjoy the photography.
Nice review. By the lens body, looks like TT is trying to copy Leica stuff. You should compare the Fuji next to a vintage f1.2, Minolta or Canon FL 58 (this one is really cheap compared to most vintage F1.2 lenses). Pentax should be at another level though (both in cost and IQ).
From the thumbnail i learned that its VERY expensive to have a long hair and beard. Short haircut and facial hair only costs $98!! WOW! What a transformation!!!!😮😮😮

Same here. I haven't used my Fuji lenses much since I got my TT lenses.

is the 50mm f1.2 better than their own 0.95 50mm? from reviews the 0.95 seems to be soft on the corners?
Man I love all these cheap lenses, cos some of them really have 'Character' and renders interesting images!
Love the detail of the f1.0 and I might be getting one in few days. Happy times.
The TT certainly
punches above its weight

I'm confused between this, the Kamlan 50mm F1.1 || and the 7artisans 55mm f1.4 😥

Fab, thank you! 💖
would you pick this over the Kamlan 50mm f1.1??
Please, compare 35mm from meike, 7artisans, TTartisans, etc. :) I couldn´t find a comparission.
I adapted my old Pentax 50mm f1.7 manual lens and it looks dope on my x-s10
From the thumbnail alone I'd say that the best lense for giving a young man beard is obviously the more expensive fuji.

thankyou.
The second half music was distracting from you guys.
Why does it need to be that bigger to have auto-focus? Too big.
Can't sleep on that XF 50mm F2!
Never seen someone mount a GoPro on their camera... you do this often?
Yeah
All the photos are the GoPro
Good stuff. 👍👍
Have you all tried the Fuji 50 f2.0?
Haha, first video I've seen on this channel and from the thumbnail I was like: wow, the cheap one makes you lose your hair?!
Love the mic as always. Are you guys a couple? Say 'yes' please!
IDK. the TT def has more beard.
7artisians 50 mm f0.95
Looking into Connor's eyes is like the first time I heard The Beatles 😂 I'm totally straight btw.

Those lenses look the same if the person watching is blind
